Makes me miss my old Deuce. Something that would help that 5 ton a lot would be to add a fifth wheel weight, only like 2-4 hundred pounds. You would have to start at say 200 pounds and then add if you still are getting the hop on the rear drives. Not a must but it does keep the tires on the ground and doesn't beat the truck or driver half to death. Awesome stuff, I remember those day's all to well.

Would you suggest to through his spare over the tandems or hang it off the back Baja style? Idk I've never ran one of these trucks.
