    Extending a hand to your friend with ADHD requires understanding, patience, and mutual respect. First, educate yourself about ADHD to dispel myths and understand its impact on various aspects of life. Practice active listening to provide a safe space for your friend to share their experiences. Be adaptable and patient when they forget plans or become overwhelmed. Collaborate on strategies to help them manage tasks and offer reminders when necessary. Celebrate their strengths and accomplishments, as ADHD also brings unique perspectives and creativity. Finally, establish boundaries to ensure a balanced, reciprocal friendship. Supporting your ADHD friend is about recognizing their individuality and walking alongside them in their journey.
