You should not a problem buying Type S at MSRP when Sale Manager has to sell the car to get off Floor Plan Inventory-make your deal toward the end of the month. American Honda Motor Credit is financing the Floor Plan Inventory for the dealership and the dealership pays interest each month to have the cars sitting the lot instead of getting off the lot by selling it. Since the Type S is built in Ohio instead of Japan means that the Acura dealerships should have more soon.
Civic Type R should be in the mid 30's, this car should be 40k. But like every other car today, they are all overpriced by at least 10k, and there are morons out there paying these prices, as well as the market adjustments.
The FL5 and Integra TypeS are very good for their actual price. certainly one of the best production hot hatches/lift backs ever created through out the generations.

Love your video. I'm in OKC. About 2 months ago, MSRP for Int Type S was 51K, dealer wanted 61K plus. Test drove an Integra A-spec (worse car, not impressed, loved HUD) and yesterday got a text saying OKC Dealership is willing to do a special for me! They will honor MSRP out the door!
Do your research. There’s a lot of other cars similarly priced that will give you better bang for your buck. For instance. You go in at $61k and you can get a 3.40M
My SA was didn't want to go back on his word saying you'll never find a Type S at sticker. But come to find out people were getting their Type S at sticker when inventory stacked up. He didn't even bother to call me even knowing I've been looking for one since June/July. I've never do business with that dealership because of one guy.
the type is in my area is still either $3-5k ADM or have forced accessories. There were 2 at my dealership when i checked them out. They were both sold within the week.

If you go to the dealer that I went you’ll get for msrp plus a few accessories (which I think a absolutely necessary) but other dealers also are doing msrp , everyone realized selling over MSRP isn’t going to happen right now
My prediction is if these Type S Integras don't sell, Acura won't lower MSRP. They will just end production and Dealers will keep them at marked up prices because they know people will eventually buy based on FOMO.

My dealer had a lot of acura integras but they did not have the 2024 TLX. I have a 2021 white pearl tech was looking to buy the black type s 2024 with the red interior. They have no specials on financing and no rebates on the 2024! My dealer said maybe in 2 more months! I still brought the car 😂 but it took forever so i pick it up tomorrow!
Meh…it’s a great car, at 45k. At 50k it’s underpowered and overpriced. It lacks true luxury found in cars in this range (sunroof, rear climate control, heated steering wheel, power seats for both driver and passenger). I get it, I do, I’ve owned an Integra, an RSX and a FK8. And I wouldn’t buy this or the FL5. You can get AWD and more luxury for 55k. And performance wise it’s no more capable than the cheaper Civic and it gets embarrassed by cars like the M240i or Audi S3. But if you want a performance luxury car that doesn’t do either very well, the Type S is a viable option. Give it another year, these cars will be sitting on the lots. Once it’s no longer a “new car” people cross shopping this will likely choose the competition leaving Honda fanbois as the primary market…
It's a great car, just priced too high. They're not the only ones either. Four cylinder, front-wheel drive car, based on a Civic doesn't need to be priced at $55k+, and some even have markups at that. Type R also overpriced. The average person can't afford it anymore as all the extra money has dried up, and the rich person would buy something else.

I am happy I bought this car, it can be easy or you can launch it in 2nd gear ...it is always ready to roll! Handles great and it is a Time Machine on the Interstate. BTW, mine is Red Pearl and it draws attention. If you don't like the attention better to buy another color.

I was told I was getting the vin in a few days and wanted it to do so with insurance. I was really excited to get it so when the few days came I applied for the financials when completely forgot to ask for the vin again. Was told it’s coming “next week” and that they aren’t getting the car I ordered… that it’s going to a different dealer. So they are gonna steal it from whichever dealer it goes to. Found out 1 day later that my “basic spec” just got into production and wouldn’t receive the car until 45 days later… in which my loan options would be disqualified and having to reapply again. Went to a different dealer, and got a different color the next day. Was in and out, about two hours total. I still check till this day if my original dealer ever got my supposedly silver with ebony. Never showed up🤷♂️. Either way I’m not trusting anyone anymore lol
The acuras are gorgeous but unfortunately they can’t touch BMW/supra B58 from a tuning perspective. On the east coast BMW and Audi is 100 percent the wave I’m not sure why JDM cars fell off tremendously

In HS I had a brand new GSR, I’ve owned an a spec TL, I’ve owned G60 gti swaps, ek hatch EG hatches etc. a 2018 M3 comp with one owner and let’s say 30,000 miles is selling for 55/65k a 2023 type tlx at bridge water Acura is msrp for 58,145 one town over a used one same spec with 2,000 miles is for at 46,800… You cannot compare German depreciation with Japanese depreciation, the only Jap cars holding value are the NSX, S2000 and GTR A 23 type s tlx leases for around 850 per month, you can lease a CPO M3 comp for the same or slightly more per month. Which goes back to my first comment BMW and Audi is the wave in the streets.. no one is buying jap cars like that the sales statistics are horrible Lastly good luck with your acquisition and hope you enjoy the vehicles everyone has their happy place
