Peter & Paul had different dispensations
      Acts, is short for
      The Acts of the apostles
      Peter & Paul
      (being the main ones)
      Started with Peter
      Ended with Paul
I've also found out, why when men were together
They used to call each other by surnames.
      At times
      Mark, and Barnabas
      We're surnames
      John Mark
      To separate from JOHN
      JOSES Barnabas

He knows how to exegete scripture and explain it in such a way that ANYBODY can understand it. If you don’t understand him, it’s because you have your own agenda and narrative and therefore you are Not a Christian. Just like all these false teachers and false prophets that he calls out. They know he’s RIGHT but because they make money off of deceiving weak Christians, they refute his claim, all the while going to hell and bringing their followers with them which is such a shame. It seems like verse 18 isn't a separate thing happening with verse 17b but it's expounding or clarifying more about what's happening with him regaining his sight and being filled or baptized with the Holy Spirit...People were baptized in rivers of water or some body of water not being sprinkled by water and there weren't probably bathtubs in normal homes; plus that wasn't the practice...He hadn't left the house yet it seems because he was weak and was finally eating to be strengthened by food after all this had happened...Then it says he left to be with the disciples and to preach immediately...Thanks Corey for going over this scripture with us and whatever thoughts we have on it being water or spirit baptism, it's a blessing to have these conversations and discussions with each other...

It was both water and spiritual baptism. The Spirit is involved in the water baptism, but the one baptism that we all believe we need to be saved is baptism in the Holy Ghost, and this baptism is only through sincere faith in the Son of God, Jesus the Christ. John the baptist preached repentance and preparation for the coming of the Kingdom of God, and said that he baptizes with water, but one greater than him who's sandals he is not worthy to unloose, will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and Fire. The baptism in the Holy Ghost is the baptism that we truly need for salvation. This baptism is completely the work of God and his Son Jesus the Christ. One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism.

(Titus 3:5) *IS* talking about water baptism. The "washing of regeneration" there in the Greek is literally called the ("laver or bath of regeneration"). Many scholars acknowledge this as referring to the bath of water baptism. We are told that Christ cleansed and sanctified the church in this way "That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the *"washing (laver, bath) of water"* by the word" (Eph. 5:26). Therefore, when Paul was told to arise and be baptized and wash away your sins calling on the name of the Lord in (Acts 22:16) it was referring to water baptism at which point the blood of Christ washes away one's sins.
*"Regeneration"* when speaking of salvation means *"new birth"* and is, therefore, the ("washing/bath of new birth" Titus 3:5). But one is only raised up to walk in the *"newness of life"* in baptism where the old self is crucified with Christ and his sins are done away with (Rom. 6:4-7). When Paul was baptized he was baptized into the death of Christ, was buried with Him, was crucified with Him, and was raised up with Him having all his sins forgiven and done away with (Rom. 6:3-7; Col. 2:11-13). That's where the new life begins.

You have to be baptized with water, Jesus commanded this and the Apostles did exactly that. We also have history of the early church doing so as well. Why wouldn’t anyone want to be baptized by water if that’s a command from Christ. Of course I already know that for some reason those who don’t believe that you don’t have to basically do what Jesus commanded us to do will side with whoever. You have people running around looking for someone to agree with them. I agree that some things are debatable but some things are not and this is one of those subjects that is really not debatable. Acts 10:47 proves this and noticed that Peter commanded Cornelius and his household to be baptized by water even after receiving the gift of tongues. He didn’t give them a choice or tell them they didn’t have to do it. He commanded them, why? Because Peter and the other Apostles obeyed what Jesus told them in Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:15-16.

That’s a desperate question and a question that lacks faith. This is why you should study your Bible. Read Acts chapter 8 beginning with verse 25 and finish out the chapter. This is one of the problems today with churches. If It’s something we don’t want to do then we come up with hypothetical scenarios or questions to try to get out of doing what Christ commands us to do. I apologize if that is not your intentions but I have heard that one far too many times. If you are sincere then Acts chapter 8 beginning with verse 25 is your answer. We have to study our Bibles and not depend on others to study for us. I edited this because I shouldn’t have started out with “Lol”. I do apologize for that. Most people who have asked me that question mostly asked with the intention of finding a way to get around not going into that water.

I believe Paul got both in the beginning when the scales fell from his eyes he received his natural sight back, and his new spiritual sight, and afterwards got water baptized to wash away his sins calling on the name of the LORD, indeed the word washes us, but here I believe it's talking about water baptism. God already declared He called Paul to be an Apostle, and when God is in control we move as He leads, but here's another question does the bible tells us when any of the Apostles were baptized?? I know they baptized others, but where does it tells us when they themselves were baptized?? I have my own thoughts on this. Thank you.

