- In this video I review the Owala Stainless Steel Traveler Tumbler. I talk about it compared to the Stanley tumbler, the Yeti Traveler Tumbler mug, and the Hydroflash 32 oz flask. I talk about it’s overall fit and finish and it’s curved design. I talk about it’s ergonomic handle as well as it’s ease to fit in a cup holder. I also show how easy it is to clean with a quick removal seal and easy to pour lid. I also show how superior the Owala’s lid is to being water tight compared to the Stanley’s lid. In total the overall improvements of the Stanley make this one of the top options when looking for a 40 oz, cup holder ready Tumbler with a handle.

Great comparison video bro--had it not been for you I would be sitting with a Stanley right now and not the Owala I purchased after watching this video. Much appreciated!
Thank you my friend for a fantastic review! You pretty much sold me on this. I was considering jumping on the Stanley wagon until I came across your video. You saved me because you hit on every key feature that out performed the Stanley. Great job!
Just purchased one of these at 70%off after my contigo died on me 😢 found your review after to see if this was a good buy or not. Can’t wait to try it out tmw 🎉🎉 thanks for your detailed review
I don’t have the 40oz Owala tumbler but I do have a 35oz Yeti, 40oz Simple Modern and 40oz Stanley. The Yeti outer coating is by FAR the most durable! My Simple Modern and Stanley scratch very easily however my Simple Modern held ice several hours longer than my Yeti and Stanley. I tested with equal grams of ice alone and with equal grams of ice and water (straws in) and in both tests, the Simple Modern won. I do love my Owala 24oz Free Sips and wanted to see this review regarding the 40oz tumbler. Ease of cleaning thoroughly is very important to me so I’m glad you talked about that in detail. Who wants to one day find mold in their drinking vessel?! Thank you!
Great video! I have a Stanley, Hydrojug, etc but my go to now is Owala. They make the best tumblers. The freesip is amazing, even have one for my toddler.
I have this style coming today and excited. Owala is the best hands down.
Imo tbey have mastered the tumbler
Keep the awesome content coming!!! I’ll see you in the next awesome video!!!!
Looking at this tumbler as a christmas gift for my dad, I have a 40oz Stanley so I wanted to get something similar for him.
Thanks for the multiple compairsons!! :)
I would recommend the Yeti. The Owala in my personal use had the Handel just pop off. I meant to make a long term video explaining this.
Also the hydroflask cup is nice
I have the 24 oz sip/chug owala cup and love it. This one would be awesome for ice coffee and flavored water drinks i like to make.
if you like flavored water drinks, you should try cirkul
Blade HQ sticker ftw!
I was on the fence and getting ready to buy a bigger cup to increase my water intake!! I have the free sip owala water bottles but I wanted something bigger for in the car. I was getting ready to buy a Stanley or a Brumate despite not really loving them. I saw this review and I was sold and went and bought my cup today!! Thank you so much. You helped a lot!!!
Have never seen any hype for the Owala. Everything seems to veer towards the Stanley for the “it” cup. I own all but the Owala but my favorite in this style is the RTIC.
Hi, thanks for the review. Is it possible to remove the sliding portion of the lid to better clean underneath it?
Yes it's removable
@@arinamoiseihow do you remove it?
@@atheosaurus4116 just slide it forward toward the other side of the lid
I like new Owala tumbler cup that is my Favorite
Colors and i loved it so
Much and can put ice
With coffee soda powder mix drinks
Nice detail and presentation. Thanks for the very informative video! Maybe you should consider becoming a Brand Ambassador for Owala?
Do you know the exact color name for that Hydroflask? Thanks!
Is it spill proof?
Check out the BOGI Tumbler
I had the 40 oz. Owala and the handle screws kept getting loose and the handle snapped off.
Owala isn't super new (it's blenderbottle's rebranded Hydroflask-esque hydration brand)
