I met Ray at the 2005 American Century Championship at Lake Tahoe. I followed him and Brad Garrett for the final three or four holes and they had me cracking up the whole time with hilarious stuff. Then, when they got done with their round, a group of reporters gathered around them and they repeated all the same jokes they had just told me. I had never felt more fortunate in my entire life. I doubt either of them remembers that day, but I'll never forget it for as long as I live. I got a great clip out of it too for the Reno newspaper. :)
Me and one of my golf buds have adopted a couple of his reactions to a good golf shot, specifically from an episode of King of Queens when he and “Doug Heffernen” played a round in the pouring rain. Ray hit a shot and shouted….”Oh Babee!…Be it!!!” 😂😂😂
Ray Romano, Scott Bakul and Andre Braugher were a great cast. I think the show went about the perfect length though. It only lasted 2 seasons and a total of 22 episodes but anythi ng longer than that with that concept probably would've been overkill.
I'm pretending this is Ray long after the twins and Aly are in college having to do interviews as a sports writer in the modern day sports landscape lol
Get Shorty is his best role for my tastes. I didn't like the sitcom, but I don't like most sitcoms, as I think they are dumbed down television that has rotted many brains.
Yeah I'm glad they "went a different way" for NewsRadio, I don't think he would have fit. Not even saying about the character they worked out for Rogan, but I just don't see Ray's presence blending in well with the rest of the cast.

They used you as a test audience 😂 😂
@@RobVollat And I could'n't have been more excited. It was like I was getting a sneak preview before anyone else. ;)
Oh man...thats so cool.
A Ray Romano sitcom by any other name. Love the show love Raymond. Wish he'd do more.
1:12 I am Bulgarian, he actually pronounced Sofia correctly the first time. Very impressive, not many people know the correct pronunciation.
I really like this show. You all have excellent chemistry and I really enjoy the positive overall vibe.
It’s why I faithfully watch.
Great job! 👏🏻👍🏻👌🏻
great interview
Such a likable dude
His sitcom and just shoot me are my favorites
Men of a Certain Age, show he did after Raymond, great show

Man, love Ray.
Awesome!
I Love Raymond!I feel better and smile every time I see and hear him.
NewsRadio was so great and funny. Ray is funny by himself.
Everyone should watch NewsRadio
@@billmcnealofwnyxnewyorkRewatching it now 😂. Just started season 3
Loved his sitcom!
One of the most humble people in the industry...such a down to earth guy.
Everybody I knew loved Raymond!
Capital of Liechtenstein is Vaduz. 4 out of 5
I think he mixed up with Luxembourg
I knew that and was surprised they didn't call him on that.
The country of Lichtenstein is spelled Lichtenstein.

Liechtenstein
@@hokieduck We don't spell Italy "Italia"
I love the quote from his brother.
When Ray was on Letterman, Dave was extremely complimentary towards Ray
Letterman is the one who effectively gave him his show. Ray's deal was with WorldWide Pants.
@@gheller2261 It's all discussed in this video. No one actually watches these videos.
Letterman strikes again ! Luv it. 😁
The capitals thing is awesome.
I'm surprised Rich didn't key in on Kinshasa, October 1974 The Rumble in the Jungle, Ali v Forman.
I'm pretending this is Ray long after the twins and Aly are in college having to do interviews as a sports writer in the modern day sports landscape lol
The segment is called true or false, but there is never a false.
I've seen a couple of false ones. And there are partially true ones as well, as I just saw with Danny Devito's interview.
They brought in another actor, fired HIM, then hired Rogan..
Lots of true icons.
Raymond in the Middle
Joe Rogan wasn't in the pilot for Newsradio. He replaced a different guy, who may have replaced Ray, but Joe didn't replace Ray.
Vaduz
That’s a photographic memory. You can tell by the pause and searching.
He looks great for 66
2:54. Strange because even in the pilot of news radio was a different actor who then got replaced by joe rogan in the second episode
Minsk not Minks
Capital of Liechtenstein is Vaduz. Just sayin'...
...and he mispronounced the capital of Belarus.
4 out of 5 bro
The Capital of Lichtenstein is Vaduz...
the only person in the tv show that loved ray was his ma, they should have called it 'ma loves raymond'
I watched NewsRadio and don’t recall Joe Rogan being in it. Think Ray got the better end of that deal.
Joe is the maintenance guy
How is that possible?!
He’s in it. Take my word for it.
Everybody Loves Raymond but Everybody Hates Chris 🤔
It all started with I Love Lucy
Yeah so?
Honestly Rogan was a better choice for that role.
Before everyone knew who he really is
You could tell me he’s Patrick Mahomes father, and I’d believe you.
Just by the sound of the voice.
Kermit The Frog is his uncle
@@dwillard670 Al Michaels is his father.
He's wrong, Vaduz is the capital of Liechtenstein.
Everybody loves Rogan.
Everybody loves Ray Romano cheese
I wish I was dumb then I would have 200 million dollars 💸
The capital of Liechtenstein is Vaduz...
So Ray's kinda a funny Rain Man ?
Men of a Certain Age was also a great show. It should have lasted.
Sòfia is actually correct
This is what old style education did for u!!!!
These are far too short

Does this guy ever age?
Everone hates Chris
Ray says he's the dumbest person that knows this but little does he know that Bam Margera can do the exact same thing.
You should have asked Ray Romano for the capitals of Mongolia and Eritrea😏😏,
I knew all the ones he did.
Come on comet
Ray is often a bore. Every once in a while he's funny but often tedious.
ultra mediocre guy is like seinfeld lite with less clever humor. Ray sux
Capital of Liechtenstein 🇱🇮🇱🇮 is Vaduz.
