@@tacticalpossum7090 "largely worked" Bruh NV has worse problems with workablity than the notoriously bad programmed FO4 Boston city area. Without mod patches i was literally breaking left, right and center. Its has brilliant storytelling made by passionate writers, exceptional replayability and visual world building like almost no other. But NV was a freaking mess, which is understandable since it was done in 18 months, but still, we should stop lying to ourselves. The game is brilliant in its content and absolutely dogshit when it comes to stability.
@@senidalamsunyi8300 Yes, there's a mod on Nexus called Dead Money Stealth Fix which fixes the bug. However the fix doesn't apply to all ghost people because some use an actor base which locks their perception at five.
At this point I’ve seen a decade’s worth of “Things you didn’t know about NV” TH-cam videos but I’ll still watch every new one that comes out. It’s a good game.
Never got Ezekiel saying the Khans had a "tragic history". They were murderous thugs who kidnapped Tandi in Fallout 1 and killing and enslaving people in Fallout 2. The Khans have a history of doing dumb things and getting smacked around for it, a trend that continues into NV with them attacking New Vegas before getting smacked down by House and the Families then attacking NCR caravans including using women and children for target practice but then getting beat down by the NCR even if Bitter Springs was legit tragic.
Man I love this game. The more time passes the more I like it and wish I could erase my memory and play it again... Thank you for your videos, they're super great!
the child at heart perk wasn't unfinished in new vegas, rather the dev team thought there weren't enough interactions with children to make it worth it
If you enter the legates camp early (it took me several hours of reload dashing over invisible walls and forced loading zones that teleport you back to the dam, but its possible on console for sure, trial and error) You are surrounded by non hostile legion and you have the option to do some covert spy shit to the mongrel cage, but no one will talk to you and you cannot enter the legates tent, the only way to leave is to fast travel, and im not 100% sure but i think you can kill everyone at the camp without effecting ur reputation with any factions or karma
Man the first time I played fallout NV I fell in love with it. Its one of those games where there is a lot to do in the game but you still wish there was more. Easily one the best games of all time.
I will forever love fallout . The feelings i get when i hear the music or see a new video posted about it is next to nothing I’ve felt from any other game . Thank you fallout for everything.
The all roads comic is good. I wish they did others in that style to add to the lore. The collectors edition also came with a nice box with playing cards, a platinum chip and a awesome behind the scene DVD of making of the game. I lost the cards and chips but still have the comic and DVD luckily from release.
Also! Although I don’t know this for sure, I believe Dr. Mobius is a reference to the 1962 German play “The Physicists” about a group of people in an insane asylum who believe they are famous physicists (Einstein, Newton, and one, Möbius, who believes he is in communication with King Solomon)
6:53 The comic plot and the art is kind of meh if you don't know anything form New Vegas but when you tie it to the game it is an awesome prologue, so to speak
Dont you think, that cutted quest with NCR rangers lost in mountains is a reference to Dyatlov's pereval, misterious disappearence of group of tourists in Russia?
2:16 That looks like Ulysses when you first find him inside the missile silo, in front of an American flag with his back turned towards you. Also when Mobius offers you a Mentat for the first time, there will be additional dialogue options if you're already under the effects of chems or alcohol.
When the Courier is a bit dumb, pays short and blinks with a questionmark on his face its all fine and dandy but when i do it i "try to scam the lady" and im "not allowed anymore in the establishment" double standards SMH
uhm excuse me but i noticed a few times while you were recording the audio for this video you left in some mistaken takes where you called wild wasteland a "perk" instead of what it REALLY is (a trait). I will retract this comment when the corrected video is uploaded. thank you.
The voice actor for Joshua Graham voices most of the Dark Elves in Skyrim
Shit now that you mention it, I hear it now
N'WAH!
Yeah, he has this voice for people with a lot of ash in the troath XD
He also voices Didact in Halo, and Harbinger in Mass Effect.
Funny how dark elves are resistant to fire
This is unreal how much stuff was planned to be packed into this game in just 18 months.
and it largely worked. We'll never see anything like it again.
Even more so how much of it is available for modders to put the final touches on it and unleash it into the game world.

Oh really? Almost like 18 months wasn't a lot of time for a game to be finished.
Ghost people were meant to have 0 perception, but since nothing can have a 0 special stat, it overflowed to 9, which is why they are super perceptive.
Is this real? Did the community fixed this?

Yeah yeah they disproved that.

I also now intentionally say Raisin instead of Reason because of Mobius. He's such a gem.

"hey, there's the high roller"
"Hey-ey-ey, there's the high roller!"
I recently got the Collectors Edition and it comes with a hardcover of “All Roads”. That comic goes hard! 🔥
2:57 this is actually really cool considering how much influence Sierra Madre had on Courier, our brain humming the melody is both cool and scary.
Yeah, but it's confusing to hear the melody if you went to Big MT and then to the Sierra Madre Villa.
@@LilMcMoffett probably because it was meant to do dead money first but still cool rho
The wonderful Matthew Perry voiced Benny. I grew up watching Friends and rewatched it almost every year. Another reason FNV is damn great game.
7:17 - I love the Deer in the headlights look Jessup has :p

I love the doctors in big mountain, they are f-ing hilarious. Especially Dala
The theme played in Jacobstown is The Children of The Cathedral theme which is a nice touch

glad you referenced the 1980 Red Dawn, that 2012 one was just terrible.
Being an idiot in New Vegas is such an experience. Truely realistic
every time I do honest hearts DLC I mess it up by trying to snipe the guy across the bridge
I played New Vegas a lot, but never knew that about evading the White Legs ambush and the alternative dialogue

I still have the novel with the collector's edition box and everything for the 360 version! It's so cool, I love it.
Why are there no centaurs in Falloit 4?
Right?? I think the Glowing Sea could've benefited from having a couple centaurs in it.
Return of the Living dead is one of my favorite Zombie flicks, had no idea that was a reference, shit went over my head
Happy fallout month guys remember to check in on all your players in FO3 FNV FO4 and FO76 !! - War , War never changes .
We need more of these
There is a reference for "Planet of the Apes" movie in this game.
These videos are the best. Thanks man.

Lilly is a beautiful woman, it's ma'am!

All a trait is, is a perk you pick before you start the actual game
can we get a remaster or even a sequel? Also Fallout 3, just give it 4's gunplay mechanics and I will buy and play it again.
25 caps seems fair since there is no kissing
We just need a fallout 1 and 2 remake. Or at least a remaster as an isometric crpg. It would print money for Bethesda.
Here's some useless information: yes, I did enjoy your video. That is all.
guess like most ppl dont get these easter egg references
