I don't know why so many beauticians don't explain this. I've heard some crazy explanations and I am so glad you gave the true reasons why warm and cool water is used.😊❤🌞
This was a beautiful video! I tried not to comment because I know I ALWAYS do, but the information was so excellent and so much of it I didn't know. Ever since I saw the video about hard water and using a jug of distilled water as your rinse, I always take my big jug of distilled water with me to the shower! Lol. I wash my hair in warm water but I've been rinsing my deep conditioner out in luke warm water. Then I pour some distilled water over my head for the final rinse and yell "AHHH!!!" Lol. Because the water is so cold! But I know it's good for my hair, and afterwards, my hair is never dry 😊
This was very informative video. I do the same thing as you suggested. While I was at dollar tree they had this oval shape plastic container. It is for washing baby hair. I purchased one. It came in handy.
You are the truth, thanks for the fantastic information. Wow l wash/condition with hot, and rinse with that same hot water, and yes l have to work for days to get it back to normal, again Sis thanks!!!!
Wow!!!! Thanks for answering my question that I've been meaning to ask you. I noticed when I use warm water , the hair products rinse out quickly then cold. Thanks again sweetie. You rock!!!!!💐🌹💐🏵️💐🌸🏵️🌹💐🌺
Excellent information as always. I have mature dreadlocks to my hips that are now changing due to my age (greying, drier, etc.). Your channel has been a life saver.
What if your low porosity and you rinse out your deep conditioner with cool water say you want to do the LOC or LCO method wouldn’t you need to re apply warm water just to open the cuticle back up
Wonderful, very very informative. I have real silver hair and for 2 years now my hair has been dry. I knew about warm water cool water but it doesn't hold moisture. Im a press not flat iron girl.(67)
Thank you this was very informative!! 😇💕 Question - if deep conditioner is rinsed out using cool water and if you need to re- dampen hair (low porosity) when applying a styler ( gel), what temperature should the water be?
Wow...who knew?!! I LOOOVVVEEE hot water, so i wash EVERYTHING, including clothes in hot water! But i see i will have to change up how I wash & rinse my hair now, just as I've been told to do to preserve my skin from those hot showers. Not looking forward to that neither because I can already feel the discomfort just thinking about it...Brrrrrr!! 🥶😅
hahahaha!!! Well you don't have to use cold water, but even warm for a person who prefers hot is COLD! LOL! But your skin, scalp and hair will thank you for it!
Thank you so much Star!! I appreciate it so much! Can I put this very brief testimonial on my website? Or can you go to the website and do a quick review? You can just go to the product and click 'review'
Hey there! If you using are a semi permanent or a rinse - yes - you WASH first but condition afterwards. If you are using a permanent color - wash and condition AFTERWARDS.
I have a very thin high porosity hair with a bad traction alopecia. I want to use rosemary water spray to grow my hair, but I don’t know if I have to seal it with castor oil. What should I do? Do I need to seal it with oil or just leave the rosemary water on my edges? Thank you
I could seal with castor oil. I think it will help with the growth. Here's are a few other oils you may want to consider: th-cam.com/video/yXD0NcWdEEQ/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/yb_blSqRDq4/w-d-xo.html
I’m getting there now, I found a rinse out conditioner that works for me and leave in and cream that also works for me. Now I’m testing my deep conditioners to see which on will work😊. And my hair is growing back💥
@@KarenofCurlHouse thanks I'm new hear. Loving my natural hair, it's my third go round and getting it right this time, but this has been in question. Thanks for responding

Great explanation and very cute shirt! 😉 I knew to use cooler water while conditioning, but didn't fully understand why. Love hot water showers, but I'll start turning down the temp🌡 Thanks for this!
I always use warm water to wash my hair & cool water to rinse out conditioner

Yes washing more often definitely made a difference for my hair it’s been growing faster
Yes it does! Thanks for commenting!
My hair gives me problems when I deep condition and when about to dry it I have high porosity my hair dry really fast.
OMG!!! All of this makes soooooo much sense.🙂

You should use warm/hot water where the water is hotter than warm, but not hot. Its in between.
Thanks for sharing,Karen (and the help from the Mr🙂).

Thank you so much! I thought my hair would look a mess after I pull it out of the water but I think it was right cute myself! lol!

i was told hot water for low porosity
Hey there. Both hot and warm water will lift the cuticle for low porosity as well. I tend to stay on the warmer side 😜
@@KarenofCurlHouse I was told the same, warm water for low porosity hair but should I still rinse the conditioner out with cold water?
I always heard you are to use cool water to rinse out conditioner but I wasn’t sure. Thanks. Do you wash and condition before a color treatment?
Hey there! If you using are a semi permanent or a rinse - yes - you WASH first but condition afterwards. If you are using a permanent color - wash and condition AFTERWARDS.

I could seal with castor oil. I think it will help with the growth. Here's are a few other oils you may want to consider:
th-cam.com/video/yXD0NcWdEEQ/w-d-xo.html
