you could if you listened to rock music. the fact is, no matter how popular a song is, or a movie, or tv show, whatever, most people haven't heard it or seen it. there's always something else to listen to or watch.
Timberland was allllllll over the radio and it was a glorious time for music. I miss hearing a track and you know immediately who made the beat. I miss that sound honestly. Just makes you want to get up and dance.
We couldn’t go nowhere without hearing a Timbaland record on the radio waves. I mean he had produced a lot of hits for different artists over his career. I mean his influence on the music industry has been immense, and his unique production style has left his mark on countless hits. He has worked with artists like Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott, Aaliyah, Nelly Furtado, Ginuwine and many others has resulted in some of the most memorable and iconic songs of the past few decades. One of my favorite Timbaland songs is Cry Me A River by Justin Timberlake.
You could go all over the world without hearing a Timbaland record if you listened to rock music instead of pop and hiphop. Timbaland wasn't working with Coheed & Cambria or Muse or the many other rock groups that were popular then.
@@perfectallycromulent Timbaland produced all over different genres. Hip Hop/Pop is his bread and butter. If you listened to the Shock Value albums he had different artists such as Elton John, Fallout Boy, She Wants Revenge, and OneRepublic. If you don't like Timbaland just say so.
I recently made a Timbaland TH-cam playlist and got almost 90 tracks on it. That tells you how many incredible songs he's produced. Songs with Missy Elliot, Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Janet Jackson, LL Cool J, Alicia Keys, Aaliyah and many more iconic artists.
Doesn't even mention Ginuwine. Ginuwine: The Bachelor (1996) 100% Ginuwine (1998) Those two albums were mainly produced by Timbaland, he continued to produce other tracks for future Ginuwine albums. Timbaland is dope ASF.
I love Timbaland, thank you for covering him, I’ve never heard this story before and he was such an iconic part of my childhood, more than I knew, because I didn’t even know he produced the beats to some of the songs he did, nice nostalgia trip
Jason mraz, Chris brown, Katie kouric, Sandra bullock, Allen iverson, Warren Beaty are also famous Virginians. Five guys, Phillip morris, Mountain Dew are famous Virginia brands
Stronger is still one of my favorite songs until today (I am 27M). Watched my older cousins have a blast partying to the Nelly Furtado and Timbaland combo.
He also did the music to Empire and we know those were all a work of greatness! Watch Give it to me go up in views now because we gotta go listen for sure now! Timbaland is a badass!
That man is a legend. He was different and better than the rest. A true artist. He will always stand out as one of the top, most unique music producers of all time 💪
Timbaland is one of the most underrated super producers running 2 decades+ & is barely mentioned hardly ever. Idk if it’s cause he never did ride the hardcore rap wave but he made classics that should have been recognized. This is the same guy who sampled the classic Spider-Man song & gave us prime Missy Elliott, Ginuwine,Aaliyah, Pitbull, Ludacris & JT ( stop rocking w/him since the Janet Jackson incident ). 0:19
Liked the video but taking Ginuwine out of this was sad to me... and many other artists that Timb worked with... like Bubba Sparx, Tweet, and many others
Yeah, the J. Cole story with Timbaland is crazy. The fact that Timbaland threw it out because he didn’t think it was good enough just for him to remake it exactly the way it was for J. Cole.
@0:48 thats all it was, his beats were & STILL ARE *Cristal clear* its how punchy & clean the beat sounds. Even now, there's no crisper sound than a Timberland production. Also, @2:10 *is it going, is it going, I don't know what your looking for* ... Is because it can't be mixed easily by any DJ, it starts off beat & vocals kick in, off beat.... The artists saying that at the beginning was so tedious at the time 😅 we could only salute it 👍🏼🙄😄
Timbaland has been training with Phil Daru, aka Daru Strong he has a channel on here. He's an ex mma fighter and trains a couple of UFC fighters. I'm sure they have collaborated and made a workout mix.
TLDW - he's been teaching younger artists on how to produce ect for quite a few years and I believe he also writes too, wrote a kids book. Basically the guy dominated the music production scene for the better part of a decade, has a net worth of 80-90 million, won 4 Grammy's, nominated for 18 and eventually started doing side missions 😂. Dude is literally considered a legend even by the kids of today, he isn't forgotten, he's finished the game and is in retirement mode 😂.
I have so much respect for Timbaland. But damn, i didn‘t know how much i dislike the 2000s Music Even back then. But thanks for the video, very interesting, well done
What is Timbaland's best song in your opinion?
