    My PS5 Pro is practically silent. It’s so ridiculously quiet, even under full load I can’t hear it unless I’m closer than arms reach, and even then I have to stick my head up into it.
    I’m so grateful my unit doesn’t suffer from coil whine like my base PS5 did.

    It’s not that the resolution was raised in some games, but the dynamic resolution doesn’t have to drop as frequently to balance out the frame rate. It will stay closer to the peak of the resolution scale.

  • @AI-AITUM
    @AI-AITUM 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

    Nothing has changes for me. Still loving my Pro and love the fact that despite hardcore running games for hours, it still operates the same; smooth, crisp, and getting those consistent extra frame rates 👌👍!
    Do agree, they could have added an extra USB instead of taking away, but I already had an adapter in mind and ready anyway.

      Why is it that companies can take things away from people and charge outrageous amounts of money for the same product and people find a way to defend them? Apple, Sony, Samsung etc, Sony has removed the disc drive, Usb port and the stand put in a slightly fast GPU and charged $200.00 more for the same system and buyers are defending the hell out of this decision, Ive heard the gaming industry is going completely digital so we don’t need the disc drive as the buyer searches online to find a sold out disc drive for the system, boy Beyonce was correct, America has a Problem.

      @@AI-AITUM yeah i was totally in full copium watching Digital Foundry put the pro in the dirt lmao pure scam games run worst than PS5 they had the side by side to prove it and even said PSSR is worst than OG FSR2 but hey at least Sony managed to munipulate the gamers into believing its a beast by strategically enhancing certain parts yet all the 3rd party full next gen games are running awful

    Great video as usual, really enjoyed this!
    The coil whine / noise seems to be hit and miss. Mine is quieter than my base model for sure.
    The boost is a solid feature. Ghostwire Tokyo is a very good example with far greater stability for a graphic intensive game, especially with a VRR / 120hz TV of course.
    I’m in the midst of Zero Dawn remastered on pro and loving it. Really looking forward to forbidden west now based on your comments. If much better than base model it should be a solid next gen experience for sure!

  • @Bazsoton
    @Bazsoton 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    My PS5 Pro fan noise goes down as well. Doesn't have noise coils on PS5 Pro.
    One more thing: from my observation when PS5 Pro lays flat, there is a lot more heat coming from the left side of the console when compare to PS5 Fat. That it could be an issue for people who would like to put it verticaly without that stand for extra £££.

    I've never owned a tabletop console but I oen a 55" 4k 60hz tv so I was disappointed when the ps5 came out with unstable game performances. I knew I could wait for a Pro version and though everyone calls it underwhelming I really think they are sonused to this tech that don't see any changes.
    I just wish disc drive and base were already included.
    I'll be getting one as both birthday and christmas gift 💪🏼

    CPU doesn't boost graphics lol and even in that boost mode it's still slightly slower than XSX. P.S the reason your seeing improvements in BF2 is because it runs on dynamic scaling and the Pro is pushing it to the max range. also i like the bit where you tested all last gen and cross gen games😂

      @@dirt_nWater Does nobody at Sony understand that most people have their consoles either in a TV stand or some kind of A/V rack? In most cases, it is NOT an easy reach around to the back. That's why having USB-A on the front was a great convenience feature for people.

    my ps4 pro purchase has turned me off to any future "pro" purchases. my ps4 pro sounded like a jumbo jet taking off. i literally had to adjust the volume on my games just to drown out that fan.

    • @slash5235
      @slash5235 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      I had to wear a headset to play some games like Horizon Zero Dawn and Code Vein because it was too loud. It was very distracting that I nearly lost interest in the game.
      It feels good to have a PS5 Pro to get away from that. It's much better than the PS4 Pro fan noise.

    • @paulmcgeever5343
      @paulmcgeever5343 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yep sony conned us with the ps4 pro but then promised us a ps5 that could do 4k 120fps that has now been dropped on the ps5 pro. We are back to where we were, now we can get 4k 30/ 60fps with the ps5 pro that looks a bit better and runs a bit smoother. That is so subjective !

    • @minarum
      @minarum 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@paulmcgeever5343actually wasn't promised. But the base 5 can do that depending on the game. So nothing skeptical.

    • @minarum
      @minarum 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      That was the devs. I was the same way but games where the devs did actually make a ps4 pro version. It was noticeable, big time. Most pro enhanced games were a gimmick. But games like ff7r, ff15, conan, and a bunch of other games. The pro definitely wasn't a gimmick. Plus it was cheap too.

      Have a cousin who also has an Xbox series X. They love their PS5 way better and are having fun and say that the PS games look better and plays better; and this is despite x being technically better on paper. They said the box is "collecting dust" 😂. Their words verbatim.

    • @songboek
      @songboek 6 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I also have a series x and the pro and they are definitely not the same. Pro looks way better on all games. What stands out the most is the raytracing/lighting/hdr in games. But overall better resolution. I do have a oled 120 hz tv so keep that in mind.
