Godzilla Minus One was an excellent modern interpretation of the 1950's Godzilla.
Godzilla vs.Kong and the monster verse movies are excellent modern interpretations of the 1960's-1970's Godzilla movies.
That's the great part about Godzilla. There are so many, with so many different tones and stories, that you can keep reinterpreting the story for a looong time.

Im excited for deadpool 3 because i grew up with the original X-Men movies and am happy to see some of the original cast come back one last time
Also, Venom 3 because it's the only spiderman spin off movie that I care to see
There aren't a lot of major films coming out for me this year, but the main ones that interest me are (in release order):
- Dune Part II
- Kung Fu Panda 4
- Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire
- The Fall Guy
- Deadpool 3
- Transformers One
- Sonic The Hedgehog 3
This is definitely subject to change, but these are really the 7 I could definitely say off the top of my head

It's going to be hard to top 2023
Literally none of those for me except maybe Deadpool 3 if it's good and stuff which isn't on that list like Mickey 17 a quiet place day one and the untitled Jordan Peele film.

100% agree with you on #4. I've been such a huge sonic fan since the 1990 games and with them adapting shadow in this movie, im really wanting a pg-13ish rating because it's gonna be so badass seeing sonic and shadow go up against eachother on the big screen.
I want to see sonic and shadow battle in sonic the hedgehog 3!
I can definitely see Metal Sonic being the ultimate villain and then having both of them fight him afterwards tbh

I really agree with a lot of these. I’m excited for so many of these especially Kung Fu Panda 4, Godzilla X Kong, and Sonic 3. For Sonic 3 I can see them pulling a Godzilla VS Kong where idk Sonic and Shadow have their massive fight, Sonic loses or something else happens, then Metal Sonic is revealed and it has to be Super Shadow and Super Sonic vs Metal Sonic where Sonic finishes him off like Kong against MechaGodzilla I can see that happening tbh
I have a strong feeling that Amazing stuff will happen in the 3c Films community this year and something good will happen
As someone who works at a movie theater and can see all these early and free, I see this as an aboslute win

I have several movies I'm interested in this year but my main ones are probably Godzilla x Kong, Furiosa and Gladiator 2. It's a shame we don't have many comic book movies coming out this year but it'll be interesting to see how well Deadpool 3 does and I'm curious to know how Joker 2 will be received. I'm not expecting Madame Web or Kraven the Hunter to do incredibly well but they could be potentially fun watches.

Update: 1:12, You're not wrong about Coyote Vs ACME being one Looney (pun intended) Roller Coster of a Ride, despite the fact that there is still technically a very possible, but still almost slim, chance for this Film to be saved for good............I hope that's still the case.
Double Update: 1:25, I knew there'd be a possible, but slim, chance for us to see Coyote Vs ACME as either a Theatrical Film or some kind of Digital Streaming Film like what happened to SCOOB! and the 4th Hotel Transylvania FIlm.
Triple Update: 1:50, I also don't want Coyote Vs ACME to be Lost Media forever, either, Chris!

Honestly I’m happy we’re not getting as much this year. The problem Hollywood had in 2023-2023 was they were desperate to make back what they lost during the pandemic and were just releasing too much, the blockbusters were cannibalising each other. Now we can get back to regular release schedules and movies just might start making more again
