You have to fear someone in order to respect them? Stephen Jackson is saying no one on the Spurs respects Manu and Tony just because they "dont have the balls" and aren't inviting enough fear. That's ridiculous. Manu and Tony are both way more respected than Jackson is. And both are future first ballot HOF-ers.
I think what he was saying they are both pop's house snitches or media assassins and they're HOF but what does that have to do with still taking pop shots 😂 at a player who is no longer there?
S. Jackson calling Parker a ball hog... Haha that is rich coming from one of the most notorious ball hogs ever. Yes SJax, Keep wondering why you were never passed the ball from your Spurs teammates
I love Stack but his thing about LeBron not being as good in a previous era of basketball is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Newsflash: LeBron was an all-State high school football player. He would have flourished in a more physical era of NBA basketball.
Its the single dumbest argument ive ever heard. Miami Lebron would be a better in the 90s than he was today. Dude was walking around looking like Karl Malone with handles. The reason he's so special is someone that big and strong shouldn't have his skill set.
Calm down bro what you said no body fears to respect TP or GNB(so now someone has to be feared to be respected) that are respected enough to go to HOF. Wow no wonder why you had to play on so many teams cause this tough guy things gets old quick Whenever they bring you on you are introduced as a tough guy but they don't mention the fact you could score well. That's your legacy and now you sound like that old guy who talks about old times Now players are smarter with their bodies look at brady and Brees playing at high levels close to or over 40 years old This thing about this player or that player wouldn't survive well teams from 80's and 90's wouldn't be able to match warriors shooting and this is coming from a Lakers fan Khawai can take all the time but if every single doctor clears him and he still doesn't want to play than maybe something is wrong with his mind Also your uncle shouldn't be your agent
Ginger Brown if Tracy mcgrady gets in than for sure TP AND MG will get in too. Parker was a late first round pick and led to spurs played well and manu gets in simply for his clutch shots besides the fact he was very good to great for a long time
I understand jax defending kawhi since he also did try to do a power play after they won nba finals. Sad for him pops 3 musketeers was still young, they just said bye to him.
They questioned Kawhi’s injury and his heart and paid for it dearly. The mishandling of Leonard will forever be one of the biggest blights on Pop and Parker’s careers.
I still wear my number 3 jersey proudly. Jackson brought energy and grit off of the bench which is hard to quantify with stats alone. I was sad to see him leave the Spurs but I remained a fan through out the rest of his career.
"they're tight like violin strings" ..."why are they getting injured" ...you answered the question ..they're way more muscle bound nowadays...muscle imbalances leads to injuries.
SJ always keeps it 💯....the universe really needs ........................... Stephen Jackson & Matt Barnes show!!!!!! Y’all would take over the world!
Tony Parker assisted on 3 out of 6 of Stephen Jackson's 3's in that series against OKC. Manu and Tony coming out about Kawhi is an indicator that they know he is not coming back to the Spurs. I have no problem with Tony Parker's comments.
@jim doe yeah I know pop made him come off the bench but he was getting starter mins coming off bench. But prime kawahi vs prime manu I'm taking kawahi. Kawahi is going to HOF also
You meam when he mentioned if James played 15 years ago? I guess he didn't realize he did play 15 years ago while winning rookie of the year? Such truth lol.
Right. Most players are smart enough to get out of the way when a 260 LBS freight train is running at full speed to the Basketball. Only fools stay and get posterized like Jusuf Nurkic.
Nobody would respect Manu's word ? Tony Parker's word ? Seriously why is a guy like Stephen Jackson all the time in the media ? Is becasue they know he's crazy right ? And why is he talkin about being soft and longevity ? He never in his career played all 82 games. In 2009 when he had one of his best seasons he played 59 games. In 2005 he played 51 games. 2002 it was 23 games. 2012 he played in 47 games. So yeah..he misses some games.
only ignorant people who don't actually love basketball would say that tony or manu were any kind of role players. Manu even on his own beat team USA in fiba competition for the gold medal at the olympics 2004 I think. He's the real deal and would be a franchize type player if he wanted to but decided to stay with the Spurs and play a 6th man role so he could win rings and a lot of games. He's a stud and the same goes for Tony.
