  • The former Southern Pacific Toledo Branch in 1996 was operated by the Willamette & Pacific Railroad which ran a daily train from Albany over the Coast Mountain Range to Toledo, primarily to serve the large mill in Toledo.
    This video was taken in February 1996 between Wrens (now called Wren) and Summit.

    P&W should've kept it like this, nowadays the trains barely go over 10mph on most of the branch, even parts that used to be 25mph outside Philomath got reduced to just 10mph.

      Too many derailments. Made it easier being 10 mph
