      So very tragic.

I saw Titanic in theaters last February, when it was re-released in 4K 3D. My soulmate and I had never seen it on the big screen, and let me tell you-hearing this haunting music with surround speakers blew us away. The entire audience clapped as the film began. Watching Titanic on the big screen was an intense, unforgettable night. It was like seeing it for the first time with amplified intensity. The theater was full and although we were all strangers, we all cried together during many scenes. You could hear so much crying and sniffling going around…and it was very surreal. We all applauded during the ending scene, too. Such an unforgettable night

I feel like her and I love each other the same way Rose and Jack did.

I remember going to the local Blockbuster Video with a friend of mine named Sarah, she wanted to rent some movies, so I decided to go with her, we arrive at Blockbuster Video, went inside, we started looking at all the videos, until we got separated, I was walking down a video Aisle, and was looking at all of the movies, until I stopped and picked up a movie "Good Will Hunting", I turned it around and was reading the back of it, when I noticed a blockbuster video employee walked up the aisle where I was at, and placed this movie on the rack, I put the one that I was reading down, Picked this movie up, I was reading the back, I decided to rent it, I met up with Sarah, we both checked out the movies that we was renting, Sarah took me back to the house, I walked down into the family movie room, turned the TV on, got a bowl of Hot Popcorn with hot butter, a candy bar, a soda pop, I put the first tape of this movie in the VCR, Sat down on the couch, push the play button, and for the last few hours, sat there and watched it in spellbound silence, It was amazing from start to finish, If only there was a faster ship to rescue all of those people, then more lives would've been saved.

In futility, the ship was merely a plot device. It's the story about the protagonist's survival after the sinking.
The ship's similarities come from the author's seaman experience and the ship was sort of a warning of the outdated laws he observed.

A beautiful, poignantly nostalgic departure of a doomed Titanic from Southampton, as if we were viewing 1912 sepia-coloured, slow-motion footage. The same scene we see later, in colour, normal motion, with Rose’s recollections. Very well done by James Cameron and +James Horner’s music. Just this one opening scene sums up the entire film in less than a minute. A brilliant piece of movie-making.
