i swear the WWE 2K16 ranking system for the titles is sooooooo slow, sometimes you beat someone who's higher in the ranking and you don't even go up
I used to try and trick the system by getting into rivalries with ranked #1 to skip the line but NOPE. That didn't work at all, just kept me at #8 forever.
@@ThisGenGaming i had a feud with Bad News Barrett who was higher in the ranking, obviously i didn't go up 🤦🏻♂️
I didn't play 2k16 career mode for very long but I also swear that titles almost NEVER change without player interface, which I really disliked
2k17 is worst
It was TERRIBLE
The fact that Tre got the universal title quicker than Buzz shows that something is clearly wrong here
I like 2k19 more than 2k20 because your character makes more sense and the story plus Tre winning the title quickly made no sense since Tre mostly loses and the story had a time skip after every chapter

Wouldn't it be cool if it was based on actual WWE wrestlers like how Road to WrestleMania was?
I got an idea for 2k25 for the career mode instead of starting at NXT you get called up. But instead of going to Smackdown or Raw you go to a new brand started by a an Darkhorse wrestler (Booker T, Finlay, Wade Barrett, etc) you establish the show and climb up the ranks with a crew of guys that don’t get enough shine like (Andrade, Apollo, Ricochet etc) and make it a legit threat like the Smackdown 6 era of WWE.
In 2k17, I once won the US title at payback and qualified for MITB and won. Cashed in 1 week later, meaning that you can technically win the world championship in just over 3 months in 2k17.
Yeah I got the NXT title Ic Title and world title using the ranking glitch😂

@@Christiantheforestdweller yeah, to do it get in a feud with the superstar two ranks above you, win that rivalry at the PPV and your rank should increase, I cant remember how much it increased by because i haven't played WWE 2K17 in 3 years, but by doing this glitch I won the US title at payback and the IC title at summerslam then the World championship at Survivor Series.
I wasn’t expecting Assemble to join the TGG team but I see TGG’s stock just keeps rising. VSG and Assemble? That’s awesome!
In Here Comes The Pain you can start the game as World Champion or win it on your third week if you start as a Main Eventer.
My favorite career modes are 2k19,2k23,
2k24
2k19 the story
2k23 because you see how management/backstage politics can ruin your character
2k24 your character arc from being a darkhorse that no one knows to being a workhorse everyone knows
I got to the Main Roster in WWE2K16 in 1 hour and 10 minutes

Call me terminally online but the 30+ hour grind on WWE 2k16 is awesome. I feel like I really earned something. so far I have earned
-NXT Championship
-US Championship
-Tag Team Championship (Wit Mark Henry)
I only have 46 hours out into My career mode.

I swear 2k17 was killing me with that system and their rivalry system was pissing me off too.

When we tried to cash in we got a cutscene of us being screwed over by Triple H. Is yours a different path maybe?

Watching these videos made me remember how good 2K19’s mode was, and how terrible 2K20’s was
I said it before and I'll say it again, i wish these games would acknowledge the fact my character is a giant
I Remember that After winning the title in WWE 2k20, i arrived at the rematch hoping for a good match, Just to win to a reverse Quick PIN, After like 40 seconds of match, so anticlimatich
I love the WM2000 BG music... it took me back to 1999.

@ThisGenGaming @AssembleShow You should do a video comparing every MyCareer Mode in terms of which ones have the most storylines, more opportunities to do a face and heel turn, the ability to create tag teams and factions, choose to fight for any title, play as a male or female, etc.
They perfected the formula on their second go around then decided to divert.
In WWE 2K17 their was a glitch where if you get in a feud with a person 2 ranks above you, (e.g 10 and 8) you would rank up, by spamming this glitch I was able to get the NXT title in three months, then the IC title and then the World Title😂 and In 2K18 there was two stories, heel story and face story, In the heel story you start in NXT, go to raw where they have you attack seth rollins then feud with a random superstar, and then Win MITB, then The IC title, and then when you cash in mitb, you get attacked by a random star, Then you win royal rumble, and then Win the World Title at wrestlemania, In the face story you win the world title at elimination chamber, and You defend your championship against the rock and triple H at WM33
2:24 to win Royal Rumble may sound like a good idea but in 217 or 2k18 i did it after i already was world champion so for WM i had a match against the strongest opponent i can imagine, myself. unfortunately this mach cost me my whole career, cuz the game crashed every i tryed time mach loading screen.

I was thinking about buying 2K16 and 2K17 so play their career modes because I never played them. Now that I've heard about that ranking stuff I ain't getting those games 💀
I know a glitch to help you easily go through the ranks.
Wwe 2k16s rankings don’t matter that much and easy way to it is join the world title division then attack the champion and you’ll get a match
i hated how there was no voice lines in the older 2k career modes reading stuff all the time and hearing it really does make a difference with experiencing a career story. i will say 20 is obviously the worst version of a career mode even tho there is voice lines
