Did someone say crawfish? Y'all are singing my song! Looks mighty fine guys. I've never thought to put in marinated olives and I love those things. Going in my next boil for sure! I'm gonna have to check Malcom"s boil mix out. I had no idea he had one. Any idea if it's available here on the Gulf Coast? Would be a great place to sell it for sure!
Can’t wait til first week in April, camping, flathead catfishing, and boiling crawfish down here in south LA! I’ve had 3 batches from local restaurants that have absolutely sucked! Nothing like boiling your own up! Great vid guys!
I love both you guys but as a born and bred south Louisiana resident, I'm questioning this boil process, little bit different than how we do its down here. Keep the videos coming.
@@mhurricane266 think he’s just referring to all the non standard things they added. Jalapeños, pickles, olives, and such not common crawfish boil items. But hey it’s what they like and that’s all that matters. A true Cajun boil will usually have more Cajun flavors including onion, garlic, celery etc and the potatoes corn and sausage usually go in first and the crawfish at the end since they only cook for a few minutes.
@@corey1788 I got ya! Thanks bro. I’m trying to take in all knowledge. I got in at the end of the season last year but I had a blast with each boil I was able to get in. There’s so many ways to do it!
@@mhurricane266 that’s what it’s all about. Take some suggestions and make it your own. I'm South African and would really like to try some of your guys BBQs and boils. We call a BBQ a braai and most of the time do open flame cooking and spit cooks( like whole lamb over a charcoal pit). You guys make jerky, we make biltong and dry wors ( a must try and easy to make, I've converted a few American friends to biltong from jerkey, and it's a very easy process to make biltong. anyone can make it at home.. with meats we're Kind of in the same ball park just different ways of doing things. Epic video as always and man I need to come visit over there
Looks great guys! I can’t wait to give this a try. Thing is I have some in the family who can’t handle spicey food though. What are some things I can do to make them flavorful but tolerable for them?
Just adjust your soak. Pull some out at 10-15 minutes for the ones that do not want them as spicy. I would not adjust the recipe because you then may not get enough flavor on them. Always taste them and adjust the soak time to get the flavor.
As long as you cool the off quick you could. I may not even bring the shrimp to a boil. Have the pot boiling and drop the shrimp in. As soon as you do cut the heat off and get it cool fast. Should work out well!
No but it helps. You don’t have to have it as long as you adjust you cook time. I would not even worry about boiling the crawfish but just keep an eye on them and when they float they are done.
They were perfect. I definitely can see where it looks like overkill but I much rather start out with an over seasoned pat and adjust my soak time than an under seasoned pot and never get the flavor you want. Thanks for watching!!
My favorite grillers in one video. Dynamic Duo knockin' it out of the park!!
Thanks!
Love it when you guys team up on a cook!
Always a good time!
I can rewatch this 🦞 Boil Video over and over. 💯😎💪

It was a good time!
You know it's spicy enough when your toilet paper lights on fire the next day.
Definitely got some new ideas from this video. Thanks for sharing.👍

Where can we grab some crab boil and more of your seasons?
I may have missed it, but when is that dry boil seasoning going to be available?
You got to love these 2 guys 😂
Thanks!
Dude! That look so good. I'm going to do one soon and try adding some different elements like y'all did!
Where can you order the tubs of crawfish boil seasoning that malcom has
They are only sold at Malcom's Shop in Hernando, MS right now.
What about doing 2 bags of crawfish in the same pot, should I do 2 separate batches?
Depends on pot size. I would recommend doing one sack at a time just to make sure the cook was perfect and get the flavor in them
@@SwineLifeBBQ sweet! Thank you!!
Yes!!!
That’s a really good boil but I’d be dead w that heat lol
Thanks! They weren’t too bad hot.
How do yall cool down a boil when using a 1 sack crawfish cooker?
Same way.... it spray water in the pot while stirring.
Yum ocean roaches
Good Eating!
❤💞😝💕💗
Is a double jet burner a must on a pot this big?
No but it helps. You don’t have to have it as long as you adjust you cook time. I would not even worry about boiling the crawfish but just keep an eye on them and when they float they are done.
got put some corn starch in water after pull the crawfish out - got to have your gravy and bread maybe corn bread too
That sounds awesome!
The world best crawfish boil mixture comes from Fisherman’s Cove in Kenner, LA

How long till I can buy the boil?
You can buy it now at Malcom's Shop in Hernando,MS. Once we get it in bags it will be available everywhere!
