Man this show warms my heart some. I love watching you teach the little munchkin how to wrench and I love the chemistry between you and Aaron, Emily. This show is real wholesome viewing and I love it to bits.
Ok, PB Blaster is super, but for really frozen engine pistons, bolts, brake lines, try Iodine off the shelf at local $ dollar stores, you will thank me, but I don't need but a smile once you try this,,,It's old school, and works, Bear
One of the best investments I ever made for my shop, was a really decent nut, bolt, washer selection. The initial cost was a bit steep, but seldom, if ever again, did I need to run to the parts/hardware store in the middle of a job, for a couple of nuts, etc. I can't emphasize enough, how freeing that was, and how much time and energy it saved me. Do yourselves a favor, and get set up with a selection of hardware! I love you two, love watching your channel, and I wish you all the Best!
I adore how you guys are teaching the little one all the things that you're doing! I wish more families did things like this. You're doing it right! God Bless from OKLAHOMA!
"When the bolts are in the lift, drop it like it's hot!" -Emily. I love those moments, like that one and the black and white behind the scenes scene and even where Aaron was talking about waking up in a bad mood even though everything's alright because that's all real life and that's why we all love y'all.
Cool on getting Ford to sponsor you. As a Ford diehard I won't mind! The pinion angle can be lessened by tilting up the rear end. The stock double cardan UJoints will take a lot of pinion angle. My early Bronco had the pinion up steeper than the driveshaft. As for the steering shaft. I'd just slide the whole column down. The steering wheel will sit a little closer to the dash and that is fairly simple to do. By the way it was great meeting Emily at SEMA, sorry for seeming to ignore Aaron, he has as awesome a partner as any many could ever hope for.
I too celebrate the excellent family content Our two children grew up in the business and they are 26 and 23 years old now and they still talk about all they learned being hands around mom and dads work. Congrats on an excellent channel and you all deserve all the blessings coming your way
Congratulations on the truck, well deserved! Your channel is so real, you don’t hide anything and are an inspiration to many. Looking forward to seeing what you guys tackle next.
It’s amazing to see how much the kiddo has grown up from those early episodes. Congratulations on all the success and companies started to recognize your success and want to be part of it. It is definitely deserved!
On my 92 Bronco where I added a cut down (1.5") 3" body spacer lift, I flipped the bolts upside down in the threads and then pounded. The sleeve they fit into mushrooms overtime. I've then had to grind off the head to pull the sleeves out. Put them in vice and unscrewed the bolts. That was back in '99!
Really Enjoying your channel! It's a good thing that Ford reach out in this way. For them to make real positive moves towards the future, maybe they could partner with you for their first Electric Truck. It cannot be many years away now so you should find yourself in pole position when the time comes. I love the friendly atmosphere of each episode and the 'can do' vibe. Keep up the good work, you're doing a really good job!
Quite possibly the best Flying Sparks Garage video yet! That kid is growing like a bad week, the Ford partnership...that is HUGE! And lots of good shop work here, Em, Aaron, keep up the good work folks, your doing a lot of good.
You brought back an old car memmory. My second cars was a 71 Chevy Impala convertible. I reworked the engine a bit and put fat Craigers on the rear. First time out I did a burn out on a wet road. Went well until I got under a tree and the road was dry. Snapped the pinion gear in the rear end. Dragged it back home, knew I wasn't go enough to replace the pinion. So I bought a rear end at a junk yard. It was giving me fits. I was doing all the work alone and came up with an idea to use heavy nylon rope and twist it with a breaker bar it get the mounts in place. It worked. But ratchet strips would have been easier. LOL
Great job !!!! Ford is a fantastic American company .glad they see that the Ford family loves your family oriented content . Wish the world could learn from it ❤❤😇
I´m so happy for you, you get a great sponsoring, for sure, but...-i´m much more happy to see that you can experience your great projects with your family, i wholeheartedly wish you to be as happy as it seems, you seem like really great people to me and i love to watch you like you deals, thank you for that
That Ford is huge, and when you said "lush and beastly" the first thing i thought of was a Sherman tank with fur lining....! Just a thought here Ford, would be cool if you let Flying Sparks Garage keep the truck and maybe even help them with some Ford Performance Parts to modify the truck so folks can see just how awesome a built Ford truck can look.
