      No Herd!!! Jackson is absolutely wrong. All be it, the game has evolve but the idea that the game has gotten weaker is absolutely nonsense. If you're trying to tell me a 6'7" - 6'8" guy in LBJ a locomotive with his athleticism is going to suffer in let's say Jordan's era is not realistic. If LBJ with his physical nature and his basketball IQ played I MJ's era, MJ will be in the position of Kevin Durant.

    One year later, Stephen Jackson was dead on with this one.
    Tony Parked basically killed any chance of Kawhi and the Spurs reconciling their relationship. Then he dips after that mess and is out of the league while Kawhi takes a different team to the finals.

      Stephen Jackson was a very good hard-nosed player who deserves a great amount of basketball respect for his accomplishments on the floor. He does come across as hating on so many other players that I find I become numb to all of his complaints. He may have some cogent points but his personal feelings override his analysis to such a degree that everything is tainted. Does not seem like a bad guy but he sometimes gets lost in the weeds. Straight truth can be stated in a calm and smooth way without the added attacks, slights, and backhanded compliments and still be strong, cold, and to the point. He does this at times and comes off as insightful and heady. Then someone mentions Tony Parker..

      Yeah lol im not the biggest lebron fan...(die hard magic fan and kareem fan) but captain jack is nuts. Lebron is a physical specimen like weve never seen before...to say he wouldnt have done that well in past era's is dumb. He has a high IQ for the game...and the body to literally dominate. I do believe his looks at the rim would be more difficult and i think his lack of 3 point shooting would have hurt him early on, even though now he shoots it better. But man jack is on a good one.

      CARLOS GUTIERREZ can’t believe people are so dumb, he meant if LeBron joined the league 15 years before he actually did meaning if LBJ joined it in 1988. He would’ve been a solid player in any era, but he wouldn’t have dominated in Michael Jordans era. Because of his week mindset, way more physical play, flagrant foul’s, actual big man down low, he would’ve been good but he’s in the best era he ever could’ve been in the one he is in now.

    Whenever they bring you on you are introduced as a tough guy but they don't mention the fact you could score well. That's your legacy and now you sound like that old guy who talks about old times
    Now players are smarter with their bodies look at brady and Brees playing at high levels close to or over 40 years old
    This thing about this player or that player wouldn't survive well teams from 80's and 90's wouldn't be able to match warriors shooting and this is coming from a Lakers fan

    Tony Parker assisted on 3 out of 6 of Stephen Jackson's 3's in that series against OKC. Manu and Tony coming out about Kawhi is an indicator that they know he is not coming back to the Spurs. I have no problem with Tony Parker's comments.

    Nobody would respect Manu's word ? Tony Parker's word ? Seriously why is a guy like Stephen Jackson all the time in the media ? Is becasue they know he's crazy right ? And why is he talkin about being soft and longevity ? He never in his career played all 82 games. In 2009 when he had one of his best seasons he played 59 games. In 2005 he played 51 games. 2002 it was 23 games. 2012 he played in 47 games. So yeah..he misses some games.

    • @armin38822
      @armin38822 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      only ignorant people who don't actually love basketball would say that tony or manu were any kind of role players. Manu even on his own beat team USA in fiba competition for the gold medal at the olympics 2004 I think. He's the real deal and would be a franchize type player if he wanted to but decided to stay with the Spurs and play a 6th man role so he could win rings and a lot of games. He's a stud and the same goes for Tony.
