@servingtime after the first thousand hours the dlcs came out. Currently, I am wandering trying out the Brave New World mod that revoices a whole bunch of lines, new texture overhauls. This will be my first full playthrough without the Project Nevada mod on in a long time.
@@servingtimeI have probably 2000 hours in the Mojave. There's an infinite amount of shit to do in NV if you really fall in love with it. But I can understand how putting 10k hours is insane.
With mods and the nature of NV's narrative it's a sandbox that can be replayed thousands of times. I'd say Fallout 4 and 3 have a more distinct cut off, yet there's people still playing and discovering Fallout to this day. The franchise is indomitable, If I could spend everyday In the wasteland I would. But there's also a near infinite amount of other games to play too.
It's crazy we get to live in the time of video games.

Though he might not be on the level of celebrity as Danny Trejo, if you grew up on animated cartoons you'll recognise Jason Marsden's voice aka Craig Boone. As for me I grew up on old Disney so he was always Max Goofy (Goofy's Son) or Thackery Binx from Hocus Pocus. Though looking at his imdb you realise he's been part of almost every animation, video game etc. (Fallout 2, KotoR, Majority of DC cartoons and he's still working.)
I like how Yuri Lowenthal is mentioned as an interesting voice actor when he's in literally everything. He's also: Ben 10, Spider-man in recent games at least, various voices in Dragon Age: Origins, Taric in League of Legends and Mylo in Arcane, various Call of Duty voices, various World of Warcraft voices, a few voices in at least on Barbie property, He-Man, and probably hundreds of other characters. I don't think Sasuke is even close to his most famous role. Maybe slightly exaggerated.

I wanna make mention of the Unlimited XP farm mentioned- If you manage to kill all the Powder Gangers without being seen, you'll be able to retain Positive Karma with the group, thus allowing you to do the trick as well as any Powder Ganger quests later on. Also, once you do the shakedown once, head back outside and drag the three corpses that had Leather Armor spawn on them closer to Chet's store for ease of access.
For how little time they got in making this game its incredible how many references were in this game
Fun fact, I just finished a two month road trip across America and during my trip towards Vegas I saw a sign for Primm. I was quite surprised but not as surprised as I was when I saw the actual hotel with the roller coaster going round it
On the Xbox 360, if you never updates the game, a lot of cut content seems to have made it in, like the Fiend armour being a faction armour, i was very confused when people told me that you couldn't talk to Cook-Cook and Nephie, because i used to do it during that bounty hunter quest.

I love the low intelligence dialogue and I didn't know about the Archimedes one with Arcade. I think I'll make sure to go that route even if it loses him as a companion during my next play through.
I’m pretty sure you already know this, but low INT in fallout 1 and 2 adds so much dialogue like that, where your character is basically brain dead. It’s funny as hell

Me too. Bethesda really pushed for them to release it as is. They wanted more time but weren’t allowed to have any. What’s worse is they were promised a bonus (that they really needed) if their average Metacritic score was 85 or above. Due to all the glitches in the game at launch the critics weren’t very happy. They got an average of 84. SO CLOSE but Bethesda didn’t give them anything more and Obsidian had to layoff people. They almost went under too.
@@shanedavis4406Obsidian took the contract specifying a certain amount of time and with the 85 on Metacritic being explicitly a bonus, extra on top for if they did well. If Obsidian didn’t have enough time, that’s on them for literally saying that’s all the time they needed. If they had to lay off people because they didn’t get the bonus money, they should have budgeted safer in the first place

There is a glitch that lets you get infinite caps. When you bring fisto into the Atomic Wrangler just speak to him. Whenever the dialog ends - you get 10 caps. Bethesda… Bugs never change…

It’s a golden pip-boy with diamond on it. Mick gives it to you if you talk to him after completing How little we know if you tell him the Omertàs will be buying guns from them again. It’s really neat but doesn’t have any practicality. How little we know is a really fun quest so I’d definitely recommend doing it and getting the pimp-boy after

I love how the screams were already cut by the time basegame was made, but the dlc also had some lines. Either dlc was in the works pre-launch or they wanter to enable it.
All of the voice lines were recorded at the same time. So, all the screams were recorded and implemented during development, and then disabled later on, as it's easier to disable a file than to remove it entirely from a game.

Also yeah, deleting things in general in development is hard. Painful too, cause a lot of the time you just straight up lose stuff in places you didnt intend to delete from so that makes sense.

The Todd and Moore is scene is not cut. In one of my campaigns I got it. I told the NCR to return the armour, but it didn't seem to do anything.

You can also bring the Missing Laser Pistol to areas where gear is confiscated.
In the arena at the legions camp I would just drop a gun and some ammo on the ground of the arena before each fight and pick it up during the fight.

In my opinion, I love this game, and the title seems misleading because I have watched it all, which I greatly appreciate. I believe it is not useless; rather, it is interesting because, despite being around ten years old, the game can still compete with new games to this day. Even new generation players are discovering this magnificent and inspiring game that has been created. Hopefully, Bethesda will make an official remake of this game and use the other systems that were previously removed or didn't fit make it to the final cut, making the game more interesting. I enjoy the content; keep it up!
