@@TUF_SENPAI yeah that move pretty smart, and save my ass many times, BUT I felt that comparison didn't fair because in SL the guy not give full speed to the car so Wei not fly through the window, but he give full speed in GTAV (what funny tough the Car was less broke in GTA and the guy head smashed on the wall there was blood, but he survived :D ) only plus point for the tire prints

And the map is not small , simply alleys are not complex (they represent the true hong kong structure) but practically the map of the city is big and extends vertically too. Sleeping Dogs has the right quantity , GTA is full of useless stuff. Precisely GTA is poop , Yakuza has nothing to deal with that apart from some stereotyped "culture" , Watch Dogs has nothing to deal with Sleeping Dogs , the storyline is very different and Watch dogs is about hacking , way more futuristic and the series was developed AFTER Sleeping Dogs , so Sleeping Dogs can't be related to Watch Dogs whatsoever. Saints Row is an absurd poop too , Driver is quite different and mostly focused on the sole driving. The driving system and shooting system in Sleeping Dogs are awesomely realized , the vehicles are inspired but and very well realized , the dynamics are great and immersiveness is greatly realized along the culture of Hong Kong. All of this in GTA is just junk with tons of useless content badly united , that's why Sleeping Dogs is famous and was much more bought while GTA is just filled with selling lies and propaganda , but in reality everybody practically realizes and knows it's just a failure played by almost only a bunch of exhibitionists. You get tired playing GTA V in a couple of weeks , just to summarize because one could write about that till tomorrow: far too easy , horrible driving system , junky shooting system , ridiculous and unrealistic story , ugly vehicles inspired but with lack of creativity and realism , horrendous map (but just depends on the country where the story is set) , silly lies-concepts written on the screen which would like to make the game fun but just make it ridiculous , police shooting and hitting automatically even if they shoot to a different direction because the aimbotted bullets just reach the target , police cars crashing at you at high speed which in reality would result in a suicide...there is nothing realistic and as a consequence of these dynamics the chases are all the same , and it comes that moment that you understand police guys have fear about entering the sewer , so every time things go like this: you put yourself in front of an npc girl , after 7 seconds she says "I call the police!" "What? I'm not doing anything" "I call the police! I really do" , you hear the police coming to shoot at you because you did what? No problem , that's what you are waiting for anyway , you drill the girl with loads of bullets and you calmly observe her painted face since she was running at 0.000001 mph , so you just start making some havoc , maybe with the rocket launcher you easily buy cheap at the market (XD) , then you reach the sewer and you wait for the bot cops running towards you straight and comitting suicide under your fire without any possible logic and tactics (but considering it is set in the USA , I may say this latter aspect is quite near to the real) , then , when you are tired to see those 5 stars on the screen , you just finish to slay the last wave and you run in the sewer , stars are set to 0 , repeat. As alternative , when you don't want to see skyscrapers you can change the settings and fly away by stealing a low quality jet fighter from Fort Zancudo and then you reach the sewer with a parachute. And then there are codes , you may call them cheats but they are not cheats because they are a normal official part of the game , so calling them "cheats" is wrong , anyway the purpose of those codes is essentially prolonging your gaming experience for 5 minutes before you get tired of them too. What is more "dangerous" in GTA are actually people trying to put you under the wheels of their cars or to crash their cars towards yours during chases , everybody are so gladly willing to damage their car or to get a bullet on the head just because you have a gun in your hands or you are chased by the police , they couldn't even buy a bycicle because they walk or drive all the time without ever entering a building , it's completely unrealistic but is done just in case you start sleeping too much in the middle of the boredom , they remind you not to be too distracted and to actually play a videogame , maybe another one which is better and funnier. And there is that boat sinking with no reason when you are far enough from the coast , I mean , maybe putting an automatic pilot to prevent the player from reaching the map limit? No , because wherever there is a sinking boat there is also a shark nearby , precisely a shark made of rubber. Sleeping Dogs has its defections and some of those defections are hateful , but still has much less (and less grave) defections than all other games of that kind , especially if compared to GTA which is pure garbage. Possible replies will never be read so to prevent some fanaticism.

But yeah Sleeping Dogs is indeed an amazing game and it's hard to disagree, but what I do disagree on is your take on GTA V, I would say GTA V is great too. They're both good in their own rights. As for Saints Row I heard it's great except for the newest iteration which bankrupted the developer lmao, and is indeed shit as well. For the Watch Dogs series I would say their okay, but yeah it's mainly focused on hacking so it's not a good comparison but the first and second game was good, the third one, WD Legion is pretty bad. As for Driver I don't know much about it so I can't say anything.

in sleeping dogs, the ambulance can actually revive the people . its just that its randomized . but its pretty funny if they do get revived .

can we just take a moment and apreciate that the ground reflection in sleeping dogs realy sets the mood ? this is realy stunning . but then, the game without updated graphics cant follow the modern standards .

Sleeping Dogs is a lot smaller, shorter and less detailed but it has more content, variety and rewarding gameplay.
GTAV is massive, lengthy and richly detailed, but it has almost no meaningful side-missions, rewards are few and far in between and the whole thing generally feels like it has the depth of a puddle.
It's the classic argument of density and scope vs scale and style.

10. Gta4 (I don' like other gta games , other people may enjoy Gta 5 and sandreaes but I think gta 4 and dlcs have some unique vibes and alots of thing to do)

GTA 5 had bigger budgets and it sold better than sleeping dogs because of its previous entries, popularity and of course it's a bigger game.
And sleeping dogs came out like a year before GTA 5 and because it didn't reach the amount of sells SquareEnix expected so they literally ditched the game and never made a sequel.

