9:40 that reminds me of that one time at a Slayer show last August, this guy was passing around a cigar, the security guard for that section noticed (it was in a stadium). He walked directly up to the guy and asked him if it was a joint, the kid responded by saying “uh yea it is!” The security guard took the cigar, sniffed it, then gave it back to the kid. He said “no it’s not ya fuck” and just went back to his normal position
I once went to a house show and saw a hardcore band that was just a dad and his two young children. During the final song, the dad came at me with an electric fly swatter.
I stole the lead singer of SteakSauce Mustache's shoe during the set cuz he threw them in the pit, I still have it to this very day, it's a pair of pink vans with little cake sprinkles
I'm happy for 2 reasons. 1 because I was finally in a DickeyDines video and I was the first comment they read, and 2 because they pronounced my last name right
Been a Marilyn Manson fan for around 24 years, and never seen him live. There's this great video, though, probably not the only one of its kind. He collapses onstage, and starts crawling on his knees and elbows. There's a guy on either side of him, trying to pick him up, but he can't stand. He's kind of pushing them aside, and then he starts puking, just spraying out liquid, like, several times (It COULD have been water...?...). He has the mic in his hand, still, and doesn't puke on it. When he finishes his fit, he holds the mic back to his mouth, and starts singing again! I'm not saying I'm not worried about the man, just that I was pretty impressed!
The craziest band I saw live was Lionheart. During their set one of their roadies round house kicked a kid right in the spine and got all in the kids face. Lionhearts vocalist instantly stopped screaming, jumped off the stage and grabbed their boy around the neck and screamed "chill the fuck out!" Then threw they guy back. The band never stopped play while this all happened lol it was hardcore af
I've seen people cut their fingers on strings but totally different scenario. My friends and I were on acid and one them decided to practice guitar while tripping. The group left to venture outside of the house but he stayed to play longer. Once we all returned hours later, we saw him in the same spot, still shedding the guitar and his fingers were bleeding. I've never seen someone trip so hard on playing guitar. Literally he was there for at least 4 hours, facing the amp, looking down, and shredding. Non stop.
Authority Zero is pretty sick live. Singer decides to go down from stage, in the middle of the crowd. Half of the surface or the venue started running in circles. Just amazing.
I forget the band name but they were opening for ACDC's last tour: the drummer was trying to pump up a crowd where 98% couldnt care less about anything other than ACDC so he brought a drum out of his kit, bring it to side stage and play on it while trying (somewhat successfully) to hype up the crowd. Until he somewhat dropped the drum he had hanging on the edge of the stage onto a security guards head. The guard got pissed and started cussing the guy out. The rest of the band was trying to keep going while the drummer handled it but you could hear the fight over the mics and it was so awkward
1999, Original 1k capacity Soma in San Diego, System of a Down opened for Clutch and Slayer. During the Clutch set, the drummer beat the fuck out of the snare to the point it completely tore open. The set stopped since Clutch was minus its most Chad snare, Slayer drummer was looking at the snare like "Fuck you, not mine" and then the drummer from System comes out trying to keep his head high but terrified he'd never see his snare again.
Side Note: During Slayer, a young lady with about 15-20 braids got in the center of the pit and starting whipping her braids in a huge headbanging circle. EACH braid had a razor blade tied in to it. I don't want to know where they were hidden. Halfway through criminally insane a human trash compactor the NFL would get pussy wet over walked up, knocked her out clean, and dragged her over to security.
7:48 Doyle from Misfits breaks picks and bleeds while he plays guitar but he literally does punch them from a diagonal angle so.... There is that. He at least sounds amazing live though.
IM SO HAPPY YOU MENTIONED STEAKSAUCE! Taylor and the bois are super cool, and theyre all great guys. If you haven't heard Steaksauce Mustache go check them out!
I was at the show back in the day where Asking Alexandria had the crowd tear the ceiling down in Alabama. Was a result of Miss May I and Emmure before them and I guess the venue said the current damages needed to be paid, so AA being AA said fuck it and tear it all down. I may or may not have broke the first tile during Miss May I earlier in the day. But who really knows, this could be an elaborate lie.
I just saw Deafheaven live with Chastity and DIIV, and it was by far one of the most beautiful shows I've ever been to. The lights, the music, everything. Could've shed a tear Also ima see Whitechapel next weekend
My friends in the band wretched inferno were playing a show in the Boston area and halfway through the set the bassist/vocals just started puking on stage...never stopped playing kept wailing on it. Then members from our other friends bands came on stage and helped finish the show
I saw Nothing More live a few months ago and I'd have to say that Johnny Hawkins jumping on their Scorpion Tail machine that they built themselves... and then proceeding to play a cover of First of the Year by Skrillex live was pretty crazy
There's this local band called Crab Action that had an ice gun they sprayed the audience with during songs. They had one song called Crab Fu where the singer got off the stage and grabbed my face in the middle of it which was tight. During the last song, he had me and a bunch of other people make a circle around him and sway back and forth head banging while he sang the last song to us. Going to see them again on Friday \m/,
Your concert in Salt Lake City there was a dude there with he’s hoodie up who was just standing there and I thought he was going to shoot Up the place 😂
My friend was at the Atilla concert where Fronz slapped a security guard on the head. She got injured by security, but she said it was one of the best concerts she went to.
a crazy live show I went to is one where it was a metallica show and during sanitarium they had overhead screens showing visuals of deranged insane asylum prisoners, clawing at the glass walls, this all happened whilst they were playing the song and it was very creepy but very atmospheric and powerful (the show itself was amazing fyi) and at the end james made it less horrifying by saying "yeah they only get let out to go to the bathroom." XD
I saw kissing Candice once, they have great music and an amazing live show, the singer does that as a sort of expressionism. Check them out if your into shock metal, horror core, or heavy theatrical metal
I saw Rush back on their R40 tour in 2015 in Toronto. The show was sold out and when I left that night and they had finished playing. I noticed when I got back in my car to go home I had went completely deaf temporarily. Was listening to 2112 on the car stereo at full blast and still could not hear a single thing. 😂
I have seen Darren from Gold Finger do that before. He puts it between his cheeks and runs around on stage during one of their songs. They are fun as hell live. This was about 2001.
4:51 the vocalist of avatar did that to! But instead of a fight he just put it near the drumset (the drumset was on a platform) and then he put it on video as he screamed and he recorded them on stage for like ten minutes. That guy was a friend of mine (I was at the show). Johannes is a great guy.... From his mood to.... Uhh, JUST EVERYTHING. You can see a lil bit of it if you search "avatar:funny moments"
I saw Silent Planet, Stray From the Path, Kublai Khan and Greyhaven and during Kublai Khan's set, there was a guy in a wheelchair in the pit going at it.

With GG Allin, the s*** literally hit the fan, or more often, the fans.
He also attacked the audience and mutilate himself and smear the shit
