You might want to react to Ren's uplifting million YT subscribers video before going down the dark path to Kujo Beatdown. It would fortify you for the journey!
@@randyballen7955 Ooo, agreed. Dumb King Come rounds out the context of Kujo Beatdown (in which ofc there's a King Dotta reference) by *really* driving home the contrast between Ren's usual kind, compassionate self and where he'll end up if you keep "mistaking kindness for weakness". I didn't see it until afterward and it was still impactful in that way, but it would be interesting to see someone who watches them in release order.
The Chapters are great. He put them out as a lead up to Troubles. Definitely watch the 36 min explanation video before watching Kujo Beat Down. It helps you understand exactly what went down and gets you pumped for the MV!
He had just broken with his management abd frustrated with all their manipulations. So he wrote this and produced it abf released it within a coupke weeks. He and Samuel Perry-Falvey , his friend and cinematographer , grabbed 2 cell phones taped to the dash. Almost everyone lives Power. The boys sang it on the last luve stream before he foubd out he got the #1 album for Sick Boi.
@PoliticallyPink no not Sony, this was a manager he had i think during Big Push days. Same management Chinchilla had. They left that group(?) At the same time. I remember Ren said he showed him some songs from Sick Boi and then guy said Eh, not your best work, .
Thanks so much for your reaction and for supporting Ren bro, really really appreciate it. I'm sure you're already aware, but just in case you're not, before you react to Kujo Beat Down,it's super important that you watch "Why Sick Boi is off all streaming platforms / youtube the Kujobeats and Ren situation" first(yeah i know Sick Boi is back up now),most people do a seperate reaction to that vid too,i know it's 35 minutes long but it really is necessary,or you wont totally get Kujo Beat Down otherwise.
The chapters are great bc you get more in depth about his health journey, plus theres usually a little song or video at the end of each chapter with one of one of his songs 💜
I am so appreciating your reactions! As a teacher and parent of an adult and a teenager, my heart breaks for the children of broken families. Please, definitely watch the explanation BEFORE the Kujo Beatdown: it's shocking enough, even considering what happened, yet understandable under the circumstances (and still so artistically Ren). Also, I recommend that you watch Ren's 1 Million Subscriber defining success video (on your own or as a reaction) if you haven't already; it truly gives you a glimpse into Ren's heart.
Hi if you can or even might want to ya can also do a live stream of the "Ren Chapters" some reactors have done that BUT totally up to you course how ya would like to go about it either way is great cuz ya will be able to see & hear from Ren himself all he has been thru & is still going thru in his journey
Please add "Chalk Outlines" and "How to be Me" to your list. He does these songs with an artist who goes by "Chinchilla," who is a powerhouse in her own right.
Hopefully you'll watch(even if it's on your own time) his 30min explanation of why Sick Boi was taken down before actually watching Kujo Beat Down... Some context is... missing from the song itself.
This is a fun one. I would like you to watch the Cudjoe beat down break down 30 minute video where he explains everything. The chapters are going to be hard though just so you know. I love you Kev! thanks
Your smile is infectious, mate. Cheers! 🍻 edit: Every time I watch this video I get claustrophobia watching them drive. Not much room! lol double edit: I completely agree. It's rare when Ren follows traditional song structure. I love that about him.
Just to avoid confusion, "Kujo Beatdown" is the song. The 35 minute video with the explanation is called "Why Sick Boi is off all streaming platforms / youtube - the KUJOBEATS and Ren situation". You don't need to do a full reaction to the 35 minute video, but I do suggest watching it before reacting to the song. You may also want to check out/react to "Dumb King Come (King Dotta Diss)" beforehand. A rapper named King Dotta wrote a rap trying to gain some notoriety/clout-chasing by slamming Ren and another rapper (Knox Hill, who's a friend of Ren). Knox Hill and Ren both decided to respond even though Dotta is nowhere near their level. This video is Ren going along with the rap battle culture even though it's not his nature to battle. There's a small reference to it in the Kujo beatdown, but mainly I think it shows the contrast between Ren in rap battle vs. actually fighting mad Ren.
I am looking forward to your reaction to "Dominos" by Ren. Lyric version I think. Love your reactions of our guy. Also, check out Zack Sang interview, with Ren. Amazing interview
❤❤❤ Always a great one for motivation or an energy boost. Like many of his songs, it lives in my head.❤ How about some older ones😊 Hold on, Life is funny, Ocean ft Eden Nash, Penitence ft Molly McKinna, Heretic, Ready for you, or Fire.
The flipped screen confuses my brain every time. It is just so Wrong seeing a steering wheel on the left in Brighton!! Makes me feel queasy and waiting for an accident to happen! Samuel Perry-Favey who is driving has filmed a lot of Ren's videos. I think there were 3 phones set up in the car for this. He is the master of one takes. He and Ren won awards for Money Game 3. _Please,_ do not watch Kujo Beatdown if you have not first seen a few specific songs first. As we know, Ren references previous songs in newer songs. This happened in the beatdown. It makes so much more sense if you know what he is referencing and is sooooo much more fun to be able to spot the references!! You need to have seen *King Dotta Diss, Money Game 3, Hi Ren and Sick Boi* to get all the references. I have never felt comfortable listening to a reactor listening to the Chapters, since I always felt it was a bit ghoulish, but I think I would like to listen to them with you.
If you want a song suggestion, a little under reacted song, Big Push song "Swan Song," the one filmed in a church You said this one was different most are 😄
In my humble opinion, chapters are there for you to watch, but not to react to. It is such a vulnerable intimate topic, that It really doesn't sit right with me to react to it. You should watch them on your own; they are essential to deeper understanding of Rens music and personality. And I know many will not agree with me, but please consider it. Mabye you could react to the songs at the end of some of the chapters separately after watching the rest on your own. That doesn't mean not talking about the content of the chapters, that is important, but just not in a classical reaction way. Ultimately it is your decision, you do you.
I have the same mixed feelings about people reacting to the Chapters. I will say that this guy is one of the few reactors I could see possibly being okay with, bc he's so empathetic and thoughtful with his reactions. Idk, I'd have to see how I felt if/when I tried to watch the first one. But yeah, if you watch them on your own time, definitely save the songs at the end for reactions. ❤
I'd recommend hitting up Ren's 1 million subscribers video before Kujo Beat Down. It's only 5 minutes long and tells you a LOT about who he is as a person and why his fans are so devoted to him. It also helps provide some context for why everyone got so heated when the KBD landed. 🫶
You might want to react to Ren's uplifting million YT subscribers video before going down the dark path to Kujo Beatdown. It would fortify you for the journey!
And if you haven’t done Dotta you should do that before Kujo I think

