I gave up trying to understand why I love them but of course, realistic dolls were my favorite growing up and they just are adorable to me. I have raised two stepdaughters myself and don’t view these as surrogate children or pretend they are babies, and they certainly don’t fill any kind of baby void in me. I just… love them and looking at them, and like any other collecting hobby the biggest point is just the enjoyment and joy it brings to one’s life that makes it just that little bit more happy. Now those were creepy lol 😆 something about holding a baby that brings peace. These are actually weighted with fine glass beads so this size baby would be around 5lbs. Nothing wrong with collecting reborns. I have to wonder why people have to question other peoples' choices for a hobby. It is for relaxation, getting distracted from realife if necessary. People that haven't had a hobby will never realize how healthy it is. Nice little baby, and hope you can find some relaxation, comfort, or happiness! I know I do always.
