Some of the most realistic weathering I have ever seen. Was a heavy equipment operator for 25 years and you nailed it, cant tell you how many things you weathered that look like the real deal. I was esspecially blown away how you achieved the worn floor of the cab where the operators would drag their feet and wear the paint off down to the metal and make it a dull shine, you nailed it!
yes, he did a great job with understanding how years of usage and wear look on the equipment. That is something a black wash can't achieve.

Totally agree.......you've basically said everything I wanted to say. It looks so real that you can almost smell the mix of diesel, hydraulic fluid and dirt! Great work 👍🏻
Absolutely unrealistic color, even after 30 years of operation it does not rust on top, handles are missing, rubber is not from k700 at all, there are flaws in the sample, in total we have the author’s free fantasy that has nothing to do with k700.
Der Kirovetz K700 ist eine DER Kindheitserinnerungen. Er wurde in meinem Heimatdorf in der Landwirtschaft eingesetzt. Und immer wenn die gelben Ungetüme mit ihrem charakteristischen Turboladerpfeifen und den schwarzen Rußfahnen durch das Dorf gerollt sind, haben wir als 3 und 4jährige uns die Nase am Gartenzaun plattgedrückt. Danke für das Zurückholen dieser Erinnerung.
Über das Modell ist bereits alles gesagt worden. Weltklasse.

Let's guess some clues about the next diorama:
- Russian vehicle, so probably eastern European setting.
- Built from 1962 on until 2002, so not WW2.
- Probably civilian setting because of the yellow colour, heavily used but not abandoned, working vehicle.
- Can pull a heavy trailer, big enough for a tank.
My guess: Part of a diorama salvaging a WW2 tank from a swamp somewhere in eastern Europe. (if not, you should build one :)
Other guesses: Demolition of Berlin wall or cleanup duty in Chernobyl.

i think pulling the tank from the marsh with the digger,bet thomas has made 2 tanks before and after
K700A's were often used in the soviet military to tow intercontinental ballistic missiles from storage to silos in the rural mountains, they were also used heavily in forestry and remote roadwork and even after the collapse of the union they found a lot of work in rural development and the agricultural sector, many K700A owners modified their tractor with lots of utility and reinforcement, from a giant roll cage to a 5000T winch, to a backloader arm, rebuilt it with larger engines, better differentials, axles, etc. to compete with newer tractors of the 90s (belarus, rostelsmash, kirovets), it started to fall to disuse in the mid 2000s thanks to the advent of computerized implements and equipment, necessitating the need for newer tractors, yet some still remain.

cant say it any better than anybody else absolutely just fantastic job on painting weathering but could've put wear under steering wheel where feet would be , but really not a thing out of place , instructional and demonstration ,
why do people spend years in college ,, why when this video taught most people who watch it everything they need in about 17 minutes 33 seconds and you can just rewind or replay the video to make sure you are doing it in the correct process using the right colors at right times and detailed right to the spots and curves would catch the dust and shit so realistic awesome job

Ich würde auch gerne wieder mit dem Modellbau anfangen, aber ich habe in beiden Händen einen Tremor der es mir so gut wie unmöglich macht den kleinen Fitzelkram vernünftig zusammenzusetzen.
Mein Trost sind deine Videos, unglaublich was du immer wieder zauberst. Für mich ist es eine Kunst.
Übrigens ein Landwirt bei uns im Dorf hat noch einen K-700. Die Dinger sind unverwüstlich.

You're the only person I watch nowadays about the hobby because of your use of brushes. I respect you a ton for that. A lot videos of hobbyists have way too much airbrush usage, which annoys me to no end personally. Your videos are god tier.

Everybody has the obligation to keep his own pants up. Do not have others doing it for you! I am a fervent modeller but prefer to be selfsupporting. Yes I have an ever growing amount odf tools and devices, but I DID pay myself for it . Try it, it is a real treat.

Zufällig bin ich über den Kanal gestolpert. Das Gefühl/Wissen über Farben, Dreck, Alterung und deren Zusammenspiel ist schon genial.
Trotz der "Anleitung" in den Videos habe ich es nicht mal ansatzweise hinbekommen, Ähnliches zu schaffen.
Wirklich schön anzuschauen.....und wirklich grausam, sein Hobby wegen Unfähigkeit in Frage zu stellen ^^

Excellent weathering! Often tractors and other heavy equipment would have a bent ladder, especially on the outer edges of the vehicle, stones and even mild carelessness on the part of the driver; that's about the only issue I saw besides the pristine tread on the tires.

Ich liebe den K-700 vorallem wie der Boden bebt wenn er startet
hab doch was auf super hohen Niveau zu nörgeln 😉 da fehlt noch der außen liegende Überollkäfig und eine Regenschutzklappe für den Auspuff

Из воспоминаний моего детства .Когда я видел в деревне такой ,он казался огромным ярко-желтым гигантом по сравнению с другими тракторами. И он был всегда помытый и чистый .Не понимаю я фетиша в диорамах с ржавой и грязной техникой ,как со свалки .Да ,и помню еще был на выхлопной трубе "хлопающий" козырёк .При нажатии педали газа в пол, черный дым стремительно вырывался с трубы и откидывал этот козырёк. Потом при сбросе газа он обратно закрывался пружиной. Я так понимаю его функциональное предназначение препятствовать попаданию осадков.
