Bro at the end tried to bash form shooting when Curry stresses that exact shot 100 times before backing up 😂😂 tik tok is wild, awesome video your insight into this stuff is really interesting
You should make more reactions to coach ross and the good drills program. A lot of gimicky looking drills but I think some of them are actually good. They are also very unique
i love this video as a self-taught basketball hooper! Keep it up! although my attention span doesnt allow to watch all of that, but we finna go thru lmao 😭
That is like dribbling with your eyes closed which isn’t bogus at all. You are training muscle memory to know where the ball is instead of finding it. I declare your drill BALLER.
@@balancedbasketballacademy alright got you! I'd love to watch you reacting to some of the matches that are left in the playoffs, you are so good at analysing it would be great!
I have not had the pleasure to train college or pro players. I have played against college players (in college) and trained under former pros (NBA, WNBA, and overseas players). Fingers crossed that changes one day though.
I agree with your reasoning but with the last video I think you misunderstood, "good drill" proposes a type of training in which extreme movements are exaggerated like the 180 fadeaway, and I think it is very effective to train in this way While for dunks he didn't say in the video that there's no need for weight training but he wanted to send the message that too often we focus on plyometric training and too little on actually trying to dunk, (best plyometric training in existence) Here for me you don't have really understood the message Try watching his other videos and you'll think again
I second your point. I'll add that gym exercises often don't provide the same type of resistance that parallels what you get in game. They dont quite train the full range of motion or have the right direction of resistance(majority of resistance is gonna be downwards;gravity based but you also need lateral resistances). Rotational power is another thing that is rarely trained in weight room and often not done well. So I think the exaggerated rotations or just practicing various rotations in general will be beneficial for developing rotational power. Resistance training is still great for developing strength in certain positions but for functional training there is still none better than the actual thing.

In my journey to “master” the art form of basketball, I am glad to have found this channel. You are very insightful.

Jordan, are you planning make a video about yourself or q&a or something of the kind?
One day, but I have a lot of other ideas to make long before I start talking about me.

Damn this was helpful! I'm relatively new to basketball so I can't rly tell between what's useful and what isn't
really nice video once again, i’m curious, though do you train other college basketball athletes or pros?

check out some of Micah Lancaster's stuff

Fair. Just not what he says in this video. So maybe he meant something else, but he didn't say that here.
