I know they want to keep the sets more detailed and use less and less bigger parts for some reason, but I wish they could go back to having closed back Creator houses. Imagine how good this set could be if it had a closed back and a front yard with a driveway or something. I know, Lego probably argues that you could buy two of these and use your creativity to make your own version of that, which is fine, but I miss those old creator houses that were the complete package. It also bothers me that there are no stairs. They were also cheaper because they didn't come with minifigures and furniture which I didn't mind. But I get that at this point it would feel off if these didn't come with interior details because they've steered Creator away from that sort of thing.
i miss the older creator house sets. those models were city/moc drop in ready. i think lego is making these more for play like a dollhouse style build.
I'm so sorry you had such a bad experience with this set. I've just built mine (it released 1st June the UK) and I think it's one of the best sets I have bought this year. I had no scratched pieces. I had none of the issues making it fragile and I think it's really solid build. The only fragile part is the trees, but I have no problem picking it up, I don't even need to be gentle with it. And the actual build was brilliant, making it in three separate parts and then the ground, which all then join together... just GREAT! It's a 9.5/10 from me !
I spotted a few ‘audio’ questions on a few videos. I’d strongly recommend the Rode Wireless Gos. Great sound and affordable wireless lav that’ll definitely give a deeper depth to your audio. Lovely review as always, thank you for doing it. I’ve waited on a new modular creator 3in1 for ages.
LEGO program sent you this correct? So you had a sticker on the box saying, NOT FOR RESALE? I have to assume regular production for retail world wide, they should give you better new conditioned clear pieces for the windows. It would be nice of the multi-billion dollar LEGO company to manufacture the adhesive film on the clear plastic pieces so they don't get scratched. Didn't LEGO used to do that many years ago?
yes, lego did send me this set and is packaged in a typical retail box which i do prefer in terms of review. still to this day lego has not improved packaging transparent bricks. as for as i can remember, lego never did have a protective film over transparent parts. i don't remember getting tons of scratched parts in older sets. honestly, more expensive sets need to be packaged better. dropping 100 bucks into a build that comes in this condition is unacceptable. i'll stop now because i'll go into full blown rant mode lol!
How funny, I didn't know they had 6 by 6 windows in transparent. And many planks can be used to make a beautiful wooden floor And I think it's really good that they started with paper bags. I am what you will build from these pieces. 😊
Kind of puzzling. They give you a molded rubber ducky, but the parrot is pieces put together? I have seen molded multicolored parrots in other sets, but they couldn't give you one in this $100 retailed set?! It just sends me the message LEGO can be cheap here and there.
Poor Jay -- I can hear the frustration and disappointment in your voice. I like the set a lot, even though it's not as ornate as the Friends Castle Bed and Breakfast. The Creator Cozy House was even better than this Creator 3-in-One set, though, in my opinion.
Btw I preordered this set on 5th may (because 26th may is my name's day ) (in central Europe, primarily us Czechs, Slovaks and Poles - name's day is like a second smaller birthday(it's too complicated to write here, so use google) Btw I had a little trouble because on 13th may my money came back but my order is still running and mainly I didn't cancel anything,so I contacted customer service and they said everything is fine and they will deduct the money again when they send it

@@jaystepher Yeah and I wish they didn't because that's what the Friends sets are mostly for
I love this. I'm already thinking how I could moc this lol 😊
I love it. Im waiting on my set to arrive.

it's honestly a good build! i may have got a bad batch. i've knocked into the trees since the review and they are still holding up.
I Had big scratches in my recent builds aswell, but fortunately lego does give you free replacements If you send Them a Ticket
The inside looks nice and those palm trees at the front look good!👍
i like the design of the trees too. i may use that idea for an island moc.
i love that funky yellow chair, and the chandelier! so kooooool 😆✨
yeah, that chair would look great in a lego gaming moc.

Hi Jay, will you please do a LEGO Smart Toilet? Plz reply. Luis
Handy those paper bags, you can put them with the waste paper 😁👍
So getting this!
it's an interesting build
@@jaystepher It is fits with minidolls ?
Please do the other two models and review those too
i may just do that. it may be some time though as i have plenty of reviews to plow through.
I really hate those "trees" :S I would have preferred a single well build one than these things… IMO classic bushes would have been better :/
is this better of Friend's Andrea Modern mansion?
i can't compare it as i don't have andrea's mansion.

i like the 6x6 windows. great for greenhouses and large shop window displays.

you're right about the parrot. maybe lego wants us to buy the parrot separately.
It's a creator set. The animals are brick built. The rubber ducky isn't because it's supposed to be a rubber ducky
That “bathroom” is just weird!

i like the set. it's just the scratched and pitted windows i'm disappointment with.
Modern house without a proper bathroom!
1/10
Not a fan!!! Boring and minimalistic
thank for your honesty