Give it to me
Say it right because it has a addictive melody
Skibidi toilet
Ching ching
Jigga what, jigga who might be my favorite beat he ever made
During the 2000’s you couldn’t go anywhere without hearing 1 of his beats cause of the ridiculous amount of hits this man did 🤧
facts!
Late 90s too
You had to know what to look for in the 1990's, I heard his name long before I could pick up on his style
you could if you listened to rock music. the fact is, no matter how popular a song is, or a movie, or tv show, whatever, most people haven't heard it or seen it. there's always something else to listen to or watch.
He didn't "do" nothing he stole all his beats and was exposed as a talentless hack without being able to find anymore beats to steal
Timberland was my childhood. So many memories! . He is definitely still one of my favourite producers of all time💯🐐🔥
Timbalalnd Beats still Bang. 🔥🔥🔥
Ayo
💯
Yep!
Timberland was allllllll over the radio and it was a glorious time for music.
I miss hearing a track and you know immediately who made the beat.
I miss that sound honestly. Just makes you want to get up and dance.
Timbaland is the reason Justin Timberlake solo career skyrocketes
I met Timbaland back in 2020 in high school he reviewed my song and gave me amazing feedback
“I met”
@@DreiSkins101 thanks brutha
@ ✌
did he say " yo that shit sucks !! ".. Joking lol.. I'm sure you got something good there !
@johndthottam he said "your ideas are dope" it's just the kicks and the mixing and he told me how to fix my mixing which I greatly appreciate
Always here for a Supa FriendsTimbaland, Missy Elliott, Ginuwine, Aaliyah & Magoo short documentary ✨️💕
How can you forget the music with Ginuwine? Like “pony” are you kidding me
That Pony beat gives me chills when I think about it. I remember the first time I saw the video and how much I love that song 😂
That's Timbs breakthrough song and they didn't mention it? I haven't finished watching it

Timbaland beats will always be a part of my memories ! no way you will forget beats like that.
we have to give flowers to Timbaland
Sure!
And Danja
He be on some goofy stuff sometimes but he is amazing.
did not know about his drug problems. hope he is feeling better.
a true studio genius in my opinion
i really miss his music now :( he is one of a kind, theres no one like him!!
Loved this era of Music....R.I.P Magoo 🙏🏻🫡
Damn I didn’t even know that 😢 🕊️
Doesn't even mention Ginuwine.
Ginuwine: The Bachelor (1996)
100% Ginuwine (1998)
Those two albums were mainly produced by Timbaland, he continued to produce other tracks for future Ginuwine albums.
Timbaland is dope ASF.
I came to the comments just to see this 💯💪🏿
I love Timbaland, thank you for covering him, I’ve never heard this story before and he was such an iconic part of my childhood, more than I knew, because I didn’t even know he produced the beats to some of the songs he did, nice nostalgia trip
Any music produced by timbaland can be told from very far because it has very unique taste. He sure knows how to season his music well
Timbaland is the main reason why music in 2000's was so great
One thing is a fact, you always know right away if its a Timbaland Beat playing. Its just to iconic.
Props to timba for staying out of the toxic spotlight
Timbaland lost many close friends over the years Aaliyah, Magoo, Static Major, his friend in the car accident that woul cause depression and anxiety.
Most underrated producer of all time. Can make music without samples and still top the charts. And that's mostly what he did.
Lmao he was heavily rated.
Timbo did a lot of sampling
RIP princess of R&b alliayah 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Behind J Dilla, Timbo is who I model my sound after. The VA sound is from a different dimension.
RIP J DILLA. LONG LIVE SLUM
RIP J 🙏
I miss the era of Timbaland and Magoo, Missy, Aaliyah, and Ginuwine. Timbaland was doing most of the productions for their albums as well.
No Pony or Genuwine? 1996. I can remember the first time I saw the music video on The Box while on a weekend pass from the group home
Timbaland shaped my late 90s and early 2000s. He is the reason many guys bought a woofer in their cars
Man scott storch is not a pianist. He is a legendary producer.
the Roots
Who simp’d out to Nikki Minaj & lost his fortune splurging 🤦🏾♂️ this isn’t to discredit him
😂😂😂
Timbaland produced the happiest of memories for me. Every time I hear any of his songs I go back to the best days of my youth and probably my life 😊
Timbland was excellent singer and producer 😎😎😎♥️♥️♥️
i love this man he is genius to me, can you please make a similar video on "What Really Happened to RedOne or Dr. Luke?"
I've been saying this for ages. We need Timbaland back! I love his music.
Can't believe he was behind a lot of songs I loved back then!!! !!
