I love his dog laying there at his feet
So glad Dennis took Breaking Away. I was ten years old when I saw that in the theater. It was the first movie I saw that was not a kid movie and I still love that film today.
Dennis is a national treasure.
Some people lead enchanted lives. Dennis Quaid is among them. Great actor!
"Sacrifice, don't give up the fight / Everything will be alright / On any given sunday". Love Dennis Quaid !
Dennis seems like he'd be that one friend's "cool dad" who always has a story to tell. Just seems so normal and down-to-earth for a Hollywood actor which is super refreshing to see. Appreciate his movies, too. Neat clip.
Dennis is the Man. Gordo Cooper to the stars! Best sh!t eatin grin in Hollywood history.
Im 50, watched Breaking Away 14:57 DoH when they were first on television.
I've rewatched Breaking Away several times in my life. I consider it a gem. One of the best of all time.
I haven't watched DoH since i was that 8-9 y/o kid.
You made the right call, Mr. Quaid.
He had a small, but critical part. His monologue about being a young football star is a gem.
Breaking Away was such an incredible movie. It wouldn’t have been the same without Dennis.
Dennis Quaid is a great actor! One of my favorite movies he did was Enemy Mine (1985).
Yes 🎉 that is one of two movies I have seen of his. The other was one called inner space (I think was the name, I saw them both as a kid) he was shrunk along with a spaceship and injected into Martin short for some reason 😂
@@DonovenGreythat movie was awesome! Ridiculous but awesome
Just watched Parent Trap 98 yesterday
Happy belated b-day Dennis
He made the right choice -Breaking Away a classic cool coming of age movie when I was coming of age . I bought my first pretty little French ten speed because of that movie !
Great interview Rich.
Cool to hear all these stories ftom Dennis Quaid
I ran into Dennis Quaid with his son about 20 years ago on a beach in Ontario, Canada. His son was just a young buck at the time. He grew up to be an actor in Star Trek: Lower Decks.
Could watch these guys trade stories all day
I could have listened to an hour more of these guys talking! What a great guy!!
Most interesting true/false ever
My dad was a security guard at the stadium and worked that night. For the rookie.
Such a great actor for so long and seems like a regular type guy!
He's definitely not someone who reminds you of anyone else~
Maybe Aidan Quinn but he was only a decent actor for 10ish yrs~
One of the better True and False Q&A that I have seen lately. Well done. Appreciate Dennis not simply giving a “yes” and moving on. Great context behind each answer.
Dennis Quaid is awesome
He was amazing in “Great Balls of Fire”.
And my favorite of his is “Innerspace”.
You need to bring him back for more stories. Great actor. Frequency
Great interview
My father flew and qualified in 31 different types of aircraft and several different Helicopter models He was a U.S. Naval Aviator and his name was also Dennis
Great interview!!!
Great stories!
Love this guy
The first movie I watched and knew it was Dennis Quaid was Dreamscape and then Enemy Mine. Afterwards, I rented the Right Stuff.
Great segment
Cool stories, have long enjoyed his work.
The Blue Angels actually don't wear G-suits, because the constant inflation/deflation of the suit can cause the pilot's arm holding the stick to move slightly and affect the flight of the jet.
Super cool part of the interview
I watch The Right Stuff at least once a year. It's maybe the best movie ever made. Great interview
Better than Goodfellas?
“Any Given Sunday” is an excellent film.
"Any Given Sunday"
@@liquidmagma Thanks. Fixed it. All the best.
@@chrisweidner4768 It was just a very small case fyi.
That was great.
Love DQ’s movies!
Not sure Any given Sunday is the best football movie. A lot of tough competition in that category such as Remember the Titans, We are Marshall, Rudy, North Dallas 40, The Blind Side… I watched AGS again recently, with my son and I thought it was good but needed to be edited more. Too much dialogue in some parts.
Breaking Away is a fantastic movie
When he said he could have been either Duke - Eisen should have said, "Even Daisy?"
Any Given Sunday is my favorite football movie
McKenna! You gotta put your head on a swivel💯😁
Favorite actors, Duval #1 for me, Quaid 1a. I really have enjoyed his recent films.
I watched his one movie Tough Enough bout him in a tough man contest bunch of times . Enemy mine . The rookie Dreamscape switchback etc
Love seeing a puppy dog on the set.
Get Innerspace 2 in production. ❤️ childhood was hooked to that film
Most people don’t like The Missouri Breaks, if they even know about it, but I like it. Nicholson and Brando were next door neighbors for decades and only did one movie together. The Last Detail is a great movie, I like it so much I own the Blu-ray.
He was talking about golf and he thought he was talking about playing football lol
Dennis is great......first time i've watched him in a lengthy innterview,......Dennis, tell Randy i said Hi....😅...!!
those dog movies were good too
5:40 Chuck Yeager was as great and daring a flyer as you'd ever find. Test pilot level 1000! o
Dan Marino likes to be in movies and around movies. He was in Ace Ventura, Bad Boys 2 and another one I cant thinknof
Any Given Sunday is one of the greatest sports movies.
One of my favourite movies of ALL time. The editing so raw, so cool.
It’s not perfect, but I love Stone’s ambition.. He’s a brilliant filmmaker, and it’s a very very good movie..
The Rookie was the best ever movie.
I love any and all BB movies, but The Rookie and MR Baseball are my favorites.
Then comes Major League, Bull Durham, and many others.
love quaid in right stuff and any given sunday. i heard he is a rude party nut sometimes afterhours when playing gigs with his band, but on screen, love the guy.
Cap Rooney......my favorite football movie ever
I created a QB for the Chicago Bears in Madden 17 on the ps4. I named that QB Jack Rooney!! 🙂
For someone with motion sickness "Any Given Sunday" was notvworth the throwup😄
Just was thinking of watching Stripes ...
