- Making your own layered cardstock designs is super easy and I love using Design Space to do it. The contour function is a lifesaver for this type of design! What I love is you can combine elements from other designs as well to really make them your own!
This is a great beginner tutorial using the functions of weld, slice and contour as well using the perforation tool in Cricut Design Space. You can do this type of design with any of your Cricut machines which makes it great for all crafters! And using different elements and candy you can do this for any holiday!

Too cute!!! Thanks Corinne.
Your instructions were pretty easy to follow, mine turned out pretty good. Thanks for showing us how to make him
New here and new to owning a cricut. Love how you explain your tutorial step by step and explaining everything to make it very understandable.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment!
He's so adorable thank you for sharing
Thank you I got the design space part done now I'm going to try and cut everything out.... you made it soooooo easy.
Such a cute ideal
Thank you so much for adding the glue part, Im trying to make valentine teddy bears for my daughter's class and I was ready to throw everything away, lol! Thank you, I have some hope for tomorrow when I try again.
Wow! Thank you so much for this video!
Adorable I love it.😊
Thanks for your detailed video!
So very cute! Learned so much from the video!
Such a GREAT tutorial! Thank you so much!

Very cute. Great tutorial 👌🏾
Love love it ❤😊
Thank you for another great video. I learn a lot from you.
I made my first one for Thanksgiving! I ended up ordering a slightly bigger ornament because my nephews LOVE KitKats and the mini ones won't fit in here and still have room for any Reese's. That is a travesty! LOL THANK YOU for such a GREAT tutorial! I am hooked now!
Pooh Refic.. lol I love it ..
So cute thanks!! I learn new things today😉🤗
I’m so glad!
Very cleaver
This was awesome I am going to be making one for the grandkids. I wish you had shown how to get to the candy with tearing the back out. I want to do the refillable kind. Also with DS changes I get confused on the new features like subtract etc. Thanks learn a lot keep bringing those awesome videos.
I didn’t want to destroy this as I did give it as a gift. It’s got a perforated back to it’s just like anything perforated you just pop it open. You can still do everything I show in this video as it doesn’t use any of the new features and all the only features are still there. I have a video that shows all the new updates. Anytime we have a new significant update I make sure to do videos showing those new features. I hope those videos are helpful! Enjoy making your grandkids candy holders! I know they will love them!
@@CorinneBlackstone thanks for replying back now all I need to do is figure out how to do a wheel so you can just turn it to open a little to retrieve the candy and then add more. Than you
And you can "absolutely do it on your silhouette too🤗🤗"
Love this video!! How can I make a perforated/cut circle like you have on my Explore 3?
Thank you learned a lit
Loved this...do 6ou have any suggestions for animal Easter projects like this...never really sure where to begin in choosing an image...I would like to do a basket one as ...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
Here are some premade super cute ones for Easter designbundles.net/risa-rocks-it/2438178-easter-candy-dome-holder-svg-file-trio?ref=ddMZ1K
❤️🤗👍🏼
Can you do a Mother’s Day version of this?
I love this video and idea. Thank you for a very informative video. I am trying to do the same with a dinosaur but I can't get it to fill the color. When I try to add color it only changes the outline. Help, please.....
Without seeing the image its hard for me to tell you what you are doing wrong but if I had to guess the image may not have solid lines which will cause it not to work with contour. You can join my Facebook group and post the image there so we can see it better
May i ask what size is the actual image. I love this tutorial
Thanks in advance
He’s a little under 10 inches I don’t recall the exact measurements
Quick question if you have the explorer how do you do the scoring? On the back piece?
You can’t perforate there isn’t a tool for that. You can make a dashed cut line by just using a line and making a bunch of small ones and creating the circle that way
Hi, love this tutorial but your card stock link is taking me to the glue 😅 can you share what cardstock you used?
This is what I use go.magik.ly/ml/212a5/
How do you get the perforate operation? I only have basic cut available.
It’s under the next section under operations but only available for makers
Im a beginner with a question? Im trying to make the candy domes. Do you need a certain blade like preforation one to make these? Thanks I really think theyre stinking cute 😂
You’ll notice in the video that I do speak on the perforation blade and how you can use that but you do not have to. There are several options where you can find a dotted line circle that the cricut could cut or you can just make it a score line and the person it’s for can cut it open
Thank You kindly!
these ornaments are not in stock anymore what could you suggest? And where did you get the little Winnie the Pooh from?
These are the same amzn.to/3SOckmL
And its just an image from google.
Hi there, just wondering if all these actions can be done on an IPad?
Yes this entire tutorial can be done on the ipad
So does the Cricut Explorer 3 not have the perforation option?
No it does not
What Cricut machine do you use? I want to purchase one but not sure which one to get.
This was done with the maker I have all the machines and for the money the maker is the best bang for your buck
@@CorinneBlackstone Thank you so much I appreciate your response.
Where did you get your glue from?
Amazon
Using an iPad but I don’t think it has all the options as you do. I can get Winnie to the all black part but I have no “layers” picture of each piece, can’t separate the shirt and then can’t go any further
I think I got it! iPad just skips a step. Must be a ds upgrade or so ething
Quick question...his face...was that cut...or printed...sorry...Newby here
It’s all cut
My goodness I am having a hard time going back and forth between my iPad and your computer in the video. How many layers are we supposed to have total
Black, red, yellow, gray, pink, should be your layers. This is one of many reasons I don’t use the app for design space. It’s extremely frustrating to work with a lot of times
@@CorinneBlackstone so is there a different app to use
I also think it is because on an iPad you can’t select layers and click and drag them together. Maybe
@@brendabreton2954 not for your phone or iPad no. I recommend using a computer so you’re using the full design space software
Thank you. These are great tutorials. Thanks for all your hard work
Where did you get the Winnie Pooh file from
Google
