It's beautiful! We've enjoyed learning about it (and Palladio) as part of our homeschool.
Anyone know how the dome got truncated from what was shown on the drawing? Was it cost, or construction decision or esthetic.
A different architect completed the dome
Fortunate that it did. Much better proportions with the lower dome.
