The intrepid only good thing is the shower and toilet will be a slight hindrance. But it provides nothing interesting, lower shields then a titan. Same cargo as a titan but this can't carry vehicles. Combat is nowhere near a titan. Should've been 50 or under. Heck the 300i is better.
Sadly there was no ‘available’ Warbond for the TAC. There was one that flashed up when it was first announced and then instantly pulled down. So that was more glitched then available
Love your videos, and love the intrepid agility and interior, but imo it should get S5 weapon considering the price higher than titan and only 1 weapon.
That single weapon thing is a difficult thing to parse out for me as well. It's definitely a negative and I don't know how to make up for it. A size increase is nice, and before it was a s3, but it's still a single weapon system point of failure. Not good imo.
@@Zi-TekGaming Well, if we're talking the big American waffles, they are not really that different from the American pancakes... just the ingredient ratio being a bit off... Crispier, though, so I agree with your choice. Although in general I prefer the Russian-style (or French-style) crepes :)
That tac price was how it launched then went up a couple hours after launch. The proposed new salvager the misc fortune maybe there. The guardian is what im hoping to see. great video Thank you.
I "thought" they said the guardian was the one that wouldn't make it to iae this year but I could be mistaken. Here's hoping! Also of note, the Guardian will get a QED variant!
Hey man, I'm not 100% but I think the E1 Spirit is still a concept ship and it's available in the store. For CCU its standard price, but you can do $5 ccu from The Razor -> E1 Spirit, or what I did is $10 from the Ballista -> E1 Spirit. I already have a warbond CCU to the Ballista and it's in the shop very often. The Razor is not in the shop currently, but could be sometime during IAE. anywho that's my 2 cents.
How are you getting better value with the Intrepid? The Avenger is a far better ship across multiple fields like time to get in the pilots seat, being able to drive in with any bike, better shields, better components, better weapons by far. I'm just confused how on earth this thing can be priced higher. Just because of the bathroom?
The screen shot doesn't do justice to the Intrepid green paint. It's a pearlized paint, so it shifts color from blue/green depending on how the light hits it. I hate asymmetrical ships, but I might get this one for an odd runabout and Crusader ships are nice enough to overlook it. There aren't any ships I really wanted to buy this year or last. The little Argo truck is cute and useful for working DCs but it's ultimately meant to support the upcoming base building version as a materials caddy it can draw from. Cheapish LTI tokens if anything else.
Thanks for letting us know on that Intrepid paint. Glad to know its better in person! The most compelling ships this year, at least for me have been the Zeus and Galaxy series. Lots of folks are looking forward to the Guardian but I didnt really like the Fury so I dont know if Ill feel the same about a larger version of it. I think I like the Intrepid partly because as I was flying it I was surprised how good it was. Ill probably upgrade one of my referral rewards to it. Either that or the Rambler, maybe scout.
Right, release should be on MISC day. That's when the price increase is expected. I assumed it would drop on day 1 but it looks like we have a few days left to get a discount
Correct. Although there is a possibility of some duplicates occuring during the BIS day and finale, the intent was to have new and different warbonds each day. FOMO in full effect
That is what was stated on spectrum so it is unlikely they will return. It even seems like they won't have the best in show vehicles during their manufacturer's day in the expo either based on the C1 not having a wb today. So very unlikely that any will come back.
i don't see the TAC WB in my CCU game... how odd. Friend did say he saw a streamer see TAC CCU but as we couldn't find it we both assumed it must of been the max
The C1 was available not that long ago as a WB CCU. Dont worry though. Not only is it very common in the CCU game, its nearly guaranteed to have a WB CCU during Best In Show day as it made the final 4. Check back on IAE day 10 (Dec 1st) to see!
Yes LTI will transfer. Insurance works this way: the highest insurance you have on any of the links in your chain, will be what the final ship ends up with. So if you started with an LTI, you end with LTI. If you started with a 6mo insurance ship and some of the CCUs had 10 years insurance, your ship gets 10 year insurance. If you have the uber rare Nomad WB CCU with LTI, and its in a chain, that chain and end ship will have LTI. They dont stack though, so if you have 5 links in the chain and all of them have 10 yr insurance, that final ship only has 10 yrs of insurance.
You should probably make the titles of the vids like "Star Citizen IAE 2954 - Day 1 - Warbonds and CCUs Overview" - that would probably help more people find your videos :)
how come you still have the Avenger Titan CitCon 2954 starter available for purchase? on my site its been removed but there is a new mustang alpha pack with some white paint instead