Paul's own teaching and example make clear that he both believed and taught that baptism is essential to salvation.
He had established the church in Corinth, and the people there were baptized as a result (Acts 18:8). He himself was baptized because he had been told what he must do (Acts 9:6), and what he was told was to be baptized and wash away his sins (Acts 22:16). He later taught that baptism is essential to come into Christ and into His death (Rom. 6:3,4; Gal. 3:27).
Furthermore, he says here in 1 Corinthians 1:17 that he was sent to preach the gospel. What does the gospel say about baptism? It says that baptism is necessary to salvation (Mark 16:15,16; 1 Peter 3:21). When Peter preached the gospel for the first time on Pentecost, he taught that baptism was necessary for the remission of sins -- Acts 2:38. Paul taught the same gospel, not a different gospel (Gal. 1:8,9). Hence, when Paul preached the gospel, he also preached that baptism is necessary to salvation. Nothing here or elsewhere denies that

Does God need to wait for a human being to apply the grace of salvation from sin?
In other words, does God need to wait on the baptizer to immerse the new believer for Him to justify the new believer?
The implication of saying water baptism is necessary for salvation is taking the ball out of God's court and putting it in man's court. Man becomes the author of salvation if water baptism is a necessary step for salvation.
What makes a person right with God, the grace of God through faith (Eph. 2:8; Rom. 5:1) or the grace of God through faith PLUS the rite of water baptism?
As for Acts 2:38, it is proper that we approach scripture knowing that no interpretation should conflict with another verse. In Acts 2:38 the 'for' means 'because of' not 'in order that'.
If water baptism is necessary for salvation then 'for by grace are you saved through faith' (Eph. 2:8) and 'therefore, being justified by faith' (Rom. 5:1) are being pitted against Acts 2:38.
Scripture is complete, whole and true and no where is water baptism a necessary rite for the salvation of the soul from sin.

Water Baptism is not essential for salvation only the blood of Jesus, indeed Jesus declared to his disciples in Matthew 28 to make disciples, and baptize, and to teach them to observe all things he has commanded, but baptism is not a ticket into heaven only believing on the son of God Jesus Christ according to John 3:16 that whosoever believeth on him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. My daughter is not able to confess Jesus, because she has special needs, and God forbid something happens today, or tomorrow you mean to tell me, because she was not baptize, and has done no wrong will be sentenced to punishment?? God forbid, God loves her, and she's secured in the LORD. for god declares He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy on, and will have compassion on whom He will have mercy on, the blood is greater than the water, indeed we are to be baptized, and any true believer will do so, but for those who can not for reason beyond their control can not be baptized I believe God according to His word that whososever comes to Him He will in no wise cast out.

It was water, Phillip was baptizing people in Acts 8 and those same people had not received the Holy Spirit. Christ told Peter "Bless are you Simon Bar Jonah for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 16:17) 18"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 16:18-19). Jesus spoke these words when Peter professed Him to be the Son of God.
Jesus gave Peter keys to the Kingdom. SO when you read Acts 2, Peter is preaching on the day of Pentecost where 3000 souls were saved and visitors from every corner of the earth, heard people speaking in their own native tongue as a result of the Holy Spirit.
Then in Acts 8, you see Peter and John laying hands on folks and they receive the Holy Spirit...after they were baptized. Then reading further you see where Philip is sent to the Ethiopian eunuch who is struggling with Isaiah 53:7. Philip, preaches to the eunuch and he is saved. Straightway, they find a body of water and the eunuch confesses "Jesus Christ is the Son of God" and is baptized in the water.
In conclusion, I believe Paul was baptized with water.

So the question stands, can you be baptized in the Spirit before you get baptized in water?
Acts 19:1-6 tells us that, that same Paul met certain believers and inquired on whether or not they had received the Holy Ghost and when it was made known that they hadn't he baptized them in Jesus Christ name, then they were filled with the Holy Ghost. Not the other way around. Also we know that this is water baptism because he likens the act unto John's baptism.
Another example is Acts 8:14-17 where Peter and John went to Samaria after hearing that they had received the word of God, and they prayed that they may receive the Holy Ghost and it only fell on those that were baptized in Jesus Christ name.
So then we are to believe that since it's the same Spirit which works all in all, that if it was done like this (and many other times throughout Acts) then it would also apply to Paul and everyone else after.
And was Paul ever baptized in water? Yes Romans 6:1-7.

Read I Cor. 10:1-4, Col. 2:9-13, Roman's. 15:8--Key word Paul was chosen to be a witness to the Gentiles (isaiah 43:10. They needed a visible sign to clarify that Paul was truly a "Witness for Christ, therefore he was baptized by water so he could be a valid witness to the "world" who does not understand spiritual things. Yes laying on of hands, by a man appointed/annointed by God to do so, according to the Bible can impart a gift of God's Holy Spirit. Saul/Paul did receive God's Holy Spirit by laying on of hands. READ: ACTS 19:2 (they spoke the wonderful works of Christ just the same as Paul who then proclaimed the wonderful works of Jesus Christ). God continue to bless you.

