FIXED: Not Receiving Message Notification Alerts or Sounds on iPhone

In this video I will show you how to Fix iMessage or Text message notification and sound problem on iPhone. If you are not getting message notification and sound this video will solve your problem. This is mainly issue of iOS bug which can be easily solved

If you are not getting notificaiton from just one person follow this:
If you notice that only specific contacts don’t show or play alerts, then make sure Do Not Disturb isn’t on for that particular contact. No Text or Message Notification Alerts or Sounds on iPhone? Fixes
To check, scroll through your messages and look to the left of each conversation’s name. If you see a crescent moon icon next to the contact, you’ve somehow activated Do Not Disturb Mode for that person/contact.
Sometimes the crescent moon icon doesn’t even show up when DND is activated for a single contact, so it’s a good idea to check that contact, even if you don’t see the crescent moon.
Edit the contact’s details by pressing the “i” and turn OFF Hide Alerts (or Do Not Disturb.)

If it doesn’t work and your not getting iMessage notifications go to settings, notifications, scroll down to iMessage, and tap it, if it’s off turn it back on

For those who are on the iPhone XR (and maybe other versions), you have to reset all settings. To do that, go to Settings > General > Reset > then click “reset all settings.” The reset will change your text tone, wallpaper, and any other settings, but it should get your notifications to pop back up and the ding.

Directly above the volume buttons on the side of your phone is a small switch that silents notifications. I accidentally move the switch all the time without knowing it. Try it, may help you.