The Bronco is coming right along. I can't wait to hear and see it run. :)) When we put a body lift on my uncles 5.0 swapped 69 Bronco, he cut a piece of diamond plate to close in the gap between the tailgate and the rear bumper and painted it black, and he just used a few self-tapping screws and screwed it to that cross member that sits on the rear body mounts. He always said he did that until he found someone to make him front and rear custom bumpers for it that would fill those gaps, but he never did and ended up leaving the stock bumpers on it.
Since you did a body lift check your brake lines from the master cylinder to the frame. Sometimes lifting the body will kink or bend the lines or put them against the frame and rub a hole in them. Just a safety tip.
Awesome ep guys... very fun to watch and love the honesty Aaron as I too have those days that for no reason I’m just a little ticked off! Haha As for the critics... a wise person once said ( or maybe it was on a bumper sticker) that “those who haven’t made mistakes haven’t made anything!” And finally, we never jamb our hands up chassis rails down under here in Australia because you might just find a Red Back spider lurking...
“The Kid”! Love when she’s on with y’all! Such awesome news for y’all with the #FORD truck and very cool of Aron Kaufman giving y’all props! And PB Blaster is awesome stuff!! Much prefer it to that wd stuff.
Thank you for keeping it simple for the back yard mechanic. Also see if you if you can find a camping trailer and use the frame and build it the way you like.
Congrats on the huge Ford truck. Thank you guys. Was just telling someone about me helping my oldest brother wrench on his car when I was 6 or 7. My son caught my grandson at 20 months looking at the harbor freight catalog. I need to frame that picture. Him and I watch car shows together.
Awesome job getting such a solid truck from Ford. That’s good that they are all about helping people that are helping people. Nice truck and love the bronco build!
@Flying Sparks Garage Congrats on your sponsorship, I too have enjoyed working for Ford via a third party for the Airbag Recall. I Love how they are so hands on and interactive with our business.
Having just done a set of body bushings on a '78 Ford, those suck. Edit: Get a Borgeson steering shaft. Get the collapsible one for ease of install and added safety in case of a front end collision.
No more clearance problems and the Bronco will look tough lifted that way! Can't wait to see you get it 4-wheeling. It won't be long before your niece is as tall as you are! Also congratulations on your partnership with Ford. The F-450 is awesome. Enjoyed it!
Awesome video y'all two and it's nice to see that y'all are human and have bad days. Just remember that there is always something to be learning as you move forward in life.
Getting the kid to help is great but a bent piece of coat hanger wire can get things out of the frame too. The other possibility is old single strand house wiring (12 or 14 gauge). Great for making wire ties too (any size) or holding disconnected things up out of your way.
Great news about the F450! I enjoy your content so much, and it's really nice that you keep it family friendly. All the best to you guys. Linda and I send our best.
You guys are great and Ford have really and truly elevated themselves in my eyes by recognizing your virtues and supporting you. One suggestion that I would make is for Aaron to stop saying "could have went" because it's horrendously incorrect. It's "could (or would) have gone," in the name of all that is good and holy. Think of the children. 😉
#startemyoung #teachemright With role models like Aaron and Emily this kid is going places! She has such an amazing personality and knows how to be natural in front of a camera and she is adorable to boot! The #futureofmotorsports!
I don't know if there is a Tractor Supply near you guys, but if there is. They sell nuts and bolts by the pound which is way cheaper than buying them by the each. They even have grade 8 nuts and bolts and stainless also.
I know this is an old episode. I love your channel and shows, glad I found it. I'm going to forward it to my daughter, who just graduated HS and is going to college to study Engineering, but she likes cars since she got into a local car club. Thanks for the videos!!