I think the key is who and we see Ananais says "see the Righteous One" and closes by saying "calling on His name"
In John we read when the dove descends and Jesus appears on scene John is baptizing with water and John says aloud "I will baptize you with water but He (Yeshua) will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.
This "birth from above" as Yeshua tells Nichodemus one must be to see the Kingdom of Heaven, this is exactly what the Righteous One does for us. Births our Spirit if you will. Being born is an action not of our own but by another usually two......
Ive been told there are actually different baptisms in the hebrew culture. Theres an identity baptism a spiritual baptism a physical bodily baptism theres a baptism for the wine when new and placed in the appropriate container especially if for priests must be migva'd(baptized) the priest had a baptism before he could lay the sacrificial animals blood onto the mercy seat.....cant remember the other two. The spiritual baptism is the only one that matters though and He does this for us. The Sealing or Earnest Deposit as i like to say cause whos giving up their deposit and Jesus was big on making the most out of everything He received.
Anyhow, my take away is understanding the hebrew language and culture really helps us have better understanding of the NT and OT too. Our English translations really muck up the baptism thing among others which i feel steals away from the Words intended purpose. Meaning it causes confusion. Although i can rest happily knowing "it is of God to conceal a matter and of kings to seek it out" 🕊️ 💜 🙏
After all "the NT is in the OT concealed and the OT is in the NT revealed"

Could it be possible he was not talking about water baptism or Being baptized in the Spirit, but being baptized into the body by the Spirit? Could that be the moment he was saved…calling on the name of Jesus?

We are told by the Lord in Acts 9:12 that Ananias is to lay hands on Paul in order for him to receive his sight. Therefore, this means the laying of hands is for sight only. Further along in Acts 9:15, the Lord says, "Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before Gentiles and kings, and the sons of Israel; for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name's sake." The text indicates that Paul is chosen by the Lord himself and that the Lord himself will show him how much he will suffer. The Spirit of God was sent by the Lord himself so therefore, it would have been a water baptism in verse 18.

Water doesn’t wash away your sins, only the Holy Spirit washes sins away and renews your mind.
Either way water or spiritual it doesn’t matter because we all know he had the Holy Spirit and he fought a good fight.
To me that all that matters, also anyone that brings technicalities and fight over frivolous things either doesn’t believe or their trying to find a way not to believe if that makes any sense

Kjv: acts 2:38, repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Also acts:10:44-48 after the gentiles received the Holy Ghost they also were commanding to get baptized in the name of the Lord!! Must have both; the baptism of the Holy Ghost and the baptism by water !! The baptism by water in Jesus name is for the forgiveness of sins!

    ‭‭Acts 9:17 KJV‬‬
[17] And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, AND be filled with the Holy Ghost.
Paul received water baptism and the Holy Spirit. Probably at the same time
Can any man forbid water?? Water symbolizes so much which is why it was commanded to do. The blood of Jesus needs to be applied to clean your conscience. Remission of sins. Purifies. Cleanse. It's a faith operation. Needs to be done by a holy and righteousness man of God. These things were demonstrated in the Word of God.
Jesus was baptized then received His Father in his inner man. Jesus had to be water baptized for the same reasons, he just had no sin. He had to breakthrough from one administration to come up higher to another. He got his increase. God was well pleased. Baptism is beautiful and is more than just showing the world you're a believer/follower of Jesus Christ. It's so important spiritually speaking.

@pastoryoutube6682 First let's 'rightly divide' God's word. After the ascension they were still doing sacrifice, keeping the sabbath and so on. These were jews. Jesus said ' I came for the lost sheep of Israel'. Are you Jewish?.
Gentiles were added mostly by Paul. He even said he was glad he didn't Baptist any of you...'save for a few'.
The one Baptist is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit...that's It.

    • @CCD_106
      @CCD_106 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@pastoryoutube6682 you are right about the thief but @robert and I are correct on the water baptism. I contend that Jonh 3:5 means one has to be born first and THEN born-again by Spirit baptism (becoming the new creature thru Christ 2Cor 5:17). Some think it means water baptism but that makes much less sense and the very next versus (3:6) reinforces the order of being born of flesh a.k.a. water as in a woman's water breaking as part of childbirth, and then rebirth by The Spirit. Think Jesus, born of woman FIRST and later baptized in The Spirit. Lastly, there are people who physically CANNOT be water baptized based on illness or physical disability, so one would have to believe they are ALL condemned to hell if that was a requirement... Let those with ears to hear, hear! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
