Episode 7 of my Fiat Ducato Campervan build. in this episode its building a kitchen worktop from solid birch planks and installing a JP diesel hob/heater.

Coming on nicely , wouldn’t worry about how long the kettle takes to boil, you could always put it on half hour before arriving, just drive carefully?

Cheers, good point. The van has cruise control so I will activate that and sit in the back and hold the kettle on the hob.
