Good point. Developers only care about a bottom line now & putting out repeats. Less and less studios get the chance to create a good work of art, instead being bought out by larger companies. So big publishers ride the gaming wave of mediocrity because there is very rarely a game that will raise the bar.

Ok so when the player throws someone into a furnace as an environmental kill in this game it gets rated m, but when the ps2 era graphics of the punisher throw somebody into a furnace it gets an ao rating and has to be censored. Shows the level of intelligence at the esrb headquarters is incredibly low.
That was the old days to be honest, even the early 3d GTA games we're initially rated AO, but if they're we're released today, they would've given the M rating, much like the old X/NC-17 movies to R for movies.

When I play these kinds of game I like to add a tiny bit of roleplay to the whole experience. I dont play like OP, for instance in gta v when I played with Michael I did middle age man/father stuff, whereas when playing with Trevor, I did all kinda of funky shit. It's just that, in a game like this, I wouldnt go around driving crazy and killing innocent people for no reason. Dont like it
