  • Joel brought a RZR XP 1000 so we could test it and compare it against the CFMOTO ZFORCE 950 Sport. We did some hill climbing, crawling, and trail riding comparisons and also discuss the difference in the suspension and compared the seats and overall cabin comfort and which one you should consider buying between the 2. Both are fun machines. So if you are looking to purchase a sport sxs; maybe this video will help you with a decision. T-Shirts and hoodies! Also something for the Ladies... Im not going though big mud, im only interested for it to put the power down even better, if possible improve the acceleration time and not reduce topspeed. Thanks!

    As always, love the videos man! About 8 mins in you asked Mr. Jeff about suspension and he said he adjusted his 5 clicks. Which got me thinking... Now I'm partial to the 800xc cause that's what I have but I've yet to mess with my suspension in fear I'll screw something up. Lol. So I was curious if you could make some kind of suspension video for the Moto's. Like a basic how to on adjusting them. The tool you might need and how easy it is to adjust or what to watch out for. Like, do they need to be clean to adjust or can you mess with them out on the trail. Anyways it was cool to see the differences with interior room. Especially with the RZR bring 4 inches wider.

    That looks like a fun place to ride! I just sold my CFMoto ZForce 800 trail so I could get a 64” wide machine. After all the research I’ve done, I decided to try the XP 1000 and it was based mostly on the fact that it has the most suspension travel and it the lightest vs the Japanese brands. That 950 looks great and is $6k cheaper than the RAZR and I would get it if I was on a budget, no question. Here are the notable differences between the stock RAZR and the stock CFMoto: 110 hp vs. 79 hp, 29” tires vs 27” tires, 14” ground clearance vs. 12.2”, wheel travel of 16” front and 18” rear vs. 11” and 11.8”. Both vehicles weigh about the same. Are those differences worth $6k? I don’t know but I’m looking forward to riding the new machine when it arrives! I’m not a brand loyalist and I’m not trying to sell these machines but I will be honest in my upcoming videos with the RAZR just as I was with my little CFMoto! Cheers, Blake!

    You talked about the sway bars again. I understand the safety of the sway bars but how do they handle in the faster trails with the body roll. I really want to disconnect them because of the much better suspension movement and the trails we ride in wv. We make trails but ride fast on others.

    Depends on what you want really. I can get into a rzr trail for 3500$ cheaper than the z950. Resale value is terrible on the cfmoto brands vs brand name equipment. Not knocking the stuff it’s just the new kid to the block

    • @thomasthedankengine1625
      @thomasthedankengine1625 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You cannot get a rzr trail for less than a z950. Resale value is worse but only because the brand isn't as well known and the stigma against smaller foreign brands. Best z950 $14,999 Base rzr trail $15,499.

      It had 6k hard miles on it and it definitely had its cosmetic issues.
      The z950 is like 13k, brand new..
      Polaris rzr trail 570 12k.
      These two really don't compare well as the Polaris 570 only makes like 40something hp.
      I use to bash cf moto, but let's be real here.... you will not get a better new or used machine for a better price then a new cf moto.

  • @frankvaldez9700

    the fact that Polaris is American and CFMoto is Chinese should be the end of the debate right here. What I have noticed with the cf moto and the rzr is that the CFmoto rides very rough. The suspension and handling isnt as refined as Polaris. Rightfully so with Polaris long history producing UTVs. Also the power seems to go to the Polaris side. I feel a more honest comparison would be the RZR Trail s and the Top of the line cfmoto. As far as higher end UTVs, there's not even a comparisons to the pro's and pro R's . If youre on a budget and not sure if youll even be into side by sides, then a used cfmoto might be up your alley. Eventually everyone that likes the sport ends up upgrading to Polaris or Can AM. So the question is.. do you even waste your time going low end?

    • @woodman4989

      Polaris corporate is based in USA but they have factories in Mexico and get their parts from china. Doesn't matter what you buy, nothing is made in America anymore that is 100% American. Polaris also closed a factory down in a town in Minnesota and went to Mexico. The whole town worked at the factory, they all lost their jobs. They did it to save money and yet they raise the prices to make more profit. I own 2 Polaris machines and the 21 I have is not the build quality they used to have.

    Don't mean to be the one hating on that CFMOTO, but they're cheaper because of all the cheaper parts that they use, that's the main reason you will never see one of those out in the King of the hammers race or the Baja 1000, or any high competitive racing .
