thanks for your help can you explain all about bios partnumber description and how proceed if I have 2bios chips on motherboard and I would like to programming it
thank you a lot! but i am confused: in your videos talking about 5V and 3V it seems like they are generated by the single IC, but in this block diagram i saw 2 different IC one for 5v and another for 3v, plz correct me if 5v and 3v are generated by the same IC or if it depends on motherboard.
@@electronicsrepairbasics_erb Thank you. That would be very interesting. Desktop motherboards are often neglected when it comes to electronics repair. I would like to learn whether desktop MBs are simpler or more complicated than laptops.
Hey there, I follow your videos daily. I have big issiue that I can't solve for already 5days. My Lenovo t410, is getting 19v. I have tested the IC u41 controlling the 3v and 5v MOSFETs. On the reference pin 22 I am getting 3v but on the pin 29 I am not getting reference voltage 5v. Could you please look on the schematics and maybe you can give me an idea what else to try? Also there are other 2 ics u42 and u 23 and I am not sure which one of those is the kbc chip. I don't necessarily need this laptop, but I don't wanna give up on solving the issue, I am using it to learn. I have idea the u41 is faulty but I am really not sure Ps. I have tested all capacitors and indicators for short, and there was no short to the ground
Here is the challenge; Buying a backlit keyboard (with 2 pin extra power flex) for a replacement when there is no backlit power pin on the mobo. Need suggestions from pros!

Hello, how desktop PCs motherboards are different from laptops in terms of power rails/voltages?
There are some differences but not much. I will explain the desktop motherboard soon
