Let me know your experience, but for me the darkness maxes out after about 24 hrs with full 28% ammonium.
      Best to you.

I rubbed 0000 steel wool, cleaned, then wiped teak oil over it, 2 coats, then 10% spar urethane mixed with teak oil, 2 coats, and now some of the boards look like chocolate now.@@TheThoughtfulWoodworker

Thanks for making this Great video ! May I have one question for you please, have found that the wood moisture content level went up by a lot after fuming? and even after proper re-drying, the wood tend to grab moisture from the air more easily than before. Thank you.

Thank for the nice comment. I haven't noticed any difference with moisture content. Even if there was, it would just be on the surface. It didn't seem to affect the finishing process either. Thanks.

Mr. Sandry, In popular woodworking #265 you did a article on making the Limbert Style #239 Tabouret Side Table. In the article and cut list there was no mention of the type of wood used for the project. Was it White Oak?

Hi, thanks for your interest in the Limbert #239 Tabouret article in Popular Woodworking magazine. Building Limbert style furniture is a passion of mine. The table was indeed white oak. Interestingly, Limbert also built some of his furniture from Ash lumber. If you fume the project as I did in the article, I'd stick with white oak. If you're using dye or stain the table would look good in a variety of lumber species.

Sounds like a Limbert #153. Beautiful table form.