In the 2003-2004 season, Jackson was in his fourth year and Lebron was in his first. They played in the same era. SJ averaged 18-5-3 Lebron averaged 20-6-6

And the year after he averaged 27 7 7 for the next 13 seasons lol these guys are lucky this 6'9" 275 lbs didn't play in the more physical ERA. Every game the opposing small forward would be going down with an injury just for having to deal with LeBron
whitemamba1656 Exactly! Remember what came out of Andre Iguadolas mouth... He said after Finals games guarding LBJ he had to take anti inflammatory pills every game!
it's amazing when bringing up LeBron vs Magic, Bird, MJ we keep saying the more physical era will be a disadvantage to the bigger stronger and more physical player. It makes no sense.
whitemamba1656 I agree
He would have destroooyed this gaypantsballers!!
exactly ... why do people think a) Only opponents will be able to play physical and not lbj & b) that 6-9" 250 lb guy would get beaten up by plumbers (90% of them)
It's a sport out there where people tackle each other, it's called football. By the way Stak Lebron was in the league 15 years ago
SJAX was so spot on and here we are Raptors Champions Kawhi FMVP SPurs bounced in the first round what a timeline!
When Stephen J said Tony is selfish he could've mentioned when he smashed Brent Barry wife
Barry has to fight him. Violence is never the answer, except when it is haha
First thing I thought of, that boy Brent stop saying his name in any spurs highlights on nba tv 😂
@@estebanb7166 You fight a stranger for sleeping with your wife.. When a teammate and good friend does it, you break both his legs, drive him 50 miles away from civilization and tell him to walk home. Preferable somewhere with Cougars and Grizzley Bears nearby too.
@6:05 deeezaammm! And Kawhi is now a 2 time champion
Thankfully, these players have more leverage now, than ever!!! And that's a good thing, for them!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Captain Jack working both networks like a Boss lol.He goes where he wants when he wants to collect them checks.
Cgizzle Da Great exactly. Them kids cost money
Manu and Tony house snitches will never be as respected as Kawai,
Mr Jackson is so on point a year later... Now Kawhi is in the finals.... Parker used to be my favourite player.....
This is very interesting to hear a year later with Kawhi in the finals. I lost respect for SA as an organization
And tony dropping his retirement announcement during kawahis finals also reeked of petty selfishness
@@triplenerd no one really cared though
S. Jackson calling Parker a ball hog... Haha that is rich coming from one of the most notorious ball hogs ever. Yes SJax, Keep wondering why you were never passed the ball from your Spurs teammates
tossinoff lol true
but he said he hit 6 straight 3s whats more important
tossinoff idiot he’s a shooting guard and small forward he’s not supposed to pass
he played in BIG 3 last summer and dude was still a ball hog ! ... then as usual tried to start a fight on the court.
uh everyones supposed to pass when its the right play lol
I love Stack but his thing about LeBron not being as good in a previous era of basketball is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
Newsflash: LeBron was an all-State high school football player. He would have flourished in a more physical era of NBA basketball.
😂😂😂😂💯
He also broke his finger and quit so there's that lol.
Lebron= Tony Gonzales with a better offensive skill set in basketball
@@cntfoolmebuddy o please... He averaged 38 ppg in the ECF in '09...
Its the single dumbest argument ive ever heard. Miami Lebron would be a better in the 90s than he was today. Dude was walking around looking like Karl Malone with handles. The reason he's so special is someone that big and strong shouldn't have his skill set.
The elephant in the corner.... Tony Parker chased a team mate away by sleeping with his wife.
chester jackson
chester jackson
I forgot he slipped a teammates wife the beef.
chester jackson Yep. He cheated on Eva Longoria with Brent Barry's wife
+Wade County exactly
We need to see more celebrities being honest like this.
Man I love listening to this guy! You know you're getting the truth !
