- Post living with it for 2 months, here is our verdict on the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter. This is a Hindi review and covers all the pros and cons we could find with it. Yes, Ola's electric scooter did not have a perfect start in the Indian market and lot of users faced issues with both software and hardware. However the company claims to have worked on this and the latest 3.0 software update has further ironed out software bugs.

I Installed Move Os 3 . Ola S1 pro , 5000 KM Completed , 5 months completed . Believe me it is an amazing Vehicle. ❤️ 5/5
Better if this review came after the latest OTA update, as doesn't add much value without it in my opinion.
As i experienced move os 3 lot of things improved like regen , pickup in normal so good and also eco mode speed increased to 43 and lots of things improved
I own one since April and ridden 4200 kms , I like the scooter but my only concern is durability, I hear lot of squeaky noise from various parts including screen I fear things will apart in the long run.
If you use this machine carefully, trust me it's worth.
Ridden almost 7000 km in just 4 months.
Riding OLA is next level experience, and move OS3 is just awesome...
How is the customer service of Ola ?

I own ola S1 pro since May... completed almost 2700 kms.. I'm facing thermal throttling issues in hill areas even in normal mode...and it shows message of reduced performance changing to eco mode in 10 seconds.. afterwards it can't climb. It's a serious issue for the price we paid....keep testing yours.

I'm a big rider too was searching for a review for a big rider everywhere now only reached your review after 4 days of search
I don't have any sort of throttle issue in the normal mode till now . That should be your vehicle specific issue.

Futuristic features noone is anywhere near to it in terms of features
Even in world no scooter has this many features.

Ola customer service is pathetic, I am struggling to get test ride from last 15 days..and you believe me.. it's horrible..And just imagine about after sales service 😀😀
I just got test right after booking one day ago even i just booked at night time. It depends upon area where you live.
Finally I booked Ola S1 Pro on 16th Nov, got delivery on 19th, it was quick. So far it looks good, I am happy.

24hr test drive has lot of booking.
Door step test drive will only get easily for Places near EC.
I got test drive on booking date on booked slot time. Also took 24hr test drive from 5 days after booking in EC.
I did some calculatio that do I need this.
So currently i drive ~300Km/month now my Activa 6g drink ~6.5 liter of petrol which cost me 710₹
Now if i spend 1 lakh for S1 then it's better for me to invest same money in an FD I will get ~8%. So it come to 8K of 1 lakh.
I think people who drive a lot >1000Km/month for them this scooter will help them a lot.
Also I don't like bar in foot and front suspension so I suggest people who look for long lasting scooter wait for s2

You have the latest Activa already, why would you need to upgrade?
Why no one talks of cost when battery would require replacement let's say 5 years down the line.
I guess adding that up with daily charging expenses would make cost of running at par with ICE scooters.
There's 5 years warranty on battery. Expected life is about 8 to 10 years. Battery cost will come down by 60 to 70% in 8 to 10 years time. So running cost is very very less than ice scooter.Also battery cost is 85000 for ola S1 pro. I got 60000 central subsidy+ 30000 Maharashtra subsidy. So effectively I received battery for free.

But I doubt battery life of 8-10 years. No battery lasts that long and even if it does its efficiency will significantly drop.

If you maintain charge cycle of battery and charged it carefully then it will give longer life and also Battery cost will reduce in upcoming years and also when you put new battery then you will saving money for next 5-6 years

Ekdum bakwaas kar raha hai ye aadmi, total waste of money hai ye Product, 8 mahine me only 4000 Km Ride huye hai aur kai baar repair ho chuki hai, kahi bhi band ho jati hai, kahi bhi eco mode mai aa jati hai, pagal kar diya hai, kachre mai fekne ka man kar raha hai
