Homosapiens aka human is a productive animal. He lives by his produce and dies if he doesn’t (produce)!!!. Therefore he is invariably “constructed” for production!!(His) Literature is no exception!! It is productive(to begin with),not “creative”!! The moment Literature looses it’s (productive ) relationship with production is when it becomes art, the so called “creative” act! [Whether you like it or not, You can not wish away it’s(contemporary literature) wish to perpetuate (current) production system aka Culture/Politics/Economics.]
I do not agree with the point that you made that literary theories have nothing to do with literature. Your some point of views are insignificant and not actually applicable to present literary studies.
