I put a few dots of a glue stick on the back of the pieces when I lay them on the laminator sheets. It holds them in place so they don't overlap as you run the sheets through.
I feel you about that laminator! I used my laminator wrong for almost an entire year. 🤦♀️ I had the tray on the bottom instead of the top and I always used to think “why do teachers love this so much?” Because it works great if you use it the right way 🤣
Tip on printer. Get an ecotank one. No cartridges and the bottles of ink are way cheaper and last a LOT longer. The printer itself can cost a bit more but I only refilled mine once in 3 years 50$ for all 4 colors. I print a lot of paper items but more photos and such.
Learning how to use the laminator was my favorite part. I laughed. We all have been there. Tip…don’t cut first. Laminate then cut. It will save you so much time.

Don’t use buckets for pencils. Instead of having buckets for dull and sharp pencils I give each student 3 pencils and inform them that these are the only pencils they will get for 3 months. I give each student a basket to keep their pencils, crayons and eraser in. I also inform them that I will only sharpen pencils once a week. I do a basket check everyday, before we go home, to make sure they have all three pencils, crayons and their eraser. If you teach at a PBIS school you can use your schools reward tickets. If I am teaching K-3 and a student needs to sharpen a pencil it will costs them 5 tickets. Your students will quickly learn take care of their pencils. I have used this method in different grades and always works.
When I laminate smaller pieces I put a little glue on the back with a glue stick. It keep everything in place! I saw it on TikTok!
I’m a cut, laminate, cut person too! I just stick a little tape on the back of the pieces so they don’t shift while running through the laminator.

Laminate first then cut your stuff out. Saves time.
I was going to say the same thing.

They have a 200 pack on amazon of the lamination sheets. They have like a rainbow splash type deal on the front!
I literally just bought those this morning for 8 bucks!

Where did you get the cart and white organizer from?
What font did you use for the buckets?
Your cat is so cute!
I agree! The entire cutting portion I was distracted by the cat !
Yeah she was enthralled with all the boxes and plastic 🤣
Does your friend have a store where she sells her affirmation station
Do you laminate your cart labels? How do you attach them?
she said she just cut holes in them for the knobs and they stayed without needing tape!
How much did all of this cost?
Hey I couldn’t find your alphabet, where did you get it? It’s so cute
Miss Jacob’s Little Learners has it in her tpt store 😁
Great video! Can I ask the brand of your toolbox?
It says the brand is Iris USA! I'll put a link to it in the description :)
@@inspiringedventures1287 thanks so much🙏🏻

I put a link for them in the video description! 🤗
