I love how you made the beginning of the film seem like those popular British wildlife documentary shows. The extreme closeup shots of the water, dog, and woods really allowed that feeling to take place. I also liked how you used long lenses to express that feeling that we were watching the animal from afar. This was realistic since documentary crews shoot from very far away. The lighting was great; all the scenes were backlit which allows the image to become three dimensional. Great work, I hope that you’ll be able to land a lot of future clients!
How are you finding the Fx3 as your daily driver now? Does it inspire you to create in the same way as the c200? Also, for what it’s worth I use the Lexar V60 cards In my FX3 and 4k100fps works great!
You nailed it., love how you changed the direction of movement left to right, to right to left. The voice over tied everything together. I need to learn all these filming techniques, skills. Thanks Danny
Man, you know what, apart from being a great great great filmmaker and human being, you are a really great therapist too. Your style of creating idea and putting together into frames, you are just my inspiration!
You so freaking refreshing love you’re style this was rad Getting those extra shots like rushing trees slomo water re shooting dog in 60f just in case all genius! Thanks Coming from a almost 20yrs of filming news and current affairs starting to get stale this is a great kick in the butt to plan more get more options for the edit …. Appreciate you bro
This is so helpful, I really appreciate how in depth you went here. I'm so sick of my videos by the time I hit upload lol I don't think I could get through a video like this, hopefully that changes eventually, lol!
Love all your videos Danny. You make film making fun and chilled! I’ve got a similar audio recorder and I’m intrigued as you seem to be the only TH-cam who uses one as a mic. My audio work definitely needs a help along so might give it a shot! Keep up the ace work
Love the breakdown it was awesome hearing your thought process and how you achieved the shots plus you made it super chill and enjoyable; couldn't have asked for more!
I’m a young dude starting to get into cinematography & u have helped and continue to help me so much, not only practically but u are also very motivating so thank you for all the work u put in. *also side point* I was gonna get a story blocks account cause it said $30/month but then was disappointed to find out that the real price was $60 😬…. But I guess I can’t blame them, there just trying to make money
Cheers Danny - really insightful video and perfect timing too as I'm just developing a storyboard for a customers video and supporting the shoot too. Cheers bro.
"She's a thicc gal" - Danny Gevirtz, June 2021 Sansa, you beautiful girl! We all love you so much. Great breakdown, bro. And, super excited for the upcoming shoots.
Honestly that 20mm doesn't have much distortion at all! Thanks as always for letting us in your brain and how you make such awesome stuff Danny! You always push me to be better dude!
I'm curious to know your workflow. The general steps you take to get up to the final result. I'll look at your previous video right away! I like your energy and your high level of creativity. Thumbs up from Montréal
I don't want to sound weird...but seriously I love you man (in a Iv never met you but your just awesome way) why is it every thing you do seems so raw and amazing. I just realized after watching a bunch of video's going on a Danny Gevirtz bing watch mode you just holding your mic all willy nilly instead of having some massive pro setup with a mic out of screen on a perfect little tripod just adds to the realism of what your doing and some how draws me into what your saying. Which is weird you would think that would be distracting. Something as small and insignificant as you holding and talking into your mic like that changes the mood so much...EH maybe its just me thow. Also I will be uploading the first Commercial I ever shot for a local insurance guy I thanked you before cause it took me bing watching some of your video's to just get the courage to do it, he loved it and thats all that matters. But the next step is to upload load it and get it ripped apart from the real world. Growing as much as possible and learning along the way is the path as you climb to the top of the mountain. Keep up being the best you Danny Gervirtz cause the world only gave us one of you! - End giant story - ;p
Hah! I suspected that intro was from an “open door” helicopter tour. I did it myself when in Hawaii. Best way to capture some great footage. Can’t wait to get back there. Nicely done! 👍
i actually like the end frame bro. the trees frame the action and the logo well :) props mate! nicely done. PS that 20mm is wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide ;)
Awesome work as always! Your writing especially set the stage for everything else to fall into place. Also the bags make these treats look damn good. Almost want to dig into one of those bad boys 😂
Ya know, I've been so focused on building up my wedding filmmaking business that I forgot how fun things like this look to do. Appreciate you always being an inspiration Danny
Can you actually achieve the same image quality with an A7SIII? I mean, I know it's the same sensor, but not quite sure if there is any other difference in the camera that makes the video quality better on the FX3 than the A7SIII...
Thanks so much for the shoutout, Danny. This was a lot of fun to voice for you, and the result looks incredible!
You’re the man! Thanks so much for nailing the VO! Made the entire video.
Tunnix_HD you really did knock it out of the park man. Well done.

Not with the highest bitrate codec, you need CF Express for that
@@posebukse ah yes, I forgot to mention I am using XAVC-S mode!

Danny boy Which cameras has more Dynamic range? Sony Fx3 in 422 10bit or The Canon C200 in 12 bit RAW ??? Let us know your opinion fx3 VS C200 .
Can you actually achieve the same image quality with an A7SIII? I mean, I know it's the same sensor, but not quite sure if there is any other difference in the camera that makes the video quality better on the FX3 than the A7SIII...
My mans never misses!!!
Haha thanks bro
Love ya Danny, keep it up bro