Legend! I hope History remembers this G.O.A.T for many years to come
Awesome video shout-out I didn't know he born in Norfolk VA that 100 from where I lived in Richmond ❤😊
thanks!
Jason mraz, Chris brown, Katie kouric, Sandra bullock, Allen iverson, Warren Beaty are also famous Virginians. Five guys, Phillip morris, Mountain Dew are famous Virginia brands
I loved Timberland and Magoo back in the 90's and of course Timberland in the 2000's. He's just always been so gifted.
Stronger is still one of my favorite songs until today (I am 27M).
Watched my older cousins have a blast partying to the Nelly Furtado and Timbaland combo.
Im from VA too! & I got mad respect for timbaland.💯👍🏾
Didn’t talk about that banger he did for Bubba Sparkxxx
Timbaland had his signature on all the bangers in the 2000’s
Thanks for the video 👍
He really was one of the best producers at that time!
Appreciate it
Man this is everything to me. Timbaland had so much influence on me as a young artist
His work stands out. I can't think about Nelly and Justin's music without Timbaland, together they defined the 2000s.
He also did the music to Empire and we know those were all a work of greatness! Watch Give it to me go up in views now because we gotta go listen for sure now! Timbaland is a badass!
well done, marvellous presentation of that genius TIMBER...land land land land.
That man is a legend. He was different and better than the rest. A true artist. He will always stand out as one of the top, most unique music producers of all time 💪
This man is a musical genius. Salute to Timbaland.
RIP Magoo😢 unique flow
You forgot to point out The Bounce... Yeah!
Love your channel, pls do wu tang clan
We will
@MusicVibeChannel thanks you
honestly one of my favorite and imho the most underrated collab that he’s done is w/ FOB
The world really needs the Shock Value 3. Timbaland stays one of the greatest producers of all time.
Great producer!!! Love his work ❤️🔥😁🎶
Didn’t realise he produced so many recognisable songs! He’s really good
I listen to his beats everyday. Never gets old
I start with a music after Shock Value 2. He was my inspiration. He still is.
Back when we immediately knew who's the producer without that tag mentioning like nowadays
One of the most compelling and creative minds in music
Timbaland is the goat and always will be❤
Timbaland is one of the most underrated super producers running 2 decades+ & is barely mentioned hardly ever. He is one of the very best 👌🏾 and he definitely deserves his flowers 💐 ❤
2:38 like the lil twang on “Norfolk, Virginia” 😂
how long do yall expect my guy to keep going lol he's literally done it all
You missed out "Are you that somebody" Alliyah sound track for Romeo must die. Odd sounds included a baby gurgling ❤❤❤
Are you that somebody is from Dr. Dolittle, Try Again is from Romeo Must Die.
@@PowerRangersFanAntiDinoFury Yes you're spot on!
Timbaland is still the best producer for me. Wish he would make a comeback album
My life CHANGED when i first saw aaliyah in are you that somebody. That beat drove me insane
Liked the video but taking Ginuwine out of this was sad to me... and many other artists that Timb worked with... like Bubba Sparx, Tweet, and many others
Omg I loved Tweet sooo much!
And forget Petey Pablo
I’m glad he’s doing much better now and is still making music.
He owned the club sound, a new level. Talented guy
my favorite one is the one one by Furtado 'comes to an end'.
My current “feel good” playlist has 5 Timbaland tracks out 10 total
1 of the best producers of all time, his work with aaliyah and missy were amazing
Bro that thumbnail😂😂😂
Timbaland is an absolute legend he made everything and started it all 💯
Ice box by Omarion is one of my favorites song produced by Timberland. The song became a healer to soul.
You should make a similar video about Scott Storch
What goes around, promiscuous, my love, say it right.. damn i didnt know he produced so many masterpieces. What a genius
I really used to love his music and still today
Timbo, pharrell, diddy and missy formed my musical character
No diddy
@Nurseakeem cmon, i cant change or erase the past, what he did and why i liked his work just because he is a monster. Lets be mature here
He just saved us in 2020 him an swizzz with vrs 💪🏽💯
Tbh- his music aged like a fine wine .
Yeah, the J. Cole story with Timbaland is crazy. The fact that Timbaland threw it out because he didn’t think it was good enough just for him to remake it exactly the way it was for J. Cole.

Most of those cats where from VA my guy! 1:43
WE NEED MORE Timbaland
Timbaland and Scott Storch had the 2000’s on lock
People forget that he was dominant since the 90s
Virginia in the HOUSE, beyotch. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
I didn't know he'd made so many bangers
Scream & Give it 2 me… personal favourites!
Shock Value is fantastic.