Calm down bro what you said no body fears to respect TP or GNB(so now someone has to be feared to be respected) that are respected enough to go to HOF. Wow no wonder why you had to play on so many teams cause this tough guy things gets old quick
Whenever they bring you on you are introduced as a tough guy but they don't mention the fact you could score well. That's your legacy and now you sound like that old guy who talks about old times
Now players are smarter with their bodies look at brady and Brees playing at high levels close to or over 40 years old
This thing about this player or that player wouldn't survive well teams from 80's and 90's wouldn't be able to match warriors shooting and this is coming from a Lakers fan
Khawai can take all the time but if every single doctor clears him and he still doesn't want to play than maybe something is wrong with his mind
Also your uncle shouldn't be your agent
I agree with everything u said but that HOF ting is a reach
if you don't think freaking ginobili and parker are gonna be in the hall of fame then you need to watch some tape.
ginger brown me:google how to delete some one else’s is comment
Ginger Brown if Tracy mcgrady gets in than for sure TP AND MG will get in too. Parker was a late first round pick and led to spurs played well and manu gets in simply for his clutch shots besides the fact he was very good to great for a long time
I understand jax defending kawhi since he also did try to do a power play after they won nba finals. Sad for him pops 3 musketeers was still young, they just said bye to him.
my Spurs took a huge L by how we handled the Kawhi situation. A generational talent gone and a setback that probably will take a decade to recover.
2023 and the spurs still haven't recovered from Leonard leaving....
7:38 broke my heart again😩❤️
They questioned Kawhi’s injury and his heart and paid for it dearly. The mishandling of Leonard will forever be one of the biggest blights on Pop and Parker’s careers.
We don't know those words probably motived him, that was the push that made him better, but elsewhere.
Kawhi wanted to get out of there. He wanted to go to LA which was confirmed by where he ended up
Lebron played 15 years ago and was dunking on everybody
I think he meant that if LeBron was in his 15th year 16 yrs ago
@@sammunoz2112 but that's stupid.
Worldwide Wyatt no hes right
I still wear my number 3 jersey proudly. Jackson brought energy and grit off of the bench which is hard to quantify with stats alone. I was sad to see him leave the Spurs but I remained a fan through out the rest of his career.
Man I like me some Stephen Jackson
Kawhi hurt Tony Parker's feelings so bad by winning a chip after begin traded that Parker retired. SMH
Just saw this video today, Jul 1, 2019. These 2 are spot on with regards to Kawhi and Kyrie.
15 years ago lebron won rookie of the year lol
BobzillaTV Stephen Jackson so dumb smh
tommyarchie only when he talked about bron everything else is spot on
"they're tight like violin strings" ..."why are they getting injured" ...you answered the question ..they're way more muscle bound nowadays...muscle imbalances leads to injuries.
Stephen Jackson acts like he played in the 80s and traded fists with Bill Laimbeer
lol, EXACTLY
Did yall forget the pistons vs the pacers fight even the fans got nocked out 😂 😂 😭
Niklas Dohrmann He literally did much worse...
TheMcLeanster “LOL EXACTLY IM WRONG”
@@KoolViberz ... I know rite?😄... He's earned his stripes...lol.
My guy Stephen Jackson as usual 🤜🏾🤛🏾 💪🏾
Tony Parker = worst teammate ever, ask Rick Barry.
Dustin Basurto is Rick Barry even alive anymore? Lol, he retired in the 80s so if Parker slept with his wife in the 2000s 🤢. You meant Brent Barry lol
@@johnwinning5724 yes , I meant Brent Barry.
Tony is a horrible teammate and the way he threw Kawhi under the bus has always made me hate him, I respect his game but that's about it.
Pretty much.
Hate is such a strong word.
SJ always keeps it 💯....the universe really needs ...........................
Stephen Jackson & Matt Barnes show!!!!!!
Y’all would take over the world!
Gave us the greatest kobe interview before his passing . RIP
Tony Parker assisted on 3 out of 6 of Stephen Jackson's 3's in that series against OKC. Manu and Tony coming out about Kawhi is an indicator that they know he is not coming back to the Spurs. I have no problem with Tony Parker's comments.
