- Simple Modern 40 oz Tumbler Review! Is it better than the Stanley? Is it worth it?
Today I'm sharing my honest thoughts after using this water bottle myself.
In this video I review whether or not your water stays ice cold and for how long. And I also share my opinions on other features including:
- is it easy to clean?
- how is the straw?
- does it leak?
- does it fit in cup holders? Stroller and car?
And finally... which one do I recommend? Simple Modern vs Stanley

I've tried at least 4 brands, kept the simply modern. It by far keeps ice the coolest, is the sleekest, and most comfortable to carry.
Definitely such a good brand! Love their products😄
You could also get a "not a Stanley" sticker on it😄

I got this Simple Modern Trek 40oz this past Black Friday for half the price of the Stanley and I like their corporate responsibility so much
I’ve had their 30oz Cruiser tumbler with my college logo UCF for 10 years and it has held up great

I have a 30oz and a 24oz and they are really good and by the way the 24oz does not leak threw the straw
And the 24oz is still pretty big so yeah

May I ask what is the straw made of ? And how often we need to change it ?
Huh, so it's completely sealed? That means there's no way for air to displace the liquid you're trying to suck up, thus making it more difficult to suck. Do they have some kind of one-way check valve in the lid to prevent this?
Nope. I have one. I have no issues drinking it at all. It is my favorite of all the ones I've tried. Keeps ice solid forever.

Do you really use bottled water to refill a reusable water cup?
Some people, (such as myself) don't have access to clean tap water. I have well water and it's tested positive for EColi and other bacteria. It's also very hard water so using a filter would not be practical.
I usually just put my water in a tumbler like this to keep it cold. (Believe me if I could drink my tap water I would.)
