Why m4a, are you recording music shows with your phone's mic, just to put them in your PC and EQ the sh*t out of a sample you got from that shi**y audio file? LOL Nah I get it. I also do that sometimes, anything I cam do to get a sample. At first I didn't understand why m4a to mp3, but as I was reminded I now get it. Though a lot of people still use mp.4 to mp.3, to get a sample from videos, especially TH-cam. M4a kinda sucks though.

I thought he was talking about the youtube mp.4's being converted to mp.3's. That's also something a lot of people use for getting samples. But now that I've read the comment again, I see what he really ment, he wasn't talking about extracting audio from an mp.4 and converting it to mp.3, he was talking about recording samples with a mic, usually m4a is used by older recorders and is still videly used by smartphones.