25:00 That’s how I got the bug. My uncle asked me to come into the shop to grab a socket he dropped into the frame. After I grabbed it he said you’re small here’s where it goes try and tighten it. And I think I stayed in there a good three hours that Saturday. Was so much fun!
That truck is AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEE! Good on ya as they say in Aussie land! Time to buy an old Ford truck and stick a Coyote Engine in her! Ford will love ya for it! By the way you might try a sponsor for a closed in trailer(with a kitchenette and bunk space)so you can work on your cars at the track when it rains. I went to tons of tracks that had no enclosures in my day!
I have just returned from a town called Bingara in NSW Australia where they have a Roxy Picture theatre with a life sized, plaster statue of Maralyn Monroe (in the scene with her dress blowing up) in the foyer. Unfortunately, the theatre is now closed but still a tourist attraction & museum in the town. I thought you might be interested given your vehicle of the same name. Cheers Keith.
I bought a new in 2018 34’ enclosed bumper hitch (2 5/16) trailer from wow manufacturing in Douglas George I paid 5550.00 for it, and the delivery cost was 625$. They generally list on fb market place and also Craigslist. It has floor tie down lights inside, plywood floors, roof vent, Vnose for better fuel economy also has a side door. 3 5,500 pound capacity axles with electric brakes on each axle.
Wow, Ford's on board! Congratulations, well deserved. Love your channel and your can do make do attitude. Love you guys, keep on keeping on. Cheers, Mark.
I'm sorry, but "you son of a biscuit eater" has to be the most adorable bit of cussing that I've heard in a while. Congrats on the Ford partnership! They made a great choice!
Milwaukee Corded Sawzall long enough stroke to make super quick work of body bushings. The 18v battery Sawzall is also nice but when brute force is needed use the cord
Please tell me you used bigger washers under the bolt heads for the body mounts. Those small ones that came with the kit don't spread the load out enough and will soon rip the sheet metal
You are awesome and I love to watch each episode. The kid is so cute and funny! I hope I can have a little helper one dag. And really nice to see Ford coming onboard, I like that truck too.
I don't understand how it's not already! It's wholesome entertainment the whole family can enjoy and it's educational! What more can you ask for? I mean think about it, their's a model, an awesome dog, and adorable kid that loves to help and the wife says Aaron ain't too bad on the eyes either, but whatever. Plus a wide variety of really cool builds!
Food for thought , but I always spray paint my bolt's and nut's including washers with clear satin , Good Vid, The Bronco off road can't be beat lol Now the Question is does the transfer case/trans fits ?? Tent city it for 2 days then get a hotel and a shower, then back to 2 days camping, (unless it Rains) You get to see America in a different and Better way camping.
Man I love watching your TH-cam Channel so much. I love all the different content. I hope someday I can find someone to have a relationship like you guys. You give me hope!. Be safe. Be happy. Love y'all!
Nice team work on the Bronco. Gonna be a runner for sure. I hope Aaron gets to dedicate some time for an instrument upgrade. Best thing he could for for you both. Congrats on the big Ford sponsor. Nobody deserves it more. Seems I remember saying that Roxy would become a trailer queen race car. hmmmm Thanks for sharing.
Give "Texas Pride Trailers" in Madisonville a call. They helped out PFI Speed recently. Looks like a really quality trailer and a great bunch of people.
I just got a kick out of your niece getting the call to bring her "tiny little arm" to reach into the frame and recover the errant rubber bit that was hiding. My dad used to work in Anchorage Alaska in the early-mid 1950's. When he and his buddy from the Lincoln dealership would be working on something at home (often!!) I'd get the call to come out to the shop and bring my "skinny arm" with me (I was about 5 or 6 at the time). I could reach through the bars in the grill and pull the hood latch with a pair of vice-grips. That broken pull-wire was dangling in the wind and the old guys couldn't get their hands through the grill. I still work on cars and tractors and stuff with my dad, and he turned 95 last month. That sweet little girl will remember these times for the rest of her life and just love her Auntie Em and Uncle Aaron! Lucky Girl!!
