- When I set out on this adventure I had no plan, no goal, no place to be. I've just been tired of the weather here in my home town so I packed up my new camper and started driving south until I didn't see snow anymore. I ended up spending a few days in the little town of Madrid, NM. Here they filmed the movie Wild Hogs and I visited the famous Maggie's Dinner that was in the film.
2 years later i saw this for the first time lol, great video! Glad i found your channel!
Thank you!
Enjoyed your Madrid episode. Have been there a few times. I enjoy that you are just being you and showing off the places you visit and their natural beauty. Great camera work!! Quality! thank you for that and hope to see more of your episodes.
Thank you. I really appreciate the kind words.
Thank you for the correct pronunciation of Madrid!
The residents pronounce it MAD-rid, not Ma-DRID
I pronounce everything wrong lol
MAD-RID not madrid as in like Spain
I plan on doing my first month long (mostly) solo trip in the summer of 2021. My mom will be with me from San Diego to Albuquerque, NM. This stop is one of the ones that I have on my list (golden as well). Would you say that Madrid is a Living Ghost Town? Quite toursty, seems that way with all the traffic and cars? Thanks for posting this video, gives me something to think about. I am more of an abandoned ghost town kind of gal if you will. Have any suggestions for the area? I will be hitting up CO, WY, MT, ID, WA or OR before heading back home.
Make sure you visit Jemez. Its just south of Madrid !!!
@@iAlwaysNeverWlN Thank you!
On your way go to Chaco Canyon! Look it up. Madrid is cool old mining town too.
There's a chase somewhere that needs cut with this video
My friend lives in Madrid