Kawai is better than Tony and ginobli ... Hands down
@jim doe manu in his prime is 6th man of the year kawahi is a 2x fmvp. Come on bruh I think curry at his highest aspiration than manu
Ginobili was never better than Kawhi.
jim doe, true basketball enthusiasts know the truth. There is no need to prove what is a consensus fact.
@jim doe yeah I know pop made him come off the bench but he was getting starter mins coming off bench. But prime kawahi vs prime manu I'm taking kawahi. Kawahi is going to HOF also
@jim doe ... no there wasn't.
Dam. Got in my feels at 7:38.💛💜😢
HEXXISTENTIAL fr😭
If youre gonna fly that much, you need two pilots incase the dude gets a heart attack.
@@Malcomx281 that’s not the solution , it’s just a tragic event
"Tony Parker's comment was just low" "if I felt a guy coulda played and didn't, then I'm gonna say it" lol wut?
Very low by tp, you cant and shouldn't compare ur injury to another's just wrong smdh
Seeing Kawhi with Spurs as his team now seems like forever ago damn.... time moves fast
And he did play in the league 15 years ago same stat
If this guy was playing with the Spurs right now, he would have been the first to call out Kawhi... such an attention seeker...
Not for an injury
deranged not for an injury and if he was to call him out he wouldn’t do it in the media
deranged if it’s an injury he wouldn’t Jackson isn’t that type of dude
deranged if he did call out kawhi it would be in private he’s too real to do it through the media
Jackson really spoke truth there. Very rare to see this in sports today.
You meam when he mentioned if James played 15 years ago? I guess he didn't realize he did play 15 years ago while winning rookie of the year? Such truth lol.
@@josephjohnroe3678 No I mean how he came out on the spurs. In Khwai situation. "Tony don't have the balls to do that"
Lol no one trying to block his shots? He postered 3 guys just this month 😂😂😂
Right. Most players are smart enough to get out of the way when a 260 LBS freight train is running at full speed to the Basketball. Only fools stay and get posterized like Jusuf Nurkic.
Lance T he got outplayed by a bench player for 6 straight finals games 🌝
In hindsight this was a great interview Stephen J was on point💯
Congrats Kawhi on another trip to the finals!
So yeah..he misses some games.
armin38822 no one cares about tony parker and manu ginobili. They are perfect role players next to tim duncan the superstar. You idiot
only ignorant people who don't actually love basketball would say that tony or manu were any kind of role players. Manu even on his own beat team USA in fiba competition for the gold medal at the olympics 2004 I think. He's the real deal and would be a franchize type player if he wanted to but decided to stay with the Spurs and play a 6th man role so he could win rings and a lot of games. He's a stud and the same goes for Tony.
armin38822 the most perfect role players that could explode for 30 plus on any given night. You Dumb ash. They are irrelevant
You know they are both making the Hall Of Fame right ? Tony Parker is the greatest guard from Europe ever. But yeah irrelevant I guess.
armin38822 yuo just like you
In the 2003-2004 season, Jackson was in his fourth year and Lebron was in his first. They played in the same era.
SJ averaged 18-5-3
Lebron averaged 20-6-6
This cat Stephen Jackson is more than the truth & very blunt
Stephen Jackson actually thought he was better than Ginobili.
SJ thank you for speaking up for the quiet giaNT. KL.
lebron played in the NBA 15 years ago
So we going pretend like kyrie wasnt leading his team before his injury? He cant help that he is injured.
Jeremy Walker 💯
Jackson is a straight G!!! Much respect !!!
Rewatch this after the championship... kawhi is the man
lebron averaged 25 7 and 7 14 years ago so what is this man talking about???????
Parthion xbl
LoL don’t take what he says seriously.
Parthion xbl lol. He only been in the league 3 more years than Lebron. They played in the same era what is he saying
I love Captain Jack and the story game of 6 vs OKC hittin 6 3s in a row and mr. Frencman didnt want to pass the ball.smh...

Lebron is more durable than a Ford F-150
Most durable athlete of all-time. This man has NEVER had a major injury in his career. The only injury I remember that kept him out was the back injury he had in 2015 that kept him out for like 2 weeks.
Aisian ThreeQUISIANS that’s not saying much. Very bad comparison
