I’m a reborn artist and it could be the baking of the vinyl can cause the arm to flatten. If the arms are sealed shut and if she was flown on an airplane in the mail service it can suck in. She’s beautiful!
Artist here! Painting and heating can change the shape but I did hear the vinyl click against eachother, may need some more poly fill inside the arms, may help reshape!

I’m new to all these dolls. I inherited my aunt’s “reborn” doll (from Bradford Exchange), and the doll do have a box like that. What is it for ? One arm has no “bone”, but the other does. I really do not know what all this means. The box and the bone are pure unknown to me. So, I’m looking videos on reborn dolls. Your videos probably will shine some lights on it ! You seems to know a lot on reborn dolls ! Thank you for it !
I think it was just a little warped from storage or the little plugs in the arms. seemed to look better at the end of the video that was filmed a few weeks after. :)

It can happen during baking but can also be caused by how the kit was stored before painting

From the shoulder to the elbow looks longer on the just received one. That's weird.
