I've done the pencil craft. I teach Preschool so write the student names on it, so that they learn to recognize their names. I have to redo it every year, but it works so well and the kids are so excited to see their names. I use a grey-ish blue washi tape instead of the silver paint, but I may have to try your way next time.
🌸Hello there!! 🌼Congratulations on signing your first teaching contract! 20 year 1st grade veteran teacher here and so glad I stumbled across your Channel! I’m actually doing the Happy Boho Chic with rainbows for my class decor and the tassel DIY is one I’m going to try!! Thank YOU!! 🌻
The tassels were my favorite although I also thought the pencil sticks were really cute too. You are so creative! What fun projects!! I can’t wait to see your chair in your new classroom 😊
I love the chair!!! I have seen teacher stools (my back would hurt) and rocking chairs (too bulky for me). I just always felt that I wouldn't be comfortable, but I love the simplicity and overall looks like it can't go wrong!! Will definitely try this year!
Hello, the tassel garland is so cute. I will definitely be trying this one. Thank you for the inspiration. I tried the pencils before. Super cute idea. I am also going to try the chair idea as well this year👍🏼! Have a great new school year.
Howdy🤠from Texas! This 2021-22 school year is my eighth professional teaching year, but my first time teaching 1st grade. I am departmentalized: ELA, Social Studies, & Writing.
I use the popsicle sticks if I need an extra helped, when I want to randomly pick partners, when I'm picking who gets to use scoop rockers (we don't have a class set), etc. Hope this helps!
Hi! My name is Megan and I'm pretty new to TH-cam kinda like you! I'm a second year teacher and I'd love to connect and maybe do some collaboration?! Love your videos and I can't wait to see more!
I love the tassels!
I want to try all three of those diy projects. Yours turned out quite well.

So gonna do the popsicle sticks!!!
The tassels were so cute! I think I might have to try that for my desk this coming school year!
Yes, you definitely should!! 🤗
Love the tassel banner! I need one in my classroom now! I did those craft stick pencils a few years ago. They are very useful for lots of things!
I ❤️ all your DIYs!! The tassel & bead garland was my favorite! TFS ☺️
Oh so cute!!! Loved that chair and beautiful kitty 🐈⬛ 😍
Super cute! Great job on the tutorial.
How cute!! Very smart to do diy's!! I like the equity sticks the best. Too cute!!
Your garland came out really nice!!! LOVE it!
I created the “pencils” for my classroom this past year. The kids love them. It’s easier to cut them before painting.

Love the pencils!
Very cute DIYs
Excellent teacher already!! You’re so creative, organized and your classroom looks beautiful 💕
I liked your second runner up for the pencils but just the number is smart too

You did such a great job!! I wanna tackle the DIY tassels myself and this makes me think I might be able to actually do it! 😂
If I can do it, anyone can do it! 🤣
I love the garland 😍
I really enjoyed this video!!! I love the tassels, they came out so good!!! Definitely going to try that DIY for my classroom ❤️
Use a spray sealant on your number sticks and they will stay much cleaner and keep the color from rubbing off on the sticks. They will last for years.
Love it! You are so creative!
Класс! Тоже захотелось сделать карандашики и украшение для комнаты!
I’m definitely trying out that tassel craft! Thank you for posting these cute ideas!
Of course!!
These are so pretty!!
I'm not allowed into my classroom until the middle of August!! I feel your pain!!! :( :(
i love everything ! AMAZING!
All of the DIY projects look great. Which Cricut machine did you buy?

❤️❤️❤️
How are you planning on using the chair in your classroom? Like is it a flexible seating option or are you going to have it set somewhere specific?
It is the chair right next to my ELMO 😁
What do you use popsicle pencils for?

How was your first year as a first grade teacher ?
The diys you made is so cute! Do you have a Pinterest?
At least the intermission was Cleveland Browns! 🏈
