Nice quality, as always from SW Motech. But for the love of God, can someone not make a quality ABS plastic pannier (lighter weight, less cost) that is "TOP" opening, for practicality?
Hi, Thank you for your feedback. We will keep it in mind for further projects, but for this one it was practically because you can use one pannier as side case and as topcase. The inner bags ensure greater convenience in use. / KF
@@SW-MOTECH Thank you for taking the time to comment, much appreciated. Adventure riders know that nothing is more practical than a box with a lid on top of it. But their bikes are already heavy enough without luggage, and few use their $30k Adv-Tourers off-road, so lighter-weight top-opening touring panniers, which are more watertight and less prone to flexing than side-openers, and more secure than soft luggage, would be ideal - and would be a genuine unique selling point to any pannier manufacturer who realizes that gap in the untapped market.
