- In today's video, I will show you how to transfer designs from a computer to an embroidery machine. I'll also go over how you download embroidery designs for brother machines. I use a brother se1900 but this tutorial can be used by anyone.

Thank you. You were able to answer my ? If I could use my Mac to download to a jump drive then to the brother sewing machine. In all my reading it tells me brother sewing machines are incompatible with Mac products.

What about for fonts for a name?
Why arent all the diff. sizes showing on my downloads like yours? The files from Embroidery Library says PES, then somehow changes to jpg

Hi. I truly appreciate your video. I have a macbook air and the SE1900. I also purchased files from ETSY. Your video explained it all. However, my SE says it doesn't recognize my USB stick. What USB stick do you use?
I use a Sandisk ultra flash drive

is there a reputable seller on etsy you can recommend for embroidery designs/fonts?
For fonts on Etsy I usually use AppleDumplinDesign.Etsy is kind of a gamble I would just read the reviews and check the description before purchasing. Or I go on stitchtopia.com there fonts are good.

No you don’t need a software

No I haven’t but I’ll check them out.
When you choose your design I thought we had to extract the file, which turned out to be complicated. The way you did it is very easy. When do i have to extract and compress? Please help me out, I have spent over 1 week on this. Greatly appreciated.
Are you referring to a zip file ? Or digitizing a image ?
i would appreciate if you can help me out. I have a mac. i downloaded a 500+ embroidery designs on etsy. When I downloaded it all onto my files it wont let me open. Its on a Zip file. I just want to be able to take a look at all the designs that came with the purchase.

Hi, no you would have to get your design from canva digitized first so the embroidery machine can read it.You can get that done on fiverr or Etsy.

So I have SE600 and I bought a 4inch design but on my machine it said too large to embroider. What I do? I can’t resize within the machine and I also don’t have the em brilliance software
Unfortunately there really isn’t much to do if you brought the design from Etsy I would ask the shop to resize it.

@@calllmenits yes you would need a software and .be files instead of .pes so that you can be able to make a change to the design and. I it’s not free.

If it has designs it came with and you want to embroider them than yes.But if you want to embroider your own or ones you brought you need a flash drive.

Yes you can but you would have to get a embroidery software and learn to digitize. The embroidery software I use is Embrillance it’s in the description if you wanna check it out.

How do I choose the size I want? Pattern size? It has 4 or 5 sizes…
Pick the size you want and drag it to the flash drive once it there set that size hoop on the machine.

No it has to be digitized In a embroidery software. You can go on fiverr or Etsy to get someone to digitize it so you can use it on your machine .

Hey it can be both when you upload them make sure there on the correct size frame and have them unzipped

It depends on what kind of embroidery machine you have brother machines use .pes files.

.??? How to bring up designs, from usb, to sewing machine screen
This is why I have been doing but whenever I put my usb stick into my machine it doesn’t recognize it’s even there. I watched multiple videos to make sure I’m doing it right and I am but my machine just doesn’t recognize my usb is there. I’m so confused
That’s weird. I would try a different usb and make sure the usb port is clean
@@simplyshy I got it to work finally my machine is apparently really sensitive to how you plug it in. It only works if you plug it in a specific way. But I did get it to work. 😂

No you dont need it if you put the designs straight to your hard drive. If you want to add text to them or customize them in any way you will need a embroidery software.
