Hey man just curious I fish around chokoloskee area in small creeks like yourself and everytime I get up in the creeks the tarpon get spooked, how do you stop them from getting spooked? For reference I fish from a 15ft Jon boat

Nothing wrong with landing the fish by hand but I’d recommend going for the mouth instead of the line. I’ve lost some big fish by going for the line and it’s hard to watch.😭 Besides that, great video!

Hey I’ve been looking at the vanford reel. I noticed you said you have a 3000 size. I have a couple 3000 sized Reels and was looking for another reel. What would you recommend? I am leaning towards the 2500 size. Just wanted some input.
And also if you don’t mind telling me what type of star rod is that?
Vanford is definitely the way to go and I’m not really sure on the specs of the rod will go over it in next upload

Depending on the net , the net can actually hurt fish. Handling is better for the fish usually.
@@bryankeating8440 that's true for the most part I guess. The only fish I would never net is a trout cause of their slimmy coat they have. Most other have hardy scales. Just my opinion
