This helped immensely. Thanks! My element has been replaced. The sheet metal definitely won the battle - thank God I am not on blood thinners or this would have been a blood bath. Thanks, again - your thoroughness is much appreciated.

Just fixed it! Thanks for the video, and another big thanks for using the exact same model dryer I have! Great tutorial. I've never taken a dryer apart before.

Thanks for the video! I just fixed my heating element. The biggest headache was putting back the drum belt

thank you. You said it doesn't matter which way the wires go on the heating element, what about the other 2 components of the heat system? I accidentally unplugged the thermistor and thermostat without taking note.

Is there a way to test the element without removing all the internal parts as done in the video?

Very good question in this case of course yes you can use multimeter set on ohm or continuity tone to test it thank you for asking

Seriously, this is not a good design. This is not an uncommon repair. This should be designed and located to be replaced via a removable panel in the shell.

It is insane that one needs to dismantle the whole dryer to pieces just to access a couple of fuses. You would think there should ba a fuse panel in the back. Samsung wants you to go and just buy a new dryer.

Video was painful to watch. Really need to watch every screw all the way out and then all the way back in?