There's a dog on the floor
Peaches🐾;
his beloved English Bulldog ❣️❤️🥰
"I don't get strokes, I give em" jim brown 👏
08:36 😂😅🤣🤣
I heard the reason he didn't take the role in the Dukes was because he wanted his girlfriend at the time to play Daisy. So he told them he'd do it but only if they hired her too but Catherine had already been cast so he declined.
I was today years old when I learnd that Dennis Quaid was marrid to PJ Soles. I had a massive crush on her back in the day.
Now he is with someone 40 years younger lol
Can we get an Any Given Sunday II in 2024?
I wish DQ hadn't had plastic surgery or botox or whatever got rid of that unique smile. With age i thought his natural wrinkles would age like fine wine; too long in California, i guess. I wish he embraced the gray-haired aging version of himself.
Like Clint Eastwood? Just go with the role that fits your face.
Thumbnail looks like Jack Nicholson’s Joker

With Dennis Quaid's statement, does this kickoff a ranking of Best Football Movie, Ever?
I am old, so Jim Thorpe, All-American and North Dallas Forty are my first candidates.
Don't forget, Marx Bros. "Horse Feathers", nor "The Longest Yard". Any Given Sunday, Rudy
#1 North Dallas Forty
2 Any Given Sunday
because they are centrally, about the game
3 Remember the Titans
4 Varsity Blues
5 Jim Thorpe, All-American
6 The Longest Yard
7 Rudy and Brian's Song tie
9 Horse Feathers
10 Jerry Maguire
hon mention to "All the Right Moves" with Tom Cruise. Potential to usurp #3 Titans, but unrealized by Hollywood bs.
That’s a dog on the floor !
Innerspace
"Tuck Pendleton, zero defects!"
Why is Brockman's mic always so loud? Are they scared we might miss an actual valid statement that he makes every month or so? His fake laugh is so annoying.
Preach man, preach!
A couple thoughts.. The Last Detail is an excellent movie.. I definitely recommend if you can find it?..
But those Quaid boys from just down the street (I’m a Houstonian) are my guys.. Dennis will always be Gordo in my mind, and I just wanna get drunk or stoned with Randy… Just once..
He was great in the rookie
I think "Remember The Titans" has the best cinematography and makes you feel like you are in the action. "Any Given Sunday" went way overboard with the guy sawing the car in half, the alligator in the shower, and the eyeball falling out on the field. The jerseys alone will tell you it is a fantasy.
Blue Angels don’t use G suits in their demo
Is that a dog 🐕 on the ground next to Dennis or that's a stuff/toy animal?
Peaches🐾;
his English Bulldog❣️❤️🥰✌️
Real American man
Like bill Clinton. Southern conservatives are the best
He'd have been great as a Duke brother but yeah. Breaking Away.
Is this really what this dude STILL looks like?!?
The Longest Yard (1974) was the best football movie ever made.
North Dallas Forty was pretty good.
I have to disagree with Dennis Quaid. Remember the Titans was the best football movie ever made. And it’s not close.
No it’s too corny and unrealistic. AGS is the best. A close second I’d Friday Night Lights
@@philipflores2515 remember the Titans is realistic. It is based on a true story that actually happened.
How in the hell can you call something unrealistic when it really did happen.
@@shackdaddy7106 It is a beautiful story..... but it is Hollywood. Watch the DVD with commentary. The actual coaches talk about the changes. Don't get me wrong. It is a great movie.
@@Redmenace96 Hollywood always changes movies that are based on true stories for entertainment value. but it is still a true story. While a movie like any given, Sunday was made up totally from scratch.
@@shackdaddy7106 the football sciences are horrible. None of them even looked like they could play
What? He's 70?!
May want a mulligan on the Jim Brown comment
8 gs at 500 mph i call "pants shitter"
Never knew he was married to PJ Soles. She was a cutie.
Thanks for removing the thought that he had passed.
Looks like he's doing great!
He doesn't look like himself any more
Couldn't just age gracefully. He had to f his face up.
Thumbs down. Not for the content. But for the algorithm. Click on a vid you might like. Get a questionnaire. Do questionnaire. And within 5 seconds of the the goddamn video starting, you get an advert break.... Oh well. Too bad
Dude mouth looks like the Jokers in Batman (Jack Nicholson) Bad plastic surgery
Nothing on Enemy Mine? or GBOF? also, stop with the Botox and hair dye, you're starting to look like Mel Gibson
No one tells you what to do with your life
Great guy, but being married to the gorgeous P.J. Soles makes me want to not like you.
Lest we forget that the great human being that Jim Brown was considered was a wife beater. Be careful when canonizing athletes.
Can you be a great human and inspire millions.... but also get in physical conflict with a woman? Yes.
Mahattmah Ghandi also had a problematic personal life.
This guy works steadily, but he makes movies no one sees. he had a big hit in 2004 ("The Day After Tomorrow"), but most of his movies fade into oblivion. Every once in a while his publicist will drag his name into the news and try to get him some attention. Usually to talk about his past cocaine addiction. Can't figure out why he's on Eisen's show. He's likeable, but there must be something off about him that Hollywood doesn't cast him in premiere roles.
He's not a full blown flaming liberal
A terrible actor who just happens to be in good movies / scripts etc
something tells me he's driving General Lee right now, being that Dennis is a MAGA clown.
Jim Brown beat women. He wasn't one of the best human beings on Earth. And he wasn't as good as Barry.
Jim Brown actually accomplished something. Barry accomplished nothing. And most likely beat women himself. Stop it with the bullshit.