It's only for noobies or those that are logging in for the first time since the patch...I did not know that. Hopefully it's a bug as it wasn't made clear that this should be the case. Thanks for the info.
I'll probably be upgrading to the Intrepid. My game package ship (from like 2016 that I can't/won't melt) is an avenger stalker, which has exactly 0 uses currently without the bounty system. Scratch that, I can actually shove a pulse in there, LOL. It is another line of ships that desperately needs the "gold pass" to keep up with these new releases. I do like the avenger concept better though, and would switch to a titan if I could instead. On that note, why the hell can't we change to equal value ships? Especially if you have a ship that is meant for a currently non existent game mechanic....but, oh well...
Well they used to have that option...to exchange ships if they were the same price. That's where all of those zero dollar CCU came from. Initially it was for this very reason, so people could try out " competitor" ships at the same price point. Pricing evolved in a different way so those CCU also left the game.
I'm torn because I finally have a full fleet using mostly store credit from the BMM glowup. I think I'm actually good for the first time lol. My wallet is finally safe.
Sure, I'll put it in the next video for you. Its an expensive ship so you'll have a long way to go before getting it, and at this point zero work is being done for any Banu ships. As long as you're good waiting and planning you'll be fine!
Starters are starters, people should either buy the cheapest just to grab the game or go to at least a cutty black or C1. Thise ships are a money trap.
I like the starters because it gives me a decent ship to use instead of some of my referral rewards...like my 5th dragonfly or that P-52 Merlin I have no use for.
@Zi-TekGaming yeah, but why use anything smaller than a C1 or Cutty if those are easy to acquire ingame? I mean, I can't criticize people for spending, I have a reclaimer and the CCU for the inconclad assault, but I frankly can't see a reason to use any of the starters, so just be cheap. What I CAN understand is grabbing one and upgrading via CCU to the smaller ship with a med bed, costing 65 bucks. At least for now it's insanely practical for bunker missions with a respawn at the door.
People like to have a low claim time shuttle and may not like what starters are already available for various reasons. Like maybe they have a favorite manufacturer due to the general design language.
Guessing they won't as tumbril is in the expo already and tomorrow will likely have an Aegis wbccu. Hoping a titan variant or another gladius would be nice.
Here's my guess for tomorrow: Reclaimer (wondering if its tomorrow or just BIS day), Redeemer (because always Redeemer), Warden, and Saber Firebird or Peregrine. Hers's what I'm hoping for, for tomorrow: Avenger Titan, Gladius, Cyclone RC, Nova
Well now - the ugly lil box, that by the way i dislike its forced A-Symmetry..... Its such a bad ship xD The only good things about it are: Decent agility for its size. Very well made interior. Surprisingly - due to only 1 of each componnents, its a pretty good stealthy blockade runner :D But thats it. I can say all this and more for the Avenger.
Seeing the Intrepid really makes me want to see a Titan revamp, maybe after the Connie's, or even a Titan MKII. They could even make it LORE based as the original titan has some negative connotations due to its use by the Messers.
The intrepid is great. I look forward to flying it and just letting everyone's hate flow through me.
Same lol
Same here, pretty cool looking ship
My brother picked it up and he's loving it.
@@squidwardtentacles2701 yeah nice ship, LTI is a nice treat and going forward there is also the possibility of CCU upgrade to get a better one later
I was waiting on the M2 for a couple chains. Nice!
Awesome! That's a key link to most of the higher priced ships so it's great we've gotten two of them now.

Just a note, the Starlancer is MISC not RSI. So liable to increase on MISC day instead. 😅 Thanks as always for the info!
Yeah, I guess I expected it to drop on day 1 for some reason. A few more days off discounts I suppose!
Crusader Industries is a Pancake shop. Intrepid is a small pancake, MSR is a medium pancake, Hercs are large pancakes :)
Rofl. And here I am loving them all but only eating waffles.

No way. Crepes are too good and I overeat by around double my normal capacity. No can do
Got another M2 ccu for paladin ccu chain depending on the price of it.
Paladin has my interest as well.
11:28 Zi read the screen it says $80 and a completely (Fen BS) 15% off
Right but that's for the package. Still a bit too high imo but not terrible. If the stand alone ship were this much I don't think they would sell any.
@ oh.. sorry.
I haven’t really thought about a package since 2017. And that only came with three months of insurance. 😕

The starlancer tac and max were both for sale during citizen con as a joint package with 10 years of insurence.
The Twin pack is still available as is the Zeus duo pack. The WB version (Starlancers) gives LTI currently.
