Still sounds like there's an issue. She sounds like she's hitting a Rev limiter up top. I would check out the metering spring in the carb and also check the plug.
Going to be hard to check all that considering I just did a full rebuild with an ESP championship ported top end 😏😉 But yes you're right in this video there was still an issue... And I for the life of me could not figure it out I tried richer I tried leaner... The only thing I didn't try was a new plug and regapping the coil Took out the spiral diaphragm because the gaskets in it looked like they were starting to fall apart... Put the stock diaphragm and arm back in got it to run good on high-end but after bringing it in it would constantly have a high idle no matter how rich I put the low speed needle.... the rovan is just over a year old and as somebody who started out having no idea what I was doing is probably worn out so I just posted a video rebuilding it Next week's video will be a full run on the new engine 😁.... And it's a monster
That was my first thought. But then I considered that it may pull heat away from the engine and affect the carburetor. Hot fuel creates less power so therefore I went with a plastic manifold to try and prevent heat transfer
Great tip from mr Alan to make sure if there's a air leak. Thanks for sharing.
No prob 👍
That's sweet buggie I'll get mi old 5th scale redcat out tomorrow n kick up some rocks
That’s a cool looking machine mate 👍
Thank you

Should've got a alloy manifold

@@mikesdungeon8398 u get white plastic gaskets so it doesn't heat transfer
@@diytypeofguy6502 oh I didn't know that, maybe I'll upgrade to an aluminum one in the future