I don't think Ren has ever had a bad word to say about his management with Sony. He said their parting was mutual and amicable.
@PoliticallyPink no not Sony, this was a manager he had i think during Big Push days. Same management Chinchilla had. They left that group(?) At the same time. I remember Ren said he showed him some songs from Sick Boi and then guy said Eh, not your best work, .
@@PoliticallyPink This isn't about his break up with Sony (in 2010), this is much later and came after a break with a manager. 😊
Excited for you to do this as it’s such a fun one! I would love for you to do Chinchilla with and without Ren
Thanks so much for your reaction and for supporting Ren bro, really really appreciate it. Cracking reaction so much more enjoy What You want , Genesis,
Losing It and Murderer all brilliant and upbeat ❤
The driver is Ren's friend and cinematographer Samuel Parry-Falvey. Shot DIY style on iPhones. Great song and reaction.
And aparentrly it was an exception that we can see Sam dancing... loll
Wonderful reaction. Really love this video. Find and focus on our power. Love and wellness to you and everyone ❤❤❤🫶
Looks like a little 'big fish little fish cardboard box' going on there lol
The chapters are great bc you get more in depth about his health journey, plus theres usually a little song or video at the end of each chapter with one of one of his songs 💜
Renegate here and didn’t know that…thx 🤗

I love this one, it's still got some serious lyrics but it's triumphal. ❤
Gotta love a little car-dancing.
The driver of the car was Sam, Ren's videographer. Great reaction. Keep up the great work!
I've really enjoyed your Ren journey! You are always a great reactor, and you clearly are now a Renegade!
Thanks for supporting our favorite boi!! 🖤
If your day needs lifting this is the one! Power!! Thanks x
Love this one! It really shows his resilient spirit! Love your energy and positive vibes!❤️🔥✌🏻🫶🏻

Your smile is infectious, mate. Cheers! 🍻 edit: Every time I watch this video I get claustrophobia watching them drive. Not much room! lol

This is literally one of my favourite ones 😊

Lol I should've read further! I basically said this about Dumb King Come in a reply above, but you said it much better than I did. ☺
Love this song, he drives up my road he not just in Brighton he is also in Bristol in this video 😊
Love you, your reaction actually managed to cheer me up this morning ❤
I love this song, love Ren and your reactions too! I'd love to see you do the chapters, you'll get to know Ren much better. Thanks, that was so fun.
Ren throwing some shapes lol this is my ringtone, one of my favourites
❤

I think you are my favorite reactor for Ren 🖤 no son or anything… sorry.., but your childish smile is enough, hitting home somehow
You should react to NF to. He also got real Lyrics like Ren does but a slightly different Story.👍 Great Reaction btw.

Power is awesome, Chapters I have read but do not want to hear again... useful if you want to know more abot how he got here.
You should watch Ren's one million subscribers video before you watch why sick boi is off all streaming platforms.
React to the chapters !!!
The car was a left hand drive which was confusing
