Thank you ! I just fried a motor while on betaflight with this board... I went in a shop and the owner told me it surely has something to do with either my version of betaflight or the version of the board firmware ! I'll try that again when my motor comes up and come back to you !
Thank you, my lord, you saved me a buck! I could not find any information re F4 V3S Plus! Flashed wrong firmware and lost baro and 3,4 escs... The right board type is OMNIBUSF4SD!
You're welcome! Haha this is exactly why I started making these videos, because there isn't much information out there for some of these specific components. Glad I helped! 👍
First off great video, honestly one of the better tutorials for this gear. Second, I have a question about sbus. I have mine wired up exactly like yours however I dont see input on betaflight, what could be the problem? My Rx is bound to radio I just dont see inputs.
I am following your guide to build a drone using the FSI6X transmitter, FSIA6B receiver, and Betaflight app. I have correctly connected the receiver to the SpeedyB F7V3 flight controller and successfully bound it to the transmitter. In the Betaflight application, I can see the receiver responding to transmitter inputs in the receiver panel. However, I am facing an issue where the motors do not spin when I move the transmitter switches, despite having connected the ESC to the flight controller and ensuring all setup is correct according to your tutorial. The battery is also connected, but the motors remain unresponsive. What should I do ?
You'll need to set up a switch on your controller to be the "Arm" switch in the Modes tab in Betaflight. I would also suggest to set a "Pre-Arm" switch which acts as a pre condition to arming (two actions required to activate the quad and spin up the motors). Search on TH-cam for tutorials by Joshua Bardwell (or others) on this topic for more info.
I am using same hardwares as you listed. And also binded goggle and jumper t lite radio controller. When I turn on the drone its constantly beeping. What I can do to stop that and make it fly?
Nice video. I'm wondering why my receiver doesn't come up in the 'Receiver' tab. It is bound but doesn't come up when I move the sticks. I've set UTART 6 on Serial RX. Thanks 😀
Having a nightmare with mine. Took a month of sundays to get the VTX setup and talking. RX on UART 6 has nothing at all and bricked. Now I have flashed the board and motors do nothing in betaflight :(
Thanks for your videos, they really helped a lot, but even though I connected my card and did the update, the barometer does not turn green. I tried deactivating and activating the barometer but it still doesn't turn green. what should I do
The latest version of Betaflight Configurator allows you to add or remove parts of the firmware that gets flashed. Perhaps that may have caused the barometer to not get added and is now not configurable. I would try to flash the flight controller again and select "Classic" mode before flashing.
Thanks for the question! The smoke stopper is only for testing on the bench. It prevents high current from flowing if it detects it and saves components from frying if wired up incorrectly. Once tested and all components are powered up correctly, then there's no need for it anymore and a battery can be plugged into the drone directly. You also cannot fly with the smoke stopper, even if you tried, since the amount of current drawn by the motors would "activate" the smoke stopper and no power will be supplied to the drone.
The flight controller does not have any radio control receiver in this build. The receiver I installed is not an ELRS. You'll need to buy and install a seperate ELRS receiver such as the HappyModel EP2
Most of the time you'll still need to connect to the flight controller with Betaflight using a computer. There are configurations that need to be set such as the ports tab for the receiver/VTX/etc, Modes tab for "Arm" switch, Motors tab for motor order and direction, etc.
Open Betaflight software on your PC/Mac, plug in USB to the flight controller and then plug the other end into PC/Mac. The flight controller should have flashing LEDs. Wait about 10 seconds and then click "Connect" on the Betaflight software. If this doesn't work, try another USB cable, as not all USB cables support data transfer. Hope this helps! Good luck!
Please help me im using PPM since my tx doesnt have sbus the problem is configuration of receiver cant change to ppm and in receiver tab stick movements not showing please help me😢
Sorry. I haven't used PPM before, so I don't think I'll be able to help with that. Try reaching out to Joshua Bardwell as I'm sure he'll be able to assist.
Plugged it in using a USB cable that supports data (not all USB cables support data, so make sure you have the right one). I use a Mac OSX, which does not have any driver issues. Windows might not have the right driver, check out this page for help with that: oscarliang.com/fc-driver-issues-flash-firmware/ Hope this helps!

Hi, thank you for the tutorial. Can you please share the link when I can download the table for vtx which you have shared in the video?
The tx805 power range is 25 - 200 - 600 -800mw and it uses smart audio 2.0
Good^^

What type of receiver is it? You'll need to set the correct protocol on the receiver tab to match, such as SBUS, CRSF, etc..
@@nxp200i am using radiolink r9ds reciever and its supports sbus, ppm and crossfire. I wanna use sbus protocol. What do i need to do?

HI what GPS module is compatible with this FC?
After everything is done do you still connect the smoke stope while flying the drone ?

What design program are you using in the first part of the video
Autocad Fusion360
If i soldered everything, dó i need to install all this true computer, or does it fly right away?,say standard setting..

why does betaflight freeze when connecting the usb card and battery at the same time?
I haven't seen that happen before. Does it happen when using different cables? Do you have another flight controller to try?

What is your goggles?
I am using the emax Transporter box goggles. They are terribly cheap and old now, but do the job for my flying.
i cant find motors, you can send alternative motor names?
I would try the iFlight Xing2 2207 2755kv motors