I know you have finished the lift kit. For future I have had same issue on removing body mounts. If you can get to it a air hammer works well. AWESOME SCORE WITH FORD.Lets u sknow on how you like the truck, I am in the market for new truck and considering The new Ford too. Great job keep up good work.
Good to see the kid back. Love to see you two together. Give her a little hug, we missed her.
Your little shop helper she’s super adorable. It’s so cool to see younger kids helping in the shop
Glad to see Ford sponsorship you all deserve it. Love the Bronco build, thanks for the videos.
Congratulations on the Ford sponsorship, really enjoy seeing all your projects and the behind the scenes stuff. Great content!
Man this show warms my heart some. I love watching you teach the little munchkin how to wrench and I love the chemistry between you and Aaron, Emily. This show is real wholesome viewing and I love it to bits.
Hi From Australia. You guys are awesome. For Ford to support you, they clearly think so too. Keep up the great content.
You guys deserve it, Good things happen to good people. Big shout out to Aaron Kaufman , still my favorite mechanic.
Ok, PB Blaster is super, but for really frozen engine pistons, bolts, brake lines, try Iodine off the shelf at local $ dollar stores, you will thank me, but I don't need but a smile once you try this,,,It's old school, and works, Bear
Fun with the kids never gets old!

Wow!!! My hat is off to the folks at Ford Motor Company for knowing a great thing when they see it!!
Awesome! Great to see your child interested and involved with this project, she will be a great adult and knowledgeable. Great for you all!
I found a pickle fork worked well for me separating those body mounts. Discovered after hours of frustration. Congrats on the new truck.
"When the bolts are in the lift, drop it like it's hot!" -Emily.

Betty is most definitely coming along nicely. And Ford coming on board is totally awesome also.
shes so adorable.... you guys are just so warm and fun loving.
Just proves that good things happen to good people. So happy for you two !
Quite possibly the best Flying Sparks Garage video yet! That kid is growing like a bad week, the Ford partnership...that is HUGE! And lots of good shop work here, Em, Aaron, keep up the good work folks, your doing a lot of good.
Good to see you have a little assistant helping around the shop who knows how to use the equipment. Have taught her well.

It’s so awesome to see how far your channel has come. The 450 is a great looking truck, and I can’t wait to see more on the bronco.
Travis Warehime Thanks soooo much, we appreciate the support and encouragement- it means so much!

Aaron Kaufman is a real deal hot rodder Richard on the other hand ,not so much.
Look into wedge shaped shims for the rear spring perches to help adjust the driveline angle.
They work just great! Aluminum ones don't rust.
Thank you for keeping it simple for the back yard mechanic. Also see if you if you can find a camping trailer and use the frame and build it the way you like.

Great job guy's. I don't know why you are not at 100.000+ subs yet. Love the content.
I have always enjoyed seeing your niece in the shop with you and they may make a collapsible steering shaft for a bronco of that year keep it up
I don't know if there is a Tractor Supply near you guys, but if there is. They sell nuts and bolts by the pound which is way cheaper than buying them by the each. They even have grade 8 nuts and bolts and stainless also.
lilorbie lilorbie That’s where we go too 😇
Nice to see the kid now and then, she's quite delish, useful & bright too, she might be after your job Emily.
You both are doing great. Down to earth and real.
I've got a 2020 F-350 dually and y'all are going to love it. 10 speed is awesome and the 6.7 has plenty of power
I know this is an old episode. I love your channel and shows, glad I found it. I'm going to forward it to my daughter, who just graduated HS and is going to college to study Engineering, but she likes cars since she got into a local car club. Thanks for the videos!!
25:00
That’s how I got the bug.
My uncle asked me to come into the shop to grab a socket he dropped into the frame. After I grabbed it he said you’re small here’s where it goes try and tighten it. And I think I stayed in there a good three hours that Saturday. Was so much fun!