You may not feel the beauty of sleeping dogs in this video but it's more beautiful than GTA V specially in the night time and it's raining.... The reflections and splash by cars ...woo
The beauty of the SD isn't the graphics really, tbh. the advanced fighting mechanics got me addicted to this game and also the story and the missions feels dope and rewarding unlike GTA V, played it for 10min. and got bored, eventually deleted it, like idk. hahaha, I think GTA V is made for open roam only for graphics simulating purposes lol.

In sleeping dogs you can come out of the front glass if you hit a wall so fast, also ambulance can revive ppl sometimes, and if you stick a car between two walls the character will exit from the front class
Sleeping dogs was a hidden game. Went through the whole game blind and enjoyed the freak outta it.
Was not hidden at all. Sleeping Dogs is until now the best game of its kind. And the map is not small , simply alleys are not complex (they represent the true hong kong structure) but practically the map of the city is big and extends vertically too. Sleeping Dogs has the right quantity , GTA is full of useless stuff. Precisely GTA is poop , Yakuza has nothing to deal with that apart from some stereotyped "culture" , Watch Dogs has nothing to deal with Sleeping Dogs , the storyline is very different and Watch dogs is about hacking , way more futuristic and the series was developed AFTER Sleeping Dogs , so Sleeping Dogs can't be related to Watch Dogs whatsoever. Saints Row is an absurd poop too , Driver is quite different and mostly focused on the sole driving. The driving system and shooting system in Sleeping Dogs are awesomely realized , the vehicles are inspired but and very well realized , the dynamics are great and immersiveness is greatly realized along the culture of Hong Kong. All of this in GTA is just junk with tons of useless content badly united , that's why Sleeping Dogs is famous and was much more bought while GTA is just filled with selling lies and propaganda , but in reality everybody practically realizes and knows it's just a failure played by almost only a bunch of exhibitionists. You get tired playing GTA V in a couple of weeks , just to summarize because one could write about that till tomorrow: far too easy , horrible driving system , junky shooting system , ridiculous and unrealistic story , ugly vehicles inspired but with lack of creativity and realism , horrendous map (but just depends on the country where the story is set) , silly lies-concepts written on the screen which would like to make the game fun but just make it ridiculous , police shooting and hitting automatically even if they shoot to a different direction because the aimbotted bullets just reach the target , police cars crashing at you at high speed which in reality would result in a suicide...there is nothing realistic and as a consequence of these dynamics the chases are all the same , and it comes that moment that you understand police guys have fear about entering the sewer , so every time things go like this: you put yourself in front of an npc girl , after 7 seconds she says "I call the police!" "What? I'm not doing anything" "I call the police! I really do" , you hear the police coming to shoot at you because you did what? No problem , that's what you are waiting for anyway , you drill the girl with loads of bullets and you calmly observe her painted face since she was running at 0.000001 mph , so you just start making some havoc , maybe with the rocket launcher you easily buy cheap at the market (XD) , then you reach the sewer and you wait for the bot cops running towards you straight and comitting suicide under your fire without any possible logic and tactics (but considering it is set in the USA , I may say this latter aspect is quite near to the real) , then , when you are tired to see those 5 stars on the screen , you just finish to slay the last wave and you run in the sewer , stars are set to 0 , repeat. As alternative , when you don't want to see skyscrapers you can change the settings and fly away by stealing a low quality jet fighter from Fort Zancudo and then you reach the sewer with a parachute. And then there are codes , you may call them cheats but they are not cheats because they are a normal official part of the game , so calling them "cheats" is wrong , anyway the purpose of those codes is essentially prolonging your gaming experience for 5 minutes before you get tired of them too. What is more "dangerous" in GTA are actually people trying to put you under the wheels of their cars or to crash their cars towards yours during chases , everybody are so gladly willing to damage their car or to get a bullet on the head just because you have a gun in your hands or you are chased by the police , they couldn't even buy a bycicle because they walk or drive all the time without ever entering a building , it's completely unrealistic but is done just in case you start sleeping too much in the middle of the boredom , they remind you not to be too distracted and to actually play a videogame , maybe another one which is better and funnier. And there is that boat sinking with no reason when you are far enough from the coast , I mean , maybe putting an automatic pilot to prevent the player from reaching the map limit? No , because wherever there is a sinking boat there is also a shark nearby , precisely a shark made of rubber. Sleeping Dogs has its defections and some of those defections are hateful , but still has much less (and less grave) defections than all other games of that kind , especially if compared to GTA which is pure garbage. Possible replies will never be read so to prevent some fanaticism.

0:06 It is possible to get ejected from the front in sleeping dogs. All you have to do is drive super fast into a pole or some edge. It requires a lot of speed but it is possible. Also apart from like the game mechanic of car hijacking there is another animation which triggers when the car doors are blocked.

I bought the definitive edition last week cos I already sold my PS3. There's something charming about the story that keeps me coming back to it, plus if you love Martial Arts this is the best free roaming game of Martial Arts. This and the Warriors game, timeless and gold.

Sleeping Dogs is way better. Better story, better characters, better water graphics, way better wet effect on the roads and on the clothes. Better open world system and much more small feature. To play with Sleeping Dogs was such a fun and amazing experience. But when I played with GTA 5 I bored it less than 2 hours.