I don't have any small kids next door and I them, sometimes! Coat hangers and magnets, here we go again.
Awesome! Good tips for when I do the body mounts on Jenny!
P'blaster is the best! Can't wait to get one of those adjustable straw ones 😀 Congrats on the truck!
You two guys are great, love you and good to see the kid back. She is getting big! Emily you are so dang cute!❤️
I am so envious of all the rust free vehicles out there. Looks like so much fun.
Our "rust free" cars look great until you open the doors and find out Fred Flintstone drove it.
No offense Aron and “Emy”😜 but the kid is the true star of the show 🤣🤣
Mbeezy 82 ABSOLUTELY!!!
Old showbiz saying. " Never work with kids or dogs."
Who is the kid? Relative? Neighbor? Lots of personality!
@@mikevaughn7743 Emily's niece, but also lives next door
Dang ya'll a big ol' Ford Dually!!! Great for you both!!!
Wow, Ford's on board! Congratulations, well deserved. Love your channel and your can do make do attitude. Love you guys, keep on keeping on. Cheers, Mark.
Holy cow!!! Awesome truck. Super happy for yous guys. Still loving the Bronco.
Congratulations on the Ford partnership. You guys deserve it for putting up consistent awesome videos.
That little girl is one smart cookie! That's amazing that she instinctually knows what needs to be done. She's a cutie, too. LOL. What a ham!
I'm sorry, but "you son of a biscuit eater" has to be the most adorable bit of cussing that I've heard in a while. Congrats on the Ford partnership! They made a great choice!
Lucky uses one that is cute when he is REALLY MAD!
"Cheese and Rice!"
Milwaukee Corded Sawzall long enough stroke to make super quick work of body bushings. The 18v battery Sawzall is also nice but when brute force is needed use the cord
Congratulations! Ford made a great decision to partner with a great couple!!
Please tell me you used bigger washers under the bolt heads for the body mounts. Those small ones that came with the kit don't spread the load out enough and will soon rip the sheet metal
Great video again. Thanks for a great channel to watch. 👍🏻😎
Partners w/Ford! That's AWESOME 👍
This one gave me ALL the feels! The Kid is growing so fast! And you two together....OH MY!
Ford Motor Company just jumped way up in my books ! No Hockey pucks for Betty... straight into the good stuff ! Great days to y'all : ]
You are awesome and I love to watch each episode.
The kid is so cute and funny!
I hope I can have a little helper one dag.
And really nice to see Ford coming onboard, I like that truck too.
Between you, Aaron and the dog adding the mini super model you channel should pass 1 million by Independence Day.
Food for thought , but I always spray paint my bolt's and nut's including washers with clear satin , Good Vid, The Bronco off road can't be beat lol Now the Question is does the transfer
case/trans fits ?? Tent city it for 2 days then get a hotel and a shower, then back to 2 days camping, (unless it Rains) You get to see America in a different and Better way camping.

Sure appreciate you being here, and loving it so much!!! Hold out on hope, there’s someone awesome out there for you!!!
Nice team work on the Bronco. Gonna be a runner for sure.
I hope Aaron gets to dedicate some time for an instrument upgrade. Best thing he could for for you both.
Congrats on the big Ford sponsor. Nobody deserves it more.
Seems I remember saying that Roxy would become a trailer queen race car. hmmmm
Thanks for sharing.
Give "Texas Pride Trailers" in Madisonville a call. They helped out PFI Speed recently. Looks like a really quality trailer and a great bunch of people.

The kid is a natural! Congrats on the Ford colab!
The kid is growing like a backyard weed, smart too . Thanks great show, good luck with Ford.
The kid is AWESOME! So chill and laid back!
I love the way you guys work together
I know you have finished the lift kit. For future I have had same issue on removing body mounts. If you can get to it a air hammer works well. AWESOME SCORE WITH FORD.Lets u sknow on how you like the truck, I am in the market for new truck and considering The new Ford too. Great job keep up good work.
